HEY HI HELLO OMNIVERSE!!
So... it's been some time, right? Some of you dudes may have seen me lurking/browsing already if you were quick enough to catch my name at the bottom of the page for the brief timings it might have been there, but I haven't popped up in the chatbox or anything hahaha. Lots of new faces in there that've came in over the last year and half I've been inactive for :woah:
Speaking of new faces... to those of you who don't know me/of me (which I guess is the majority of you dudes unless you were here wayyyyyyy back in about 2015) then wasgud; my name behind the screen's Harrison, but everyone in the Cbox just calls me by Jon whenever I'm in there so you guys might as well just call me that too found this wonderful little corner of the Internet all the way back in February of 2015 and I wrote/RPed on here for quite some time. I participated in the very first incarnation of Dante's Abyss on here (DA 2015) and seen it all the way through to finish... 7th, in the end? Maybe 17th - my memory's sort of foggy concerning those times lmao. Anyway, right after DA I picked up a really, really bad case of writer's block and I couldn't sit down and write for shit, plus IRL responsibilities and duties started to become more prevalent and important in my life. So I sort of just took off from this place quietly, only really popping back in every now and then to chat with some of the guys...
So God knows why it's taken so long for me to surpass this back, but I feel like I'm steadily finding the time and willpower to start writing again. So expect a steady return from me soon-ish (the writing gears are very, very rusty rn) but not as Jon sadly - as much as I'd love him and sort of want to continue writing as him, I feel as though he's been 'out of the loop' for so long that I feel I'd just be awkward and weird at this point to try and incorporate him back into the Omniverse, and I feel like I just wouldn't be able to embrace the character properly again whilst I'm also busy picking up the pieces and tying up the loose ends of his story post-DA, where he's been and what he's been up to and all that. I've got a character on the way that has much, much grander ambitions and goals than Snow ever did, and he's someone who might cause a bit of a ruckus - gonna keep who and what he is quiet for now though but you guys will see :derp:
Expect to see me chilling more a lot more in the Cbox until I put my switch app out there - happy RPing dudes!

Subject: Date Plans
So yeah, we got matched on oHarmony a while back. Unfortunately, I might have to postpone that for a while, turns out this adventure I'm going on just will not end. Damn treasure doesn't want to be found, but gave up too much along the way to just call quits. Ya know how it is.
After I'm done treasure hunting, we'll definitely do the date thing, I mean, if you want to. I'll even go in my adult form so it feels less like an episode of "To Catch a Predator."

Quote:Feel free to make up your own stories. They may or may not have happened, but then again, this is a reddit story sharing dealie.
The legend, the hero, the criminal, the vasty had long been hit with murmurs of the existence of the Afro Pirate, a feared swashbuckler who's chest hair was as bushy as his fro. Little proof exists that he even ever walked the Omniverse to begin with, well outside the tales that have been shared online.
Do you have any stories? Please share below to keep the legend alive!

So, I pitched this idea in the shoutbox earlier, and a few people seemed interested in playing a game. So, I'm going to take a shot at running one, and see how it goes. Assuming people want to play.
If you want to play, let me know down below. I need at least seven people, but I'll put the cap at fifteen so that it doesn't become a crazy huge amount of people.
Crazy idea for the staff on the site: Maybe would could reward the winners with like 10 OM or something? If not, just play to have fun.
Roles will be as follows:
Serial Killer (1)
An independent killer. Wins when every other player is dead.
Godfather (1)
Mafia member. Decides who the mafia kills each night. Wins when all town members are dead. Can not be killed at night.
Mafioso (1)
Mafia member. Votes who to kill each night, and if Godfather is afk, who they decide is who will die. This is the mafia member that actually commits the crime, unless the goon is alive. Becomes godfather if the godfather dies.
Goon (1)
Mafia member. Has no mafia influence. Kills whoever the Godfather/Mafioso decides. If Mafioso dies, becomes mafioso. Can not become Godfather.
Medic (1)
Town Member. Can heal other players as many times as they want, but only one per night, and only themselves once. Wins when only town is left
Mayor (1)
Town member. Their vote counts double in lynching, and breaks a tie. Wins when only town is left.
Detective (1)
Town member. Can investigate one person to discover their role each night. Wins when only town is left.
Jester (1)
Neutral Evil. The Jester's goal is to get hung. If the town hangs them, they can kill one person who voted for them to die. Wins if they get lynched.
Town member (7)
Town member. Has no special power. Wins when only town is left.
So, again, if you want to play, leave you're name down below. And, please, register with the character you are going to play as. I don't want to try to keep track of two alts for half the people playing. That just gets confusing D:
Current Players:
1. Chara
2. Miranda Frost
3. Weiss Schnee
4. Marcus Wright
5. Jade Harley
6. Revan Noctis
7. Eric Everstorm
8. Desman Black
9. Jams Bolero
10. Steven Universe
11.
12.

