  Super Moves and the Astral
Posted by: Harry Dresden - 03-28-2016, 10:29 AM - Forum: Help Desk - Replies (1)

Would it be possible to get a super move designed to allow Harry to open a way to the Astral quicker than five minutes? Alternately, a way for him to allow other people to enter the Astral? I want the portal spell in some form.

Similarly, could I fluff his five minutes of prep time as needing to search for an appropriate Way, a site that he believes connects well to the Astral plane? I'm aware that Spiritual Enlightenment has no such restriction, but Harry's magic works off belief; it works according to a complicated interaction of the actual laws of the universe and what Harry believes he can and should do, and he's used to finding Ways.

  Joining: Dell Conagher (Red Engineer)
Posted by: Dell Conagher - 03-27-2016, 09:39 PM - Forum: Joining - Replies (8)

Character name: Dell Conagher AKA RED Engineer

Character source: Team Fortress 2

Character history: I'm pulling him from the current TF2 comic series, after the invasions by Grey Mann and his robot army as well as the death of the Mann brothers.

Physical Description: Dell Conagher, or 'The Engineer' as he was referred to by his former coworkers, is a shorter-than-average human male, standing at about 4' 10". He wears a red collared t-shirt under a pair of brown overalls, yellow knee pads, and a pair of brown workboots. He wears a yellow rubber work glove on his right hand, but not one on his left. He wears a pair of welding goggles at all times, almost never taking them off, and a white ten-gallon hat has replaced his customary safety helmet. He keeps a wrench holstered in his belt for working with his sentry, but it is useless as a weapon.

(Might add a wrench weapon later)

Stats:
ATK: 2
DEF: 2
SPD: 1
TEC: 5

The Engineer has above average strength and durability from his constant time spent in the field of battle, but only moves at average human speeds. His real weapon is his genius mind, through which he can calculate and formulate plans and strategies, as well as analyze his opponents strategies. His aim isn't half-bad either.

Starting Proficiencies: Physical Strength, Ranged Proficiency (1000 - 1000 = 3000 remaining)

Starting Powers: Engineer's Intuition (Insight) 1600 OM (3000 - 1600 = 1400 remaining)
Years of constructing his buildings on the battlefield have lead to the development of a 'sixth sense' regarding the status of the Engineer's contraptions. He always knows the status of his active sentry, right down to roughly how many bullets are left in its ammo reserves to how many kills it has racked up in its lifespan, as well as if it is damaged or not.

Starting Moves

Construct Sentry (Ranged Proficiency) Cost: 900 OM (1400 - 900 = 500 remaining)

Dell deploys a red toolbox containing the collapsed turret, which over the span of 5 seconds builds itself into a level 1 Sentry. This sentry can be upgraded twice by Dell by hitting it with his wrench, with each level giving it increased durability and firepower. Its takes about 4 swings of Dell's wrench to upgrade a sentry up to the next level. Hitting his Sentry with his wrench also repairs and refills the ammo of the Sentry. Dell always carries a small amount of materials for repairing and rearming his active sentry, and he can gather more materials from traditional sources of ammo as well as sources like scrap metal.

Dell can only maintain one Sentry Gun at any given time, and can self destruct his active Sentry Gun at will with his Deconstruction PDA. An active sentry will last almost indefinitely if it is maintained, but only for 15 minutes after it's ammo reserves are depleted, or it is destroyed by more conventional methods.

A level 1 Sentry Gun stands about 3 feet tall and has a single barrel machine gun, with a fire rate of 4 shots per second. Its maximum ammo capacity is 150 bullets.
A Level 2 Sentry Gun stands about 3 1/2 feet tall and has Twin-Mounted Gatling guns, with a fire rate of 8 shots per second. Its maximum ammo capacity is 200 bullets.
A Level 3 Sentry is almost identical to the Level 2, but adds a Cluster Rocket Launcher onto the top of the sentry, bringing its total height up to 4 1/2 feet tall.
In addition to the Level 2's 200 bullets, the Level 3 also holds 20 four-rocket salvos, fired together in a tight cluster at a rate of about 1 every 3 seconds with very little splash damage. Each level is slightly more durable than the last, with all boasting minor resistance to bullets. All levels are vulnerable to blunt force and explosions.

