Ash wakes up from laying on the ground in the sleep he was put in from the potion that the wise man gave him. "Man what a sleep. Wait a minute? What is this place? I don't remember drinking the juice here." said Ash getting off the ground by standing up while wobbling a bit. "Seriously where the hell am I?" said Ash having his left on his forehead looking like he has a headache.
Quote:“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”
"Gah! Who said that?!" said Ash looking around in the void of darkness with a bit of fear on his face from the booming voice. "What do you mean this isn't the world I know? I have a job and a real life I need to live. Listen pal, you better take me back to my time because I swallowed the juice and said the fancy-shmancy words I was told to say!" yelled Ash in a unhappy tone back at Omni still looking around where that voice is coming from. He sees something starts to glow in front of him which was Omni showing his appearance. "You got a lot of balls to show yourself in front of me." said Ash annoyed about the situation. Omni doesn't react to Ash's attitude instead handing him the infamous colorful glimmering orb of Omnilium to the new prime.
Quote:“This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.
This changes Ash's Attitude what Omni gave to him. The undead killer examines the orb in his hands and has a confused look on his face. "I appreciate the gift but you did say that I can get anything I desire?" said Ash looking back up at Omni.
Quote:“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn. "
"Hay! Are you listening to me?" said Ash frustrated at Omni not answering his question. "What your giving me immortality too. Well if it ain't christmas morning then." said Ash smirking at what Omni said to him. "The Omni-whaterever it is you gave me can bring me back home right?" said Ash raising his brow at Omni hoping he can get straight answer instead of being ignored this time.
Quote:“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”
"Wait a minute now are you going to answer my questions or what?" remarked Ash then he sees Omni fading away also darkness starts to fade away too. "You better not leave me! Your making a big mistake man!" yelled Ash back at the disappearing Omni and doesn't see him anymore. Ash finds himself in the whiteness evironment next to one of the symbols of the Omniverse, the fountain. "Fuuuuuuuuuuck." said Ash with disappointment. "Wait a minute, He said I can desire anything with that orb he gave me." said Ash pulling out the Ominilium and looks down at it.
"It's ok, all I got to do is desire to go home. C'mon now take me back to my time. Just please take me back to normal life!" said Ash raising the Ominilium in his hands. Nothing happened for two minutes while Ash was still in the same position. His facial expressions turned from a hopeful look to an angry/annoyed look. "Fuck this then!" yelled the chainsaw wielder throwing the ominilium to the ground in frustration. "I guess this is my fate, trapped in this nothingness with this useless fountain. Why me!" said Ash falling to the ground on his knees next to the fountain and starts beating the fountain with his right metal prosthetic hand having his head down on the side of the fountain.

The harsh sunlight assaulted Jim the second he passed through the portal into the Endless Dunes.
Raynor clutched his C-14 gauss rifle in warming steel hands and strode out into the savannah. His visor hissed upwards, removing his facial protection from the sun but at least letting the air flow, however slowly, through his suit. There wasn't much to see; clear sky, patches of thin grass occasionally broken up by the odd tree, its canopy thick and splashing shade over the ground. A warm day, but the humidity made it worse. Even with the visor up, Jim felt his entire body perspire, layering swiftly with a sheen of sweat. He considered ditching his armour, but it wasn't exactly portable if he wasn't in it.
Perhaps 'the Endless Dunes' wasn't the smartest destination, now that he thought about it.
There weren't many places for a malcontent to hide in, but Jim held his weapon just in case. Ambushes were part and parcel of waging war in his sector of the galaxy; the zerg had a nasty tendency to burrow under the ground and lie in wait, bursting out just as a man walks over them, and the protoss love their cloaking and warp technologies, able to reveal or teleport in an army before you even know you're not alone. Jim couldn't know if he'd encounter such familiar hostiles this far from home, but it never hurt to be prepared for it.
"Adjutant," Jim said, his curved visor clicking into place again. "The lay of the land, if you please."
Raynor expected to see a map of the immediate area, maybe some highlighted points of interest, even some close-up images of landmarks he was approaching. Instead, the adjutant's face burned blue through the orange of his visor. "No satellite communications possible. CMC-400 scanning instruments off-line."
"Off-line? What do you mean, damaged?"
"Yes, Commander. They appear to have shut down after significant impact trauma. Cause unknown."
"Then just pull the info from that datanet you hooked into before. Should be easy enough."
"Unable to connect to datanet. Connection refused."
