Dr. Linda Himes stares slack-jawed in a garage in teir-5 as an Ewok gangster rips apart her luxury Teir-1 hovercraft. The bueatiful blonde scientist cannot seem to find the words, or the moral high-ground, to express her outrage. She knew, on a socially conscious level, that her hovercar could feed any of these destitute people's families for a year. She also knew, on a different kind of socially conscious level, how cute she looked in that fucking car.
"I apologize for the way we have accommodated your belongings," says Chipra the Ewok sincerely. The short, furry alien is wearing a wear of grease stained overalls and welding goggles. "My only justification, and I admit it is wearing thin, is that we are at war."
Another Ewok gangster is rifling through a bag that was taken from the trunk with interest. He pulls out several clips of the incendiary ammo Linda had tossed to Jim in the firefight last night. He also pulls out a glowing blue dagger, a bag full of strange gears, and a circuit board.
As an experimental scientist with level 9 clearance form the Imperial Armory, Linda had quite a a bit of interesting junk in her trunk.
"How am I supposed to get home?" asks the brilliant scientist stupidly as her engine is yanked out unceremoniously.
"I'm sure we can accommodate you," says Chirpa helpfully as he nods towards the half dozen cars in the garage, generally beaten old clunkers still driving on rubber tires. "But I thought you weren't leaving without your assistant? And it does seems she is late."
"I swear to Omni," Linda warns. "If she comes back with so much as a scratch-"
"Have you considered," interrupts the Ewok. "That Chi'Owo is simply 'having fun'? She is young and brilliant, and from you've said she has spent all of her young life dutifully working toward becoming an Imperial scientist. Perhaps she is simply 'wound too tight' as they say, and she's slumming it to let off some steam? Yes, it is a dangerous life we live here in the lower tiers, but would you begrudge her this life experience?"
Linda scoffs. "I never had to run around with criminals and terrorists to have fun."
Chirpa shrugs. "And you ended up following a stolen droid into Teir-5 at night. Does that sound like something a normal, well adjusted Teir-1 scientist would do? To me, it sounds like someone who is becoming more and more disillusioned with the state of society and was pressed to do something about it. Something risky, something adventurous."
Linda is silent.
Satisfied, Chirpa walks over to his workbench on which lies a dented but functional droid. Linda recognizes it as a Droideka, or Destroy Droid. It is certainly impressive that Chirpa had managed to get his hands on such a weapon, even if the Empire considered them obsolete. The destroyer droid is extremely dangerous, able to transform into a smooth sphere and roll quickly along any surface. It could transform again into a kind of tripod mounted with a blaster and deflector shield, although his model didn't appear to have either the gun or the shield. The flaw in the design is it's slow, clunky reflexes and vulnerability to attack from behind. Certainly not effective in urban warfare, Linda thinks.
She watches as Chirpa uses a tiny lightsaber to burn through the droids spinal column, ripping away all the wires and circuitry that make up the 'nerve system' of the droid. She watches carefully as he fuses the glittering spine of the Doombot onto the Droideka. On the other side of the garage, Linda watches as Chripas fellow Ewoks strip out the hydraulics of a b1 standard battle droid and replace it with the hydraulics of her car.
Chirpa is now busily dissecting the plasma cannon of the Doombot, and extracts of of the four rods that make up its power source, the places it in a simple homemade blaster, and starts to attatch it to the Droideka.
"Oh god," Linda says under her breath.
***
A Polywhirl with glides through the streets of Teir-5 in a Cadillac Coup De'ville. There is a Glock on his hip and a blunt on his lip. The sun is on his face, and paranoia is on his mind.

Two female elves are speaking in hushed whispers in the corner of the Westside Knife Ear Warriors gang hideout.
A treehouse built into an inexplicable redwood growing int he middle of Central Park, the gang hideout stands a hundred feet above the ground, accessible only though a complicated series of ropes and ladders and toadstools that if you jumped on made you bounce super high. Vines grew throughout it, with fruits and flowers blooming year round.
The two elves in question are Sunshine and Bloodstain, the newly appointed First and Second Lieutenants of the Westside Knife Ear Warriors, respectively.
Sunshine is a snowy white blonde with big blue eyes and a warm smile. Bloodstain is not.
Bloodstain is a night elf, a violet-skinned breed of elf with glowing eyes and short tempers.