The Sentry has an effective targeting range of 75 feet in a 360 degree area around it, and when idle rotates slowly in a 90 degree arc facing whatever direction it was placed, emitting loud beeps whenever it begins tracking in another direction. The number of beeps corresponds to the level of the sentry. It will target anything that is designated as an 'enemy' by Dell. Dell must also be near the sentry to designate a target.

Dell can pick up an active sentry, collapsing it down into the toolbox again, and carry it. Doing this removes the sentry from the battlefield, and it must be redeployed from level 1 again.

The Widowmaker (Ranged Proficiency) 300 OM (500 - 300 = 200 remaining)

Nicknamed 'the scrap cannon', this modified shotgun fires metal flechettes instead of traditional shotgun rounds. It does so via a modified clip loaded with anything metal: scrap metal, steel cans, ball bearings, etc. which it compresses into a cartridge-sized hunk of metal which is shredded upon firing, sending deadly flechettes flying into the target. It holds 10 rounds in a clip, and has a max fire rate of 2 rounds per second.

(Total Remaining OM = 200)

I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct. Heck yes.

Where did you find us? Oddly enough, through another joining post that popped up when I googled a character (it was Mettaton.)

Edit: Added Physical Strength, cleared up descriptions on Build Sentry and Widowmaker.

2nd Edit: Removed Homing Proficiency, removed Homing Proficiency as prerequisite for Construct Sentry, changed number of swings to upgrade Sentry from 8 to 4.

  Nealaphh Recognition
Posted by: Tearen Wover - 03-27-2016, 08:42 PM - Forum: Help Desk - Replies (4)

Hello,

I would humbly like to request consideration for recognition in the Ashen Steppes, in light of the completion of my year-long endeavor to create a replacement for the Megaton Hammer to be wielded by Darunia.

It all started when Nealaphh first arrived in the Nexus, swiftly becoming an enemy of both the Empire and Camelot within a span of ten minutes and catapulting itself to the top of the bounty boards and gaining instant Omniverse-wide infamy.

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=2062

Nealaphh then traveled to the Ashen Steppes, and after encountering a few dragons, slaying one, it encountered its first Goron, who brought the God-Mind to Death Mountain, where it met Darunia. Nealaphh decided that the best way to rise to power in the Omniverse was to become worshipped as a nigh deific hero, and decided to take on the task of slaying Volvagia.

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=2086

Darunia expressed that he could not slay Volvagia without the Megaton hammer, and Nealaphh began to devise a plan to construct an enhanced version. To aid in this, Nealaphh did its best to seek out Link, who himself wielded a version of the weapon.

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=2161

Nealaphh discovered that the Hero of Time was participating in a competition called Dante's Abyss, and observed the Prime's movements for several days, waiting for Link to either win or die, in the hopes of being able to inquire the Hylian about the hammer. Unfortunately, Nealaphh was unable to catch Link before Syntech closed the facility.

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=2179

In the interest of progressing its plot, and confident that it could create a viable hammer without referencing the original, Nealaphh returned to Darunia, encountering a small army of corrupted koopas along the way. Here it encountered several other Primes and helped put an end to the dark invasion. During this time, Nealaphh also made contact with Princess Guu of Ambrosia, and started negotiating a potential alliance for exterminating Volvagia.

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=2323

After speaking with Darunia again, Nealaphh made a deal with the Goron leader to have his people mine certain types of ore to be used in the construction of the Gigaton Hammer. Darunia was reluctant, but believed Nealaphh when it lied to him that it had successfully acquired plans for the original weapon.

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=2086

Nealaphh then spent some time living with the Gorons and earning their trust. It worked with them in finding rich veins of copper and nickel ore, and in the process, encountered a mysterious automaton Prime. Together, Nealaphh and Keepless protected the mining party from an attack from a stealthy dragon.

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=2389

Shortly after this event, and while still living at Death Mountain, Nealaphh published its primary means of controlling the minds of those who would follow it; the Monotruth. The manifesto outlined its plans for a unified, equal, and secure Omniverse, as well as proposed many potential explanations for how the Omniverse worked. Many Primes and Secondaries have read the book, and it served as the basis for Nealaphh's faction: The Omniverse Institute.