The Tavern's atmosphere was something the pale soldier had grown accustomed to. The thick clouds of cigar smoke clouded the woman's features, leaving her appearing much like a dark spectre drifting in the mists of old. The heavy scent of alcohol in the air seemed to mask her rather metallic scent and the haughty laughter and boasting of the miners, bounty hunters, and mercenaries shrouded the mechanical whirring of the servos and gears in her prosthetic as she reached for the crystal glass full of the all familiar amber liquid she'd been abusing.
The red light of her eye glanced over towards the bounties bulletin. The old flyers pinned to the wall donned both faces familiar and not so familiar, though one in particular struck deep within the confines of her memories. Its true that she had difficulty sorting out the muddled mixture of her past experiences. Memories of multiple worlds contradictory to one another, weaving a chaotic line of time from the recesses of her mind. The disappearance of the Mysterious Nealaphh had drowned her hopes of sorting them out.
However this may be....
One of the faces seemed to have a place in both of her memory lines. Her eye narrowed on the flyer in question and reached out, a single tug of her claw tearing the thick paper from the sheet metal bulletin. The dark sketch dictated a man in a dark coat with a pristine white mask with thin, curved eye slits. The man also wore a ragged wide brimmed hat that covered other features. Though this alone didn't catch Miranda's attention, the name inscribed below the portrait did.
"November Frost", she'd read aloud, yet her voice was nothing more than a whisper when faced with the intense beating of her heart. This name rang synonymous with both of her memory lines. This man held the name of her older brother. This man had once held Miranda's admiration and served as the goal that she would have achieved. Because of him she became strong, but now he was here.... and committing atrocities no less. From what she remembered of him, he held the ability to do what the paper had described.
This man had wiped out North Village, and apparently only one had escaped. Perhaps it would do Miranda well to pay this man a visit.

Character name: Luci
Character source: Original
Character history: Luci is a native of a psychedelic urban dreamscape called Udditi. The Udditi is a plane overlapping the real world that only certain individuals can perceive and exist in, like a radio station that someone can "tune in" to. The Udditi is a trading hub, attracting dreamers, meditating monks, aliens, demons, angels, wizards, drug users, ghosts, and personifications of abstract thought. In the Udditi there are salesmen and waitresses and gangsters and guitarists and saints, just like many other universes. Luci is a Vandal; a reality hacker.
Luci is a sentient painting that walked off her canvas into Udditi. She never met her creator, who spray-painted her on an alley wall, but she thinks she was imbued with some of the artist's spirit. She has a burning drive somewhere between creation and destruction that manifests itself in beautiful but useful Graffiti. She became active in Udditi 'politics', playing games of cat-and-mouse with paranoid Machiavellian absurdists. Luci always aligned herself with the cause of freedom, becoming something of a thorn in the side of the movers and shakers of Udditi. Her brazen disregard for authority was catching up with her.
She might have been lucky that Omni intervened when he did.
Luci was a criminal in Udditi, wanted for stealing state secrets, harboring a known fugitive, conspiracy to commit treason, burglary, trespassing, vandalism, shoplifting, arson, assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, inciting a riot, rioting, harassing a Headquarter Official, sexual assault on a Headquarters Official, narcotics trafficking, and public indecency. She was running with a rough crowd. The Psychedelic Sunshine United Party is considered one of the most dangerous terrorist groups in Udditi, and Luci was one of their key operatives. Her ability to get in and get out of enemy territory quickly and without being seen gave the P.S.U.P. a distinct advantage of other Udditi factions, and they used that advantage to the fullest.
Her notoriety grew, and so did the notoriety of Sunshine. Headquarters (Udditi government) took several Sunshine operatives off the streets, Ripl the Water Nymph got abducted by Sirians (From the Sirius system, not Syria), and Luci's primary contact within P.S.U.P. disappeared without a trace. The day her contact vanished, she tried desperately to find out what was going on. After several tense phone calls from a secure phone booth, she established that a raid had crippled most of the Psychedelic Sunshine United Party, and the various factions in Udditi were hunting down remaining party members. She hung up the payphone, and cried a little.
At the moment Omni chose Luci, she was feeling very alone.
Physical Description: Luci is a pretty young woman, casually dressed in skinny jeans and a threadbare hoodie, her small backpack and sneakers covered in glowing graffiti. Luci herself positively drips with psychedelic energy. The swirling colors that make up her hair and eyes and sometimes her skin pulse with a steady light. Hanging at her waist in a holster is a spraycan.