While the rest of their gang, a motley collection of elves and humans, argue about the recent assassination of their President, Sunshine and Bloodstain are already moving forward with their plans.
Luci is the leader of the gang now, like it or not, and they had a job to do.
Bloodstain and Sunshine slip down a vine in the back of the treehouse quietly, and make their way towards Chirpa's garage.

Quote:This is a direct continuation of A New Avatar Arrives.
The voyage took some time. Thanks to Aang's goofing about, it took a bit more time than necessary. About half an hour in, he had tired himself out. The fire rings stopped and instead he looked over Appa's head to the world below. There were a number of smaller villages here and there that looked almost like those found in the Earth Kingdom. In fact, this whole place felt rather like home.
"Should we stop at a small village, or go straight for a big city?"
Lysandra was quick to respond. "Big city! I wanna see a castle! Ooh, maybe I can even buy a pretty dress! ... if I had money, I mean... I don't think they'll take my credit card..." Her what card?
Chakravartin even agreed. "Let us head for the capital. It should be the center of trade, so it will have everything we need." Leave it to Chakra to think about it logically.
"Big city it is then! Common Appa, not much farther!" Not that Aang really knew where he was going. He was more or less following the broader road below. Big roads meant big trade routes, which lead to big cities, right? He could think logically too!
Momo had come to rest upon one of Appa's horns and was peering out with golden eyes towards the world. Every now and then the lemur would chatter, and sometimes Appa would seem to respond with a deep groan-like bellow. The sound of their back and forth lifted Aang's spirits. He had missed Momo.
A thought came to mind... a tidbit of information Chakravartin might like to hear. "Hey Momo... why don't you show Lysandra your loopdy-loops?" Aang made little circles with his fingers, tracing the trick out in the air. Momo chattered back at him before taking off. He waited till the Lemur was distracted and Lysandra was clapping happily at Momo's fanciful flight.
"You might find this interesting... but when we summon people, they aren't ... they aren't the real thing. They are copies... Momo died in my world. Old age... but when I thought about him, I thought about the younger Momo from when I was just thirteen." He let that sit. He hated the thought, but he had brought Momo back from the dead by focusing on his memories of the lemur's youth.
"I don't know how that is even possible... Maybe I created a younger body and pulled his spirit form the Spirit World to fill it... or I just plucked him from some time in the past..." This was a topic Aang had to think about. It was as complex as it was difficult to think about. He had literally brought his pet back to life. It was creepy...
Momo eventually returned, landing on Lysandra's shoulder for a bit of human therapy... also known as a bit of pampering. Lysandra offered a soft peach from one of the bags and Momo happily accepts. It would seem a combination of the wind in her ears and Momo's antics had helped Lysandra tune it out. Or she might have ignored it because of Aang's tone. It did not take a psychologist to know this more than troubled the Avatar.

Aang was on the path to becoming a great Avatar.
Toph had built a school based around a form of Bending she had invented.
Sokka joined the White Lotus as a Master Swordsman and great leader.
Zuko was the Fire Lord that helped bring peace to to the world.
Sakura was a Master Healer and powerful warrior alongside the Avatar.
But there are a few more members of the party...
What happened to dear old Momo?
A Flying Lemur's life expectancy if domesticated is around fifteen years. When he found Aang, Momo was already three years old and considered a young adult. Momo's adventures with Aang were as exciting as they were terrifying, and exhausting through and through. Though Momo was Aang's pet, this was not the life of a Domesticated Flying Lemur.
After the war, Momo stayed with Aang, loyal through and through, even as the rest of Team Avatar slowly departed to tend to their own destinies. As Aang's life drifted away from the thrills of combat and more towards politics, Momo was allowed to live the life of a lazy domestic house pet. Sadly, this had come a few too many years late.
The number of fireballs, the high stress levels and the general harships of being with the Avatar had warn the lemur down. Momo became increasingly lethargic whenever he could, opting to sleep most of the day on the softest pillows. This was of course in between stuffing its face with various nuts and fruits Aang and Katara left around the house for him (in a failed attempt to get the aging Lemur moving about.)
His later years were harder. The poor Lemur lost his ability to fly around ten years old, and his sight at twelve. The sicker Momo became, the more Katara tried to heal him, but she only managed to ease the lemur's old age. Momo passed before his thirteenth year.
SUMMING IT ALL UP!