Jim chuckled without humour. "Wonder what else I've got to look forward to out here."
As he trudged deeper into the realm, he found his metal feet following a path beaten by the dozens of feet that scored it through the grass. A splintered and faded sign a little way down the track informed Jim he was heading to 'Carrefore,' but it wasn't much to look at. A number of armoured men with menacing rifles, though they had nothing on Jim's 'Impaler,' looked his way as his foot stepped through the entrance to the town. Two motioned at Raynor and approached him.
"Halt!" one said.
Jim took one last step, the pistons and joints of his armoured legs clicking into place. His visor, orange with a white skull painted on its front, was still down. "Can I help you, gentlemen?"
"Just what are you doing here?" the other asked.
Raynor lifted the visor. "Just a man figurin' things out. Not too sure where I am, frankly. Maybe you'd be so kind as to-"
"You can't be walking around here carrying that," the left guard said, gesturing at Jim's C-14 cradled in his hands. "It's against Empire regulations."
"Plus that suit," the other chimed in. "That's gonna need clearance as well."
"Forgive my ignorance," Jim said, "but Empire? Regulations?"
One of the guards sighed, though with the faces hidden, Jim didn't know which. "I don't have time to be teaching newbies how the Omniverse works. Either hand over your hardware or you'll be forced to move on."
Jim looked at his gauss rifle, then at the guards. "Sorry fellas, but if you think I'm givin' this ol' girl up, you got another thing comin.'"
"Then leave," the other said. "Or we'll be forced to apprehend you."
Jim squinted, sizing up his aggressors. He could probably deal with them without much trouble; after all, the CMC-400 could punch through concrete, and at this range, the C-14 would probably punch a few holes through them too. Still, no point in making enemies when he didn't have to. Maybe there'd be more friendly people somewhere else.
"You won't have any trouble with me," Jim said, his smile born of appeasement rather than happiness. "I don't suppose you folks'd be kind enough to point me in another direction? Somewhere with a bar?"
The guards glanced at each other, then turned back. "There's a town further into the Endless Dunes. Not a short walk, but you should get there all right."
Jim nodded and his visor slipped down, revealing the skull again. "Much obliged."
The sparse tufts of grass fled from the landscape not long after leaving Carrefore behind. Heat bled in blurred waves from the sand that took its place, cooking him in his CMC battle armour. His particular suit, the CMC-400 model, didn't feature anything like air-conditioning, though none of the marines enjoyed anything so fancy. Jim had heard that some of the wealthier and favoured siege tank operators employed by the Dominion often had cooled cabins. What he'd do to be driving in one of those right now.
Scorching day soon abated as the sun sunk beyond the horizon. Stars revealed themselves through the velvety curtain of night, and Jim found himself staring up at them. It was a sight he'd grown accustomed to on the Hyperion. On countless planets over countless conflicts, every evening he could gaze into the gallery of twinkling lights and remember, even when his strength was down and hope a scarce commodity, that feeling that unequivocally rose to the surface as he stood on the bridge of the battlecruiser. He would look around at his diligent crew, who had sacrificed a chance at a normal life to give others a chance at theirs, and know that Raynor's Raiders had a job to do.
And then as now, no matter how he had ended up in his mess, no matter how tough the journey home, he would prevail. He just had to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
He smiled to himself. "Raiders roll."
What heat the sand had stockpiled during the day had been given up just as hastily. Jim was thankful for his own body heat insulated in his armour as he battled through the freezing winds that howled over the dunes, though it might not be enough. Raynor had marched through icy tundra before in marine armour and lived, though a few times he caught a cold and even hypothermia. This type of cold - night desert cold - had a bite just as bad as those frozen mudballs. He had to find some sort of shelter for the night.
The wind brought new tidings other than numbing chill. Voices, shouting frantically but too far away to be distinct, met Raynor's ears. The unmistakable rattle of gunfire blended with it. Jim increased his speed, ignoring the fatigue weighing him down. If those were his men, he had to come to their aid as soon as humanly possible.
Jim crested a sand dune and orange light flashed in time with the deep rumble of gunfire. Through the brief illumination, Raynor made out two worn humvees parked side-by-side and armed men poking above them before rattling off a burst of bullets. Looking beyond the conflict, a small town, nondescript except the fact that it was the solitary settlement this far out in the sandy wasteland, sat in the gunfire's direction.