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=2214

Next, Nealaphh needed to acquire specialized lab equipment for the production of the Hammer, and decided to travel to the Imperial occupied, yet relatively insecure, island of Costa Del Sol. There, it encountered the Primes Demetri Malius and Cat, swiftly recruiting them into the Institute. Tasking Demetri with locating the lab equipment, and Cat with smoothing diplomatic relations with Ambrosia, Nealaphh took it upon itself to locate a potential secret route into Coruscant from the Deeps, as well as negotiate with smugglers on how to transport the raw materials to a hypothetical location inside that verse. During the process of this, Nealaphh was ambushed by an Imperial patrol, and had its Empire bounty raised again after escaping from a damaged AT-ST.

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=2560

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=2561

Nealaphh traveled to Rapture after escaping Costa Del Sol to continue its research into secrete routes. It did not stay long, as in the process of doing so, it kidnapped a Little Sister and killed a Big Daddy, seeing the potential that the mutated girl had in her. This further inflated Nealaphh's bounty. During its time there, Nealaphh did create the secondary Drake Oneir and dispatched him to the Ashen Steppes to assist with a call for help from the Prime Miranda Frost.

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=2743

Just as Nealaphh decided to try and use the Little Sister as a host for bypassing Coruscant security, the God-Mind had the opportunity to meet Okor Paleblood and Tartaros Castus. Nealaphh had seen the footage of their museum heist, and was interested in learning how the two Primes had snuck into Coruscant. After some tense discussion, the trio of Primes worked together to kill a beast of the sea. Ultimately, the two space marines did not know of any such secret route, but Nealaphh gained a potent ally in Okor.

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=3107

Desperate for an answer to its pursuit, Nealaphh traveled to Blue Flame Island, the Deeps' home of piracy, in the hopes that one of the local smugglers would know a way into Corsuscant. Nealaphh agreed to work with one of these lords and infiltrated a rival's hideout. Ultimately, Nealaphh was discovered and was unable to complete its contract, but was able to learn that no secret routes existed from the rogue Prime Itachi Uchiha.

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=3464

Vexed that no secret routes existed, despite the rumors, Nealaphh learned that Demetri Malius had gotten in trouble with the faction of New Babylon. In the interest of preserving good relations with King Gilgamesh, Nealaphh decided to personally travel to Nippur. On the way, it encountered the fresh Prime Tom Riddle. The two agreed to travel together after witnessing another Prime being banished from the Omniverse. Upon arriving in Nippur, however, the two were pulled into a surprise siege by LAW. Nealaphh was unable to help as it was captured in an Isolation Verse, and was forced to fend off the Ambrosian powerhouse, Gildarts Clive. In the interest of preserving good relations with Ambrosia, Nealaphh left the Strongest Prime alive after narrowly defeating him.

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=2560

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=3910

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=4025

After the battle, Nealaphh and Tom Riddle agreed that, perhaps, the God Mind's original plan would not work out. As such, the wizard invited Nealaphh to form an HQ in the Pale Moores to serve as a center for arcane learning, as well as the construction of the Gigaton Hammer. Nealaphh dispatched its personal messengers to Death Mountain to alert Darunia that he and his Gorons could start shipment of the ore. In the process of this, Nealaphh announced on its Dataverse site that it would soon be time for the assault on Death mountain.

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=4537

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=2560

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=2086

After creating Hogwarts in the Moores, Nealaphh spent several weeks with Tom Riddle creating the Gigaton hammer as the raw materials were shipped on foot from the Ashen Steppes. Ultimately, the creation of the hammer was a resounding success, and Nealaphh and Tom are now in the process of returning to Death Mountain to finally deliver the weapon to Chief Darunia. Connor Hound, another Prime has already rendevouzed with them in preparation for the coming battle.

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=4611

So basically all that stuff is why I think I deserve Recognition.

Yup.

  Himitsu Ishikawa [Ezrihel Alt]
Posted by: Skadi Lufthejt - 03-27-2016, 08:35 PM - Forum: Joining - Replies (8)

Character name: Himitsu Ishikawa

Age: 26 (February 25)
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Asexual | Aromantic

Height: 5'7"
Weight: 146lbs
Skin Color: Alabaster
Eye Color: Periwinkle
Hair Color/Length: Ashen Blonde | Midback

Character source: Original

Character history:

Born on a frigid February morning, Himitsu was the only child of a wealthy mafia family's head. For the first three years of her life, she was a happy child, loved by both parents; then one day, her mother grew violent towards her, her father growing distant. They seemed to blame her from them not being able to have any more children.