It goes to show you that not all of the heroes move on to greater things. Momo, the most valued member of Team Avatar, retired after he single handedly (with the aid of the Avatar) brought the Hundred Year War to a grinding halt. After giving Zuko his blessing to rule, the only thing for the Lemur to do was to sit back and relax.
His two servants took good care of him for many years, despite often forgetting where to put his food... When the pains started, Katara worked hard to make them go away. When he couldn't fly anymore, he Aang carried him around just like when he was young. When everything went black? He could still feel his loyal servants petting him. Retired life was very rewarding...

Character name:
Bobby "Baby" Worthing
Character source:
Original
Character history:
Once upon a time in a land not far away at all from you and I, there lived a boy. A 28 year old boy. He never really developed in regards to maturity, and thanks to mollycoddling from his mother, he never really became anything but a manchild, incapable of looking after himself. The majority of his time was spent playing with his collection of cuddly toys, with which he was absolutely obsessed, treating each one as if they were real and sentient. Needless to say, Bobby never really got out much and was entirely dependent on his mother, sheltered from the world and all of it's cruelties. In fact, the only person he ever really had any kind of interaction with was his mother, not venturing outside to make friends, do his own shopping or get mugged by the friendly locals. However, without warning he was one day plucked from this pathetic state by a mysterious being known as Omni...
Physical Description: (originals only)
![[Image: The-40-Year-Old-Virgin1.jpg]](http://www.simbasible.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/The-40-Year-Old-Virgin1.jpg)
Bobby is a slightly younger, skinnier and significantly less hairy version of the man you see above (physically). Standing at 5'6" and weighing barely over a hundred pounds, he can usually be seen in blue jeans and a variety of cat or hug related t-shirts (his favourite being of a cartoon cactus looking sad because nobody will hug it, for it's resemblance to his cuddly toy 'Cuddles The Cactus'). His most recognisable trait isn't actually anything to do with him; In the omniverse, he will be surrounded by his collection of plushies and his pet rock 'Sylvester', all of whom follow him everywhere. He has three favourites, the rest are generic animal plushies.
Major Plushies
(At first only Reginald will be with him, the rest will be introduced shortly after)
Reginald; A teddy bear standing about a foot tall, he is easily distinguished from other teddy bears by his ever-present top hat and monocle, as well as a distinctly gentrified English accent. Despite his upper class origins, he has a distinct hatred of fox hunting. He tends to be sensible, or at least as sensible as you can be in the company he keeps. He can become somewhat exasperated at Bobby's impulsiveness, but feels duty-bound to protect his master/friend to the best of his ability.
Cuddles; A plushie cactus, complete with soft flower pot, fake soil, googly eyes and a smile. Without legs, he primarily moves by hopping around, bending near the base of his torso and springing up to cause movement. He is extremely affectionate and, much like Bobby, doesn't understand why everyone can't just get along. Whilst Bobby hasn't had Cuddles for as long as Reginald, Cuddles is probably his favourite due to his personality mirroring Bobby's, though Bobby is unlikely to ever let Reginald know that. Cuddles meets the world every day with an optimistic outlook and an adorably high-pitched voice.
Sylvester; Sylvester isn't a cuddly toy at all. He is a pet rock that one day Bobby 'adopted' from his garden, on the grounds that just because someone isn't soft, that doesn't mean they don't deserve friendship. He is simply a rock, roughly the size of a video game controller, with a smiley face painted on it in black. Unlike the rest of Bobby's entourage, he is incapable of speech, merely following Bobby around. Clearly this shows Sylvester is at least loyal, but without speech or body language, it is near impossible to determine his personality or what goes through his mind.
Stats: (initial roleplay stats in brackets)
ATK: 2 (1)
DEF: 2 (1)
SPD: 2 (2)
TEC: 4 (1)
Starting Proficiencies: (2600)
Ranged proficiency (1000)
Remote control proficiency (600)
Debuff proficiency (1000)
Starting Powers: (1300)
Basic regeneration (1300)
Starting Moves: (900)
Cuddly Toss (300)
(Ranged Proficiency)
Bobby will repeatedly hurl his cuddly toys at whoever it is he wishes to attack, up to 20 feet but with decreasing accuracy the farther away the target is. His toys will literally queue up to be thrown before returning to him so the move can be used rapidly, but 9/10 of the time this will be extremely weak as everything bar Sylvester is extremely soft, and Bobby refuses to discriminate against Sylvester for his weight and hardness so does not constantly just throw him, the queue system meaning all of his group are treated equally with regards to this attack. This is both inaccurate and horrendously weak, more likely to annoy than hurt in most instances. However, any increase in attack stat will raise the damage proportionally (though it will still be weaker than the attack stat would suggest) by having the cuddly toys equipped with accessories to make them harder, with things such as crash helmets or armour.