Stats:
ATK: 1
DEF: 1
SPD: 5
TEC: 3
Starting Proficiencies: Ranged Proficiency – 1000 OM Area Attack Proficiency – 600 OM
Starting Powers: Phasing – 1200 OM
Starting Moves (All pending approval): Paint a Bomb-300 OM; Paint a Door-300 OM; Paint a Rope-300 OM; Paint a Phoenix-600 OM
Paint a Bomb-300 OM- (Requirements: Area Attack Proficiency)- Luci uses her spray can to paint a cartoony icon of a bomb on the ground or wall. It takes Luci three seconds, is about a foot in diameter, and is active when Luci steps away from it. The next person (sentient creature with enough OM to count as a Prim or Secondary) to walk within three feet of the painting activates a moderate concussive blast 10 feet wide. Because the bomb has to be planted, this move has less utility than a standard projectile, so it has a larger area of affect. Luci can only have one Bomb at a time; if she paints a new one, the old one fades away instantly. They also fade after a day. The bomb can be set off by the activation of a Power or Move in its proximity; the bomb falsely registers a 'person'. Also, to the those in the know, it can be defused by simply tossing some water on it.
![[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQbdFs7hHg4dDRf3hagIju...VzvwW_hzAm]](https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQbdFs7hHg4dDRf3hagIjuykA0GAMzf3SXC6M-hzZVzvwW_hzAm)
Paint a Door-300 OM- (Requirements: Phasing)- Luci paints a door (or just a doorknob if she's in a hurry) on a wall that she can open. The door leads to whatever is directly on the other side of the wall. She cannot use this power on walls that are thicker than one foot. She can take other people through these doors, and when she closes them, the wall seals behind her, the picture of the door remaining. It takes Luci two seconds to make a door.
Paint a Rope-300 OM- (Requirements: Ranged Proficiency)- Luci paints a long (15ft) golden rope she can use as a grappling hook. She can make the rope retract or extend at will quickly, about a second. If the rope is fully 'retracted' it disappears. She can do this instantly, while moving. She cannot use this rope directly for combat; for example stealing an opponents weapon.
Paint a Phoenix-600 OM- (Requirements: Ranged Proficiency, Area Attack Proficiency) Luci stands still and paints a magnificent scarlet-gold phoenix that charges and explodes in a fifteen-foot fireball when it hits. It takes her five full seconds of uninterrupted painting, after which she aims her attack. The phoenix explodes on contact, or when it reaches the end of it's range, 80 feet. 'Paint a Phoenix' deals the amount of damage you would expect form a 300 OM projectile but with a wider area of effect.
I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct. Check. Sorry I went to update my post and deleted it, so here it is again.