Mercs was the likely situation. Dark had fallen, and using the cover of night and a pair of old cars while they assault the local law enforcement, whatever that might look like in such an isolated place, was a tried and true strategy. Unoriginal perhaps, but it's hard to argue with results.
Raising his C-14's sights to his eye, Jim strode forward. It wasn't his style to shoot a man in the back if he could help it. But with no cover and a powerful tiredness taking up residence in his bones, he was less inclined to give out warnings.
Jim pulled the trigger and a spray of bullets screamed from his rifle. He caught one bandit in the back and another in the leg before the rest reacted and scrambled around the sides of the humvees. The four spotlights on his chest erupted with white light, damning any counter-fire to hasty shots that got nowhere near their intended mark.
"Now I'm just gonna say this once," Jim hollered, rifle still levelled. A few heads peeked over bullet riddled chasses, squinting against his high beams. "Get outta here, and don't come back."
The men moved like cockroaches, scooping up discarded weapons and throwing them into their weather beaten vehicles. The two injured bandits crawled into the back seats, and in a few moments, the wheels sprayed sand as the humvees hightailed it out of there. As they zoomed off into the black, they rolled their windows down and hurled insults at Jim, but nothing worse than he'd already heard before by worse men than them.
Raynor approached the outskirts of town, stepping over the red patches soaked into the sand and spent bullet cases. A handful of men emerged from crouching behind damaged walls and chipped wooden crates. They gripped revolvers and pistols, levelled at the ground, though their sharp stares and firm jaws indicated they weren't above using them if the need arose. He hoped the reception here would be warmer than Carrefore.
"What's your business here?" a portly man said, dressed in a stained singlet. A wrong move and Jim had no doubt the next bullet from the man's gun would be for him.
"Lookin' for a spot to rest my head, for starters," Jim said, his visor hissing open. "I've been walkin' all day and this Dunes place ain't too hospitable."
"Is that a fact?" another man said through a thick, pampered moustache. "You new to these parts, stranger?"
"As new as a man can get to hill after hill of sand, I reckon. And the name's Jim. Jim Raynor." He pointed with a metal thumb behind him. "Hope them folk weren't friends. Didn't look like they were."
Another man stepped forward, straightening a faded tan vest. A belt of cartridges slung over his chest jostled as he approached, revolver in a death grip. He was the closest in dress and appearance to a cowboy out of the whole lot of them, as if he was the only man not sleeping when the attack rolled in. The others brushed dust off what looked like their sleeping ware.
"That was a mighty kind thing you did there, Jim," the man said. "You've earned a night here in my books. Come on, I'll take you to a room."
"Much appreciated," Jim said, following the cowboy as the rest of the defenders dispersed, returning to what Jim assumed were their houses. Doors shut quickly and locks fell into place even quicker. "Didn't catch your name."
"I didn't give it. Roland's the name. I'm the sheriff around these parts. Maybe after you've had your rest, we can talk some more."
Jim nodded. "Happy to earn my keep, sheriff. After I knock back a bourbon or two, of course."

Sora ( last name unknown)
Sora is a very strong young boy(estimated 14) chosen to be the key blade wielder and emissary of light. His strength comes from his heart and is amplified by his keyblade(weapon of choice). The keyblade changes form and attributes based on the keychain attached. I will be starting with the kingdom key(base form). Literally a large clyndrical key. Adept at physical, aerial, and magic combat.
Note: right handed
Series: kingdom hearts
There are 11 games in the series and a manga. I will be using the second game as a base for the character.
History: after having failed the mark of mastery exam Sora set off to find Ventus in castle oblivion(speculated). On his way he takes a wrong turn and is summoned to the omniverse.

Keyblade 300
Description above. Has the ability to disappear and reappear in sora's hand.
(Sora's magic eminates from his key blade. Each spell requires a moment( 1 sec or less) of concentration. Sora can cast a spell as long as he is holding that pose).
Figra 300 tech
Holding his keyblade out in front of him horizontally Sora can Creates two rings of fireballs directly around the caster. Both rings have 3 fireballs. The inner ring about softball sized, the outer are his body size. The fireballs spin around him fast enough for a revolution every second. Can dissipate the spell by letting it fade or shooting the rings away from him(this takes more energy).
Thundaga 300 tech
Sora reaches his keyblade toward the sky. The area around him darkens( about 10 meters diameter). From the sky falls a number of lightning bolts( about 8 every second). A more powerful will leave him exhausted if used for more than a few seconds.