Cuddly Charge (600)
(Ranged proficiency, remote control proficiency, 2nd use has debuff proficiency)
Bobby will order his entourage to charge the opponent, with all within earshot running at normal human speed towards the enemy. This first variation of this attack will see the cuddly toys attempt to tackle and pummel the opponent with sheer force of numbers, despite none being particularly strong individually. Unless all of the toys are literally huddled around Bobby, this is impossible to use stealthily as Bobby has to issue the order verbally, and as their general, Bobby merely stands back and watches, not contributing himself to the attack. This is more damaging than cuddly toss (being moderately damaging if all of the toys manage to reach the opponent) as well as more accurate, but as none of his army are weighty, they are quite easy to bat away or send flying, giving the enemy respite. Fast opponents are also likely to evade the attack entirely, and any attempt at pincer attacks to try and get at least one toy to reach the opponent will be significantly weaker, literally normal attack strength divided by the number of toys who completed the attack. They will continue to attack unless ordered otherwise or if Bobby is unconscious or otherwise incapacitated. Bobby cannot move or act whilst the toys continue to attack.
The second variety of this move doesn't see the toys attempt to attack, but simply grab onto the opponent and try to impede their movement. Once they hold on, they no longer need Bobby's full attention and Bobby can attempt to escape whilst the opponent is slowed. The effect is not significant as once again, the toys do not weigh much, but it will usually take time to remove all 10 from themselves (Well, 9. Sylvester can't grab, but may try to trip the opponent. This should be considered part of the slowing effect and not particularly likely to happen, and if it does, inflicts no damage). Naturally, use of this move prevents the use of Cuddly Toss, the latter version for an extended period of time. Bobby can also not move or act at all whilst the toys are still attempting to get a hold of the opponent; he can only resume acting once either all the toys have grabbed on or if he orders the ones who are not yet on to abandon what they are doing. The less toys that are actually holding onto the opponent, the weaker the speed debuff.
Total OM spent; 4800
I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.
Yuppers
Where did you find us? I'll be honest, I can't remember. A while back I made a character, I think it was called David Stephenson? Anyway, I ended up not posting because I was scared of goofing up or accidentally breaking rules or messing up storylines if I joined one, that kinda thing. I just remembered the site from then and thought 'yeah, let's give it a go', this time making my character a lil less complex and more cartoony so writing should flow a lil easier.

It had been a couple days since his initiation, and Bendy was already out and about, occasionally ambushing hapless travelers that had the misfortune of crossing his path. As it turned out, Torinin was a lot more lenient with her orders than the imp had expected; as long as he was doing something for the good of Dracula during his work time, he was free to do whatever he wanted. Boris stayed at the castle, doing whatever servantly things were required of him. While the ink monster was a little upset at the massive amount of time they spent apart, the monsters within the keep had been proving themselves capable of protecting the canine, so he put up with it.
Today had been different. When he awoke from his bed, he found the bird lady herself staring down at him. "What do you want?" he asked, stretching and rubbing his pie-cut eyes.
"This is aaan importaaant mission," she squawked ripping away Bendy's blanket. "You're currently the only one who caaan do it."
The demon sat up straight, excited by the revelation. "Only one, you say?"
Rolling her eyes, the tengu held up a poster. It advertised something called Dante's Abyss. "This... Daaante's Aaabyss haaas caaaught Draaaculaaa's aaattention. He waaants someone to go paaarticipate in this aaand gaaather informaaation about the other competitors. But aaas you caaan see, it's Primes only."
"But what is a Prime?"
"Aaa Prime is someone who waaas brought here by Omni himself. Aaas faaar aaas I'm aaawaaare, you're the only Prime in our army aaaside from Draaaculaaa aaat the moment."
"Aren't you forgetting Boris?"
"You summoned him here. Aaas he never met Omni, he isn't aaa Prime. He is aaa Secondaaary."
Bendy sighed, but quickly recovered once he noticed Torinin glaring at him. "Right. Where do I sign up?"