This is when she met a family servant, he was three years older than her, and he had been assigned to protect her. His hair was the softest blonde, his skin slightly tanned and without mar, eyes a pretty silver-blue. "I wanna be a warrior! I'll protect you Himitsu-sama!" He had exclaimed, swinging around a dagger. This boy's name was Satoshi. After he was assigned to her, they became inseparable, Himi dubbing him "big brother" since she couldn't pronounce his name correctly. Soon within four years, Satoshi had worked his way to the top of his class, learning to wield blades, cast magic and also becoming highly adept in close quarters combat. Slowly, and secretly, he began to teach Himitsu the things he learned.

She had shown much skill in blade wielding and magic casting, but she was still fragile and easily knocked around during hand to hand fighting, even with him being gentle. Training and playing and just being a kid with him gave her something to live for. She couldn't understand why her parents shunned her, couldn't understand why her mommy beat her, why she made her hurt so bad... But after every beating Satoshi would wash her up and heal her wounds with magic.

Forever burned into her memory was one day when little seven year old Himi conjured up a ball of water in front of her mom, trying to show her mother that she could actually do something, that she wasn't useless and pathetic. A little ball of water, about the size of a silver dollar in diameter, was conjured above her open palm as she exclaimed, "Look mommy! Isn't it pretty? Do you think I did good?"

The look on her mother's face spoke thousands of words; anger, spite, hate, disapproval, disgust, and abhorring condescension.... Regret. Regret was one that stuck out to Himitsu as her mother slapped her hand away, calling her an ignorant worthless child, telling Himitsu that she was a mistake as she swore and called the child a demon and a curse... "But mommy... Mommy, why do you keep hurting me? Stop, it hurts!" The girl would exclaim as her mother hit her with an open hand and a closed fist, grabbing her by her thin and fragile wrist, only to yank and twist, forcing her onto the ground with a new purple bruise. "Stupid, pathetic, weak and unwanted."

Even though she was constantly beaten for even the smallest of mistakes, she still strove to impress her parents... Just to get their attention... It would mean the world to her, just to hear them tell her that she did a good job... Were once she had fought to get away from the pain, she had learned that no matter what she did, she would never be able to change it, never escape. She would just lie there and take the hurt and then later cry, curling up close to Satoshi, where she believed that she was safe. Satoshi was her guiding light through all the hurt... He gave her something to strive for.

Her father had learned of the magic use from her mother, and instead of wishing to punish, he began to invest time in his only child, in his eyes, she was a valuable weapon, something he could use against the people that wished to do him harm, the people that wished to take his place. Finally, finally she had gotten her father's attention, mistaking his attention for care and love, when he only wished to exploit her...

Now she was nine years old, sitting at the long dinning table surrounded by her father's political friends, by other members of her family. Her father had even recently given her a birthday gift; a small golden chain necklace. Of course, unbeknownst to her, it was just something to buy her trust with, something to consolidate her loyalty to him, to make sure that she thought he cared for her so she wouldn't turn against him. At the head of the table her father sat, next to him, on his left side, his wife sat, and to his wife's left sat his daughter Himitsu. Satoshi sat on Himi's left side, always present to protect her. After all, protecting her was what he had been raised to do for as long as he could remember.

A man stood up at the end of the dinner party, a business partner of her father's. Walking up to her father, the man pulled a dagger from his sleeve, proceeding to stab him in the chest multiple times before a slash to the throat was connected... It all happened so fast, the assassin, he seemed enhanced, he moved faster than any normal human could. By the third stab Satoshi had already risen from his seat and thrown himself over Himitsu, taking her to the floor to protect her and by the time the throat cut was scored, a burst of magic was released by Satoshi, sending the assassin across the room and head first into the wall with great force. Panic was all around, people getting up and fleeing like startled beasts... Of course, Himi never saw her dead father's body, she wasn't allowed by Satoshi to see how the only thing connecting his head to his body was a few muscles and his spinal vertebrae.