Blizzagra 300 tech
Pointing the keyblade at a target. Keyblade fires seven whisps of ice forward in a cone( 2 meters in diameter) [cone does not make a ring, more like a shotgun blast]. If I whisp touches an object/person it encases them in ice. 2 seconds to recharge spell. Whips dissipate after 5 meters if they don't encounter anything.
Relectaga 300 def/tech
By placing the key in front of him and grabbing it with his left hand he creates a large clear color hexagonal barrier(dome shape 2 meters in diameter) around himself from 1 attack(1 strong contact with the shield, can be from multiple sides within a one second window)(does not block super moves). The hexagons struck then release a damaging flash of light equal to the force used up to sora's tech value.

Before I close shop, I just wanted to thank everyone for joining me this (entire damn) summer. It was a pleasure to get to read some of your stuff for either the first time or the first time reading more than like, three posts or so. This was a nice reminder that we have a lot of great writers with a lot of great styles floating around the website.
I hope you'll all join again for whatever we decide to do next summer.
If any participants are interested, you can send this account a private message, and I'll provide you with a detailed opinion on how I perceived your writing and your character. I was going to do this beforehand, but with time constraints, it's best to just focus on whoever really wants to hear it.
Congratulations go out to everyone, and a special holler to Mark/Kakashi/Vincent/Red, who literally was full-on beast mode for like, the entire duration of the event.
From Karl and Alex, thanks again for once again making my summer enjoyable and blood-filled.

| Omniverse Combat League -- Coming Soon(?) |
|

So I plan to oversee the launch of an in-world 'combat league'. My goal/intent is to design it in such a way where people can have quick bouts with fellow writers that are A) non-lethal, B) Non-time consuming, and C) meaningful. Fights in the League will/would be canon, as people would have to pause what they are doing to go beat up people, but travel is provided for in most situations.
Also, the Champion receives a fancy belt and becomes an Omniverse celebrity (with the Recognition [capital R] that goes with it).
Anyway, the information in the quoted text below is non-final. I wanted to post it to people to see if there was interest in this or not, as I don't want to set up something that wouldn't be worthwhile. Read through it and let me know your thoughts and if you would use this as an excuse/reason to (non lethally) throw down with your fellow characters.
Thank you for your time.
Quote:The "Omniverse Combat League” is an inter-verse combat promotion league. They own or lease a variety of areas in each of the main verses, with their central offices located in the Vasty Deep. The ‘League’ is quite popular, as they organize various sanctioned bouts in many of the verses. They are popular in that many of their fights were styled for local crowds. They also own a Dataverse streaming service where people can stream their fights from the comfort of their homes or their mobile data device. Their popularity has made the business quite lucrative, and they have recently placed their aim at expanding their popularity to make themselves the premier combat league.
As a result of their hopes at expansion, the League has created a whole new bracket, entirely for primes, with the leader being crowned the promotion’s Omniverse Champion. The reigning Omniverse champion would receive a generous stipend, as well as revenue from endorsements, merchandise, and any public appearances they may make.
So how does it all work?
The organization, despite owning lots in various verses and a small central office, is primarily a dataverse entity. They host a website with brawler profiles and the overall rankings of the ‘prime division’.
FIGHT YOUR WAY UP
Fighters may challenge any other fighter in the league. If the lower ranking fighter wins, they take the higher rank, and bump the loser down one rank. Challenges are done both OOC and IC (probably through the Dataverse, unless you're super into it). There will be an out-of-character thread, and the earliest posted challenges will be honored first. Once a challenge is accepted, a date is decided to give individuals time to sort things out. Travel can be provided by League personnel. If a character refuses a challenge (or no shows), they automatically forfeit (exceptions to people who have posted going on leave). A character who has just finished a challenge is free from being challenged for a period of 2 weeks.
FIGHTS
Fights can be held in any of the League's various properties. If your prime has been to the League's HQ, they can even simply be 'callbacked' there at their convenience. Otherwise, contestants can determine their battle area and what it looks like.
Prior to starting a fight, make sure you select a judge. A judge may be anyone except the Champion/Number-1 Contender of the League. Both parties must agree on a judge.
Fights in the League are non-lethal. Killing or banishing another prime will result in the same punishment being dealt out by League security. Non-Championship fights in the League follow the same basic format:
Word Limit: 600
Posts Per Player: 2
Time Limit: 48 hours
Random Elements: Off
Damage Meter: Off
Because these matches cannot result in the death of your prime, there is no extending deadlines.