Quote:Rip Through The White
The sleek, black form of the Deliverator rocketed out of the gate from the Deeps into the stark, pale whiteness of the Nexus. Hiro had his left hand out the window, his brand new firearm loaded and primed, aimed at nothing. Literally. The music formed a sonic shield around their techno conveyance, and Okor was even beginning to bob his head a bit to the loud, cacophonous racket blasting from the car's surround sound speakers. People across the entire Nexus would have heard the din they were making, but the digital daimyo didn't care. He'd missed this car. Ohhh, how he'd missed it.
The last time he drove this car he'd done a chunker right into a dry swimming pool and hit the far wall like a Stuka unable to pull up. The adrenaline had pumped out of his ears as the blood drained from his heart, the whiplash of the impact alllmost as painful as realizing he was never going to drive one of these cars again. Oh, and the crippling debt to the mob he'd incurred. But now he was in the Omniverse. All was well. And he was fucking flooring it across the pearly Autobahn of their new reality.
"So, Okor!" Hiro half shouted above the cacophony emanating from every available speaker, before lowering the music to a more suitable level for conversation. "I feel like out of everyone I've met here so far, it's only you, my roommate, and that Deadpool guy that seem like alright people. I shared something from my world with you, why don't you tell me about where you're from."
The hunched marine was silent for a long moment, running a greasy gauntleted finger across the dashboard and leaving a trail of maroon rust. The seat around him was actually corroding lightly, his presence having an entropic effect on his immediate surroundings. The hacker-ronin was just about to reach for the volume knob and turn the music back up before Okor spoke.
"It is a tale thousands of years old, and...rather complicated. But as a token of mutual cooperation, I will tell you the, ah, short version." His tone was his usual dour timbre, although if it wasn't for the music Hiro would have sworn the marine's voice had grown more solemn.
"What you call Earth is known as Terra in my universe. A being calling himself the Emperor of Mankind united the warring factions during the Dark Age of Technology, and created his sons to wage war on the galaxy with him as the orchestrator of a massive crusade." Hiro made a noise indicating his comprehension, although Okor sounded almost sarcastic while mentioning this 'Emperor'.
"I'm guessing he wasn't such a great guy?" The hacker asked, expecting an answer in the affirmative.
"A tyrant, stuck in the ways of the past. Arrogance and shortsightedness blinded him to the truth of Chaos and the dark gods! Only through embracing the teachings of Nurgle and the Chaos of a vast, empty universe could humanity evolve beyond the chains of submission."
Hoo boy. Okor was quite the preacher. He let the metal man continue on his explanation, noticing Okor's fist clenching and unclenching, lost in the moment and memories of millenia.
"The Emperor's sons saw what their brothers could not. Horus Lupercal, the Warmaster, led a rebellion against half of the Loyalist Legions. The Emperor slew him, but was mortally wounded in kind. Now he sits on a horrid mockery of a throne, rotting, festering, a prisoner of his own undoing. And the Long War is fought across stars and planets, the Corpse on the Throne drawing power from thousands of human souls each day, sacrificed to sustain his broken body."
Okor turned to face Hiro, the hacker letting his attention drift from the featureless plains they were zooming across and letting the autopilot guide the wheel. "Jesus...that's....huh. That's pretty fucked up. And I thought Rife was bad."
The plague marine nodded sagely and finished. "I am Okor Paleblood, 14-4-8-7. Fourteeth Legion, Fourth Company, Eighth Squad, Seventh Marine. Our primarch is Mortarion, and we are the Death Guard. Grandfather Nurgle, the incarnation of nature, god of resoluteness, stoicism, and determination is our benefactor. We wage the Long War to free the Imperium from what it has become. For the benefit of all humanity, to free their shackled souls and let them ascend.
And now I am here."
That was a fair amount to take in. An entire galaxy, consumed by war and conflict. Lotta moral greyness there, but he could understand Okor a bit better now. Shit, he must seem like little more than a babbling toddler to a warrior such as his traveling companion. Christ, what a perspective shift.
"....wow. Thanks for sharing, Okor. I can see why you want to help Darkshire, though. You really do fight for people."
Hiro went silent, the atmosphere a bit awkward as they neared the gate to the Pale Moors. "My story is a lot simpler. Just one planet. A man named L Bob Rife wanted to become something very much like your 'Emperor'. Tried to use that virus to do it, make everyone his mind controlled slaves. No freedom, just obedience. Me and a few friends got involved, and saved the day. And now I'm here. But I like it here. A lot more than my old world. I didn't have any purpose, any ambition. Here, at least? I can make a difference."
Okor coughed once, and gave a slow dip of his helmeted head. "You have the makings of a warrior, young Protagonist. But you allow your pride and fear to limit you. Embrace the fear. Death holds no meaning here. A place like this is strong with Nurgle's influence. A million events can unfold, yet nothing. Truly. Changes. Remember that."
They rode in silence the rest of the way, and the black chariot lassed throughthe heavy stone arch to the Pale Moors.