No, Satoshi wouldn't allow her to see something like that, and without much crying, she accepted the fact that her father was gone. She hadn't had time to get attached to him before his demise... She didn't know how to react... Yes, she was saddened by the loss of life, but she didn't cry over it. Her mother had been made family head, and now more than ever guards flocked the huge white castle...

Now Himitsu was thirteen years old. Young and energetic still, eyes a soft pale blue, hair still tinged with light yellow, face still round and happy. Into the mountains her 'big brother' Satoshi had taken her. Years and years of strict practise. He had trained her in the arts of fighting well. She was going to hunt a magical creature. This was the day that she discovered and spared Re'yoak the Dragon's life from the kindness of her heart. It was the day that he had become bound to her via a magical contract, a "promise" of sorts. She had spared the dragon's life, and he had become indebted to her, he asked what she wanted him to do, and she had simply said, "Protect me until the life within my bones fades away and I am no longer on the mortal plane."

Fast forward! It's been almost two years, Himitsu was about two weeks away from turning fifteen years old, it was snowing outside, the white of the snow causing the city to shine even more. The doors to Himi's balcony where thrown open as she stood on the platform and twirled a white sword, exclaiming how beautifully natural the blade felt in her hand, about how it seemed like an extension of herself. Satoshi was out on the balcony with her, watching his charge as she showed him several new sword "tricks" that she had discovered on her own. He was further out on the balcony, whilst she was closer, or rather, in the doorway. It was a happy day for her, Satoshi was pleased with her, and so she was pleased with herself. She was no longer striving to make her mother proud, but was now striving to make her guard, closest friend and older brother figure proud. His attention, his happiness meant the world to her, she did not want to disappoint the eighteen year old.

But this had to have been the worst day of her life, no? One minute he was standing there talking, smiling at her, telling her she had done a good job... Then a sharp sound just started to reach her ears as she was knocked back with a burst of magic. Landing on her rump, she looked up just in time to see Satoshi's form drop to it's knees before falling flat on it's front... His face, the entire top of his head was gone... just... Blood was on her face, his blood was everywhere, lumps of his brain matter clinging to her, blood in her open mouth as she watched more blood pour from the area where the base of his brain should have been... Had he not pushed her, she would have been dead... But he hadn't completely saved her from all harm, after the bullet went through him, it continued on, just catching the flesh of her shoulder before the missile buried itself in the stone floor.

But she couldn't feel the pain of her shoulder wound as she let loose a blood curdling scream. He was gone, he had died protecting her, he had done his job admirably. But the fact that he died protecting her didn't matter to her. The loss of him hurt worse than anything she had ever felt. For months she didn't talk, move or anything. She was force fed through a tube, kept alive via the IVs in her thin arms. What did she have to strive for now that he was gone? Nothing.

Though she didn't physically speak, she was tortured mentally by her own mind. All the things she hadn't told him, all the things she had wanted to tell him... Those few moments of her getting pushed out of the way, those few moments of utter gore that had surrounded her, over and over the memory played, a vicious nightmare that she couldn't escape whether she was awake or asleep...

Then one day a new voice appeared in her head, she was nigh on sixteen by the time it spoke up. It told her things, told her that she wouldn't have to hurt any more if she only did one thing... Avenge Satoshi. Avenge him, make the world suffer the same pain she had been suffering. A vigour overtook her weakened body as she ripped the IVs from her arm, removed the tube from her throat and sat up. Getting dressed, she drained several servants of their life energy as she healed herself and restored her muscle mass. Taking a normal sword from a dead guard, she made her way to her own mother. The mother that had neglected to acknowledge her for her entire life, the woman that had abused and hurt her. She deserved pain.

What Himitsu did to her mother was rather... dark. Slow torture, pulling off finger and toe nails turned into cutting of fingers, turned to just sickly playing with the magic-less woman before cutting her torso open and letting her die. Her mother's tears of pain were wonderful to watch as they slipped down the narrow faced face of the older woman's face.