Judges should have all fights graded within twenty-four hours. A judge is only to say who won. If they wish to later provide written up critiques/scoring, they may do so. The key here is not to have the fights or judgment drag on forever.
Number 1 Contender
Number 1 Contender is a position just below that of the champ. To challenge to become the No1 Contender, a player must be ranked in the top 3 of the League. Like a championship match, the current number 1 contender cannot deny a challenge without losing their status. The Number 1 contender is guaranteed a match against the champion after being Number 1 contender for at least 2 OOC weeks OR if they’ve defended their contender status against one challenger. If the No1 Contender loses their match against the champion, they will drop down 3 spots and be replaced by whoever has the most wins.
The Champ
The Champ is the face of the prime division. They own the championship belt. Being champion of the League grants that individual the Recognition bonus in the form of endorsements and other events. The Champion does not need to compete in non-championship bouts (but they can), although it is mandatory that the Champion defends his belt against any Number 1 Contender challenges. Failure to accept or show up for a title match will result in the Champion being stripped of his belt, losing all the privileges of being Champion. A stripped Champion must return the belt or a Bounty will be placed against them.

http://daceria.deviantart.com/
^ Here it my Deviant so you guys can look through and see what various types of artwork I have done in the past.
A little about me- I the writer behind Andyra never thought I would be an artist, well at least not a good one but after I became a professional writer and was working on getting my first novel published, I realized how much cheaper and easier on me it would be to do my own artwork. Also a girl named Jessie who was a really talented manga drawer said this to me after I said I wished I could draw like her.
"Practice." and that inspired me to pick up materials and start drawing. I'm not really proud of the first drawings that I ever did but I'll never forget that if I hadn't tried I wouldn't have got to where I am today. I've been drawing for over 7+ years now, and I feel like I've learned so much in all that time and I feel my art has improved drastically. I have never actually went about doing something like this before because I wanted to wait until I felt I was ready to take this next step. Now if you have hany questions for me I will be more than happy to answer them here or in a Private message but ultimately I am looking for commissions for Drawing of characters, I wll also offer to do signatures if you have an idea in mind. Always always be detailed in your descriptions of your character so that I may draw them properly and not misrepresent the character.
Now here is my price guide. And I'll put an example if I can for each one to save you some time.
$5 for an outlined/sharpie sketch of a character (from waist up.) or a Chibi outlined and colored. Madotsuki had a lot to think about following the incident.
Deep down, she felt a little guilty. If she were living with the Night Terror, she could've kept her safe. But now it was over, and Madeline had the scars to prove it-- two long claw marks across her right eye, according to a picture she sent a few days ago. It was a miracle she could still see out of that eye. Although she looked more intimidating with the newfound injuries, it just didn't fit her; she was surprisingly friendly for a gangster. Sure, that helped out when they were forming ties between other groups, but the dreamer felt that it would make it more likely to get her stabbed in the back. She didn't seem like the kind of person who'd even join a gang in the first place. Maybe she could ask her next time they met in person? Certainly not over the phone-- Madeline hadn't been very talkative as of late; she'd send a message to her each day to tell her she was okay, but after that, she just clammed up. Could you really blame her though?
She hadn't heard anything about Sabitsuki and Errol, although that was to be expected. After all, she had tried to kill the former twice. They weren't bothering her though, which she took as a good sign. Maybe that temporary truce she had formed during the kidnapping incident was more permanent than she thought? She wasn't particularly fond of the monstrous albino, but she didn't want to be on her bad side.
With those thoughts out of the way, she returned to the news-hologram in front of her. One article mentioned that the "F-Zero Duo Races" were happening this week, but the article that caught her eye went something like this:
"BREAKING NEWS: An attorney in Tier 3 by the name of Dewey Chet has been brutally murdered in his own businessplace. Around 3:00 AM, the alarms were set off in the victim's workplace. By the time the police arrived, the building was a mess and the victim's barely-recognizable body was found. The cameras, unfortunately, were destroyed and cannot be used for evidence."
Before she could read into it further, she heard someone trying to unlock the door. She turned to it, waiting in anticipation for whom was probably her roommate. The door opened, and in stumbled Hiro, his hakimachi torn to shreds. Without a moment of hesitation, she grabbed the samurai by the hand and led him to the couch.
"Are you okay?" she asked telepathically, backing into the kitchen. "You look like you got into a fight with a hurricane and lost. You need anything? Tea? A blanket? What on earth happened out there?"
