New character - Sora - 08-26-2016

Sora ( last name unknown)
Sora is a very strong young boy(estimated 14) chosen to be the key blade wielder and emissary of light. His strength comes from his heart and is amplified by his keyblade(weapon of choice). The keyblade changes form and attributes based on the keychain attached. I will be starting with the kingdom key(base form). Literally a large clyndrical key. Adept at physical, aerial, and magic combat.
Note: right handed

Series: kingdom hearts
There are 11 games in the series and a manga. I will be using the second game as a base for the character.

History: after having failed the mark of mastery exam Sora  set off to find Ventus in castle oblivion(speculated). On his way he takes a wrong turn and is summoned to the omniverse.

Moves
Keyblade 300
Description above. Has the ability to disappear and reappear in sora's hand.
(Sora's magic eminates from his key blade. Each spell requires a moment( 1 sec or less) of concentration. Sora can cast a spell as long as he is holding that pose).
Figra 300 tech

Holding his keyblade out in front of him horizontally Sora can Creates two rings of fireballs directly around the caster. Both rings have 3 fireballs. The inner ring about softball sized, the outer are his body size. The fireballs spin around him fast enough for a revolution every second. Can dissipate the spell by letting it fade or shooting the rings away from him(this takes more energy).
Thundaga 300 tech

Sora reaches his keyblade toward the sky. The area around him darkens( about 10 meters diameter). From the sky falls a number of lightning bolts( about 8 every second). A more powerful will leave him exhausted if used for more than a few seconds.
Blizzagra 300 tech

Pointing the keyblade at a target. Keyblade fires seven whisps of ice forward in a cone( 2 meters in diameter) [cone does not make a ring, more like a shotgun blast]. If I whisp touches an object/person it encases them in ice. 2 seconds to recharge spell. Whips dissipate after 5 meters if they don't encounter anything.
Relectaga 300 def/tech
By placing the key in front of him and grabbing it with his left hand he creates a large clear color hexagonal barrier(dome shape 2 meters in diameter) around himself from 1 attack(1 strong contact with the shield, can be from multiple sides within a one second window)(does not block super moves). The hexagons struck then release a damaging flash of light equal to the force used up to sora's tech value.
Powers
Basic super jump 300

RE: New character - Sora - 08-28-2016

What kind of proficiency/powers would I need to run on walls?

To use a spell like stop from the series, would I need time manipulation or is it assumed?

Does gliding count as flight or could I use it as a conditional ability(like outside of combat) using fairy dust and happy thoughts?

Would you like some images to help?

RE: New character - Mark - 08-29-2016

Keyblade: Can you describe this further, especially the dimensions and perhaps an image?

Figra: I’m a little confused about what this move does. When you say the rings of fireballs revolve around the caster, are the fireballs themselves the size you state? Asking because it they were in a ring the size of a softball they would pretty much clip through Sora’s body or something.
  • How damaging is being hit by this?
  • How long does this take to cast?
  • How fast do the fireballs move when launched?
  • What’s the range they cover when launched?
  • Can this be used while moving or would it require him to stand still?
  • Does this require concentration to maintain?
  • How draining is this on his stamina?
  • Do the fireballs have a duration for floating around Sora or is it as long as he maintains the spell?
  • Can this be used with other moves?
  • If you’re wanting both uses of this, the move will run you 600 OM

Thundaga:
  • What’s the cast time on this?
  • Can this be used while moving?
  • Does this require concentration to maintain?
  • Can this be used with other moves?
  • With the area this this move covers you will need Area Attack Proficiency

Blizzaga:
  • How big are the wisps?
  • How fast do the wisps move?
  • When you say encased in ice, do you mean their entire body or just the place where they’re struck?
  • How long does this take to cast?
  • Can this be used while moving?
  • How much concentration does this require?
  • How draining is this on his stamina?
  • How long is the foe frozen?
  • Can this be used with other moves?
  • You’ll need Debuff Proficiency for this.

Reflectaga:
  • How long does this take to cast?
  • Can this be used in motion?
  • Does this require concentration to cast/maintain?
  • How draining is this on his stamina?
  • Does this have a duration as well or does it just persist until struck?
  • Can this be used with other moves?
  • If you want the shield to be able to damage your foe, you’ll need to pay 600 for the move. The damage done would be based on your ATK stat, rather than your TEC stat.

Depending on what you want to do with these moves you’ll need to either rework them or maybe save some for later due to Powers and Proficiencies they’d need. Feel free to make any changes and reply here when you’re ready for another look.

Wall-running can be accomplished with a high enough SPD stat. Your current value of 2 would allow you to do so for short distances.

Yes, a Time Stop ability would require Time Manipulation and a Move.

Gliding/slow falling from the top of a jump is something you can do with a move. You wouldn't need Flight.

Images for your moves would be helpful if you can provide them.