This is the time period where Himitsu forged Blasphemy and Callous, magically enhanced weapons with spells and various enchantments sang over them as they were crafted, greatly enhancing the weapons. She then stole away, not showing her face for nearly six years as she went through training herself up even more. A cruel mentor she had during those years, forcing her to balance on a bed of metal needles, whipping her when she made a mistake during stealth training... The pain hurt, and she was never healed, nor was she allowed to heal herself. Scabs on the bottoms of her feet would constantly crack, causing her to bleed all over the floor, making it easier to make mistakes.

Now Himitsu was twenty, nearing twenty-one years of age. With years of training under her belt, and Re'yoak by her side, she began her quest of vengeance. By the age of twenty-two she had killed everyone involved with the death of Satoshi, but in her last battle, her final opponent's blood had been infected with some sort of disease. His blood got into the wounds he had inflicted on her, and she became infected as well. She killed the man, but she was going to die. The disease didn't start to rear it's head until nearly a year later though, by then she was so delusional she called the sickness "Enlightenment". So much blood had been shed by her hands, she had gone through so much in the short twenty-three years of life she had lived, honestly, who could blame her for her insanity?

She then had ruled for four years in her kingdom by the sea, powerful, extending strict laws onto her citizens in a protective totalitarianism way. She punished the wicked in cruel ways and held merciless beliefs. It was towards the end of her twenty seventh year of living, or her fourth year ruling in full, that she was summoned by the Great Smiling One.

Physical Description: Petite, has a C-cup in the bust, a small waist and has ample hips. She had a lithe and graceful build of frame for her age. Her sleek muscles are cloaked in a layer of alabaster pale skin. Her pallid skin is almost perfect with the exception of a few scattered freckles across her high cheekbones and the bridge of her straight nose. Himitsu's face is narrow, anyone with the power of sight could tell that her face shape was inherited from her mother. Her pale hair is almost always let down in a mid-back length wave of hair. Of her face, her eyes are what draw the most attention. They are ghostly light periwinkle blue, framed by thick full-bodied black lashes. Her softly arched eyebrows, the same white-blonde as her hair, complete her overall indifferent gaze. Now returning to the lower half of her face, her lips are full, the bottom one poking out just a tad bit more than the top. This causes her to look like she is pouting even though that action is a truly rare occurrence. Their color is raspberry which makes them stand out from her skin in a definite contrast from her mollified eyes.

But some people say that the clothes are what makes the appearance. Her normal everyday attire consists of a high collared black Ao Dai that emphasizes her waist and chest, but does not reveal any skin of her torso. It also vibrantly displays the Japanese symbol for balance across the bust in white. Her two piece dress shows a jade and brown green willow branch that stretches itself from the left shoulder, over the top of the balance symbol, to the bottom right corner of the fabric. Himitsu’s arms are hidden by long sleeves that cover up to her wrist. It is also noted that she wears black Tekkou that cover only the back of her hands. Continuing on, the onyx cloth of her Ao Dai splits at each hip, ending just above the ankle, only to reveal stark white leggings. These tight leggings are made of a warm, sturdy and flexible material, allowing her skin to breathe even in hotter or humid weather. A few inches below her knee black boots start. Her flat bottomed boots encase her entire calf and foot.

She tends to carry herself in a neat and dignified manner, sitting and walking with her back straight. This truly stems from her upbringing, but when no one is looking she moves with a beautiful and fluid grace, a rhythm if you will.

As for scars... Well, she has two highly notable ones. One that goes across her right jugular and another that runs vertically down the belly of her forearm. Both of these scars are the product of fights with her late mother. She does have various other scars across her entire body from the multiple years of abuse from her mother.

  Username Change
Posted by: Dell Conagher - 03-26-2016, 08:37 PM - Forum: Help Desk - Replies (1)

Hi.

I'm kinda new here.

Actually I'm really new.

I created my account before I had a character in mind and set my username to one I usually use, rather than the character I was going to make like I've noticed everyone else doing. I didnt find any way to change my username so I came here. If I could get my Username changed to 'Dell Conagher' from what it is now, that would be wonderful

Thanks.