"The closest sign-up aaareaaa aaappears to be in Daaarkshire, but..."
Neither one needed to say anything to understand why that was a bad idea. "But the Paaale Moors haaas gaaates thaaat leaaad to Caaamelot aaand the Frozen Fields. It saaays they haaave sign-ups in every Verse, aaand since Daaarkshire and Caaamelot aaare on good terms... I suggest getting aaa haaat aaand scaaarf."

Hoping to avoid the wolfpack he discovered earlier, Odin took a slightly different route back to the Nexus Gate. He smelled the bog before he stumbled upon it. When it finally came into view, the ground was already becoming soft under Sleipnir’s hooves. Looking right and left showed that going around was going to take an unknowable amount of time. He couldn’t even tell which direction would be more likely to see the end of the swamp. With a sigh, Odin slowly guided Sleipnir forward onto a patch that looked like it could hold their weight.
After an hour, Odin saw the forest beginning to return to normal in the distance. The creak of a branch caused him to snap his head around. Something big was moving around in the trees above them. It had appeared to be a cross between a big cat and a monkey. He had clearly seen its feet grabbing the branches, but it had long claws as well. Two large canines, like daggers, protruded from its mouth and a prehensile tail helped keep it balanced. The thing had nearly been the size of a horse.
Odin's eyes scanned the trees above him as he urged Sleipnir forward. They didn't make it more than a few feet before his mount slipped. Luckily, all those extra legs kept it from falling and throwing Odin into the foul water. The All-Father jumped down onto a small island and returned his mount to omnilium. He had lost track of the creature in the excitement. Fortunately, it didn't take him long to find it again. It was trying to stay about 15 feet behind him. Two seconds would be all it needed to bound forward and get its jaws around his neck.
Escape wouldn't work because he couldn't move quickly and one slip would be the end of him. Fighting would be difficult as well. The thing could move quickly and easily through the branches and would just avoid him until he was worn out. Waiting was a losing prospect too. The cover of darkness would just make it harder to keep track of. Getting an idea, Odin made sure the creature was in front of him and started summoning some things.
A few minutes later, Odin laid the large basket and rope aside. Then he took the net and cast it out into where the water looked particularly deep. When he pulled it in, it was full of eels, fish, frogs, and other slimy creatures. He opened the basket's lid, dumped everything in, and snapped it shut again. Then he adjusted to make sure the monster was still in front of him and cast out the net back out. It took the better part of an hour, but he managed to fill the container with a writhing mass of animals. Then he tied the rope to the basket's handles and threw one end over a sturdy branch. He hoisted it up and tied the rope off. Slowly he backed away and put distance between himself and his offering.
It didn't take to long for the creature to approach the basket. Odin could see the basket sway as the weight of something heavy lowered itself onto the branch it hung from. Then suddenly, a giant, clawed hand reached down and pulled up the gift. Odin took the opportunity to summon Sleipnir again and cover some ground as quickly as possible.
The next day, Odin came across an open area that appeared to have suffered a recent forest fire. On the edge of the clearing, a woman was crouched down a few tree sprouts maybe 6 inches high. She was shaking her head in clear disappointment. Figuring this was who he was looking for, Odin prodded Sleipnir toward her.

You may have noticed that I've been kind of a ghost the last week or so.
For some reason, the end of the year (school year -- I'm a HS teacher for those who don't know me) has been just a little bit TOO taxing for me. I think it's also because I'm finishing up my Masters right now, which has accelerated my pace of 'teacher burnout.' I'm also going to be moving apartments on the 31st and have a final work evaluation in the next week. It's my crunch time, and unlike last year, I am feeling 3 to 4 times more crunched. I very nearly lost my shit at a coworker earlier this week.
Those who know me know that I take these events very seriously. I'm not going to half-ass this because I don't want a reputation for sloppiness or half-heartededness (I think that's not a real word, my bad).
Because of that, I'm going to push the start date one week ahead to the weekend of the 9th/10th.
The deadline for my final grad school paper is the 9th. The deadline for teaching new content in my classes is June 9th. Essentially, after that date I will be able to relax (for real) as students will be completing end-of-year projects, taking end-of-year exams, and working on grade recovery before the start of summer school.
I apologize for this inconvenience for those of you who may have limited time in the coming weeks/month, but I hope you'll understand.
-Karl/Alex