  Switching Characters (Koal Lynch-Darth Revan)
Posted by: Gwendolyn - 03-26-2016, 06:46 PM - Forum: Joining - Replies (3)

Character name: Darth Revan

Character source: Alternate Universe Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic I

Character history:

She has been known by many names throughout her long and eventful life, and not all of them spoken with respect. The human woman known as Revan was born in the Outer Rim and was an extremely fiery and charismatic Jedi Knight. She was often thought of in a pleasant and admiring light, and multiple Jedi masters predicted that she would become one of the Order's best. Once the news of the Mandalorian forces reached the Jedi Council on the grassland planet of Dantooine, Revan immediately called for action and was denied repeatedly by the Council on the terms that this was not their fight. Calling many young and eager Jedi, Revan and her best friend, Alek, waged war on the Mandalorians. Revan's strategic mind and the ferocity of her strategy was said to have shocked even Mandalore the Ultimate. After the devastating battle of Malachor V, the Mandalorian forces were defeated and the war seemed all but won. Following a lead that led them into the Unknown Regions, the two ran into a newly formed order of Sith, Led by the Emporer Vitiate.

After twisting their minds into serving him, the Emporer sent them back into Republic space as advance scouts. The two now proclaimed Sith Lords, Darth Revan and Darth Malak, broke free of his influence and used the infamous Starforge to build a fleet to overthrow the Republic. After pushing their way through many systems, Revan was betrayed by her weaker apprentice, the coward firing on her ship whilst she was fighting a strike team led by Bastila Shan. On the edge of death, of becoming one with the Force, she is taken by Omni.

Physical Description:

Wearing the armor of a fallen Mandalorian, and robes fabricated at the Starforge itself, Revan's armor is a very impressive sight to behold, and is extremely versatile. Beneath the mask, Revan has dark brown hair that reaches just below her shoulders and piercing black eyes. She stands at about Five feet six inches tall.

Starting Moves: Revan's Lightsaber (Cost:300) Description: Built in the quiet and serene temples of Dantooine's Jedi Enclave, this blade has seen and been the cause of more death than most. An unusual hilt design, it is a reflection of Reven's personality, and thus, she treats it with the utmost care. Residing in the hilt is a synthetic red lightsaber crystal, giving the four foot six inches blade a blood-red hue. It takes about a second for Revan to draw and activate her saber when threatened.

  The Prisoner of Rage
Posted by: Gamzee Makara - 03-26-2016, 03:17 PM - Forum: The Astral Realm - Replies (8)

It’s dark. Again. So motherfucking dark. Gamzee is afraid to open his eyes in this place. Whenever he does, he can’t control what he sees. That scares him. What he sees scares him- He’s kind of a wimp, really. Regardless of this wimpy attribute, Makara attempts some movement. His arms would be first. He tries to lift them forward and up, so that he can see his hands, but finds that both of his appendages are loaded down, locked in place by a viscous, goopy substance. Ew. He can’t feel with his fingers, but he can guess that his hands are stuck firmly to the floor.

Okay, well, lets try the legs. Struggling in vain against his slimey weights to stand up, Gamzee finds that he is in a kneeling position, sitting on his knees. The holdings are strong enough against his other limbs that he finds he is unable to move much from this position, much less stand.

The neck. Can he move his head? Twisting his neck from left to right, up to down, he finds that yes, he can indeed move his head. A miracle, that is. Quivering breath leaking from his lips, the lone Bard of Rage chances cracking his eyelids just a peek.

He kneels in a pool of white light coming from an unidentified source. It is not exactly dim, nor is it really very bright. There is a sharp inhale of breath as the grey teenager stifles a whimper.

Slime.

His arms are covered in green Sopor slime, pinning him to the floor.

At first, Gamzee tries his best to stay calm. He tries so hard, so very hard, but he can’t control himself when he begins to struggle, trying to flail and fling this putrid, acrid, demonic substance off of him. It is all in vain, however. The slime only seems to grow heavier across his shoulders and hands and arms and elbows and he can’t breath he can’t his mouth it ain’t working he ain’t working he’s gonna drown, this shit is going to drown him and there is nothing that he can do about it. Nothing.

Only briefly does it cross his mind that this is where he belongs, this is what he has done to himself. There's a reason he's going to be drowned in slime. There's a reason that the slime binds him.

But does this stop him? No. No it doesn't. The boy’s spasms are dotted with periodic shouts and screams of terror, sounds of agony and sorrow.

It’s pathetic.

Strazio Rockwell, the Blood Mage of Rage steps into the light from behind his veil of shadows.
