It had been a few days since Rogue’s death. Dawn was still having trouble getting over it. She hadn't left her room in all that time and spent most of her time in their crying about the loss of her companion. Today, she had finally gotten out of bed and spent some time on her computer.
That’s when she realized she had a voicemail. It was from Kuzuru. He explained something interesting, and although she had no desire to do anything, he said she would be paid for anyone she killed out there. With a heavy sigh, she starting looking for information on how she could enlist in this competition, or whatever it was. Sign-up’s appeared to be in practically every major verse, even here in the Ashen Steppes.
As stupid as this Dante’s Abyss thing sounded, she respected Kuzuru as a leader and follow his orders. If he wanted her at this competition, then that’s where she would be. Shutting the computer down, she got up from the desk and began to get ready for this. She even modified her regular armor to show off the Blade’s insignia and represent them. Black armor with a face mask and a hood, the Ashen Blade’s emblem painted on the breastplate. After gathering her numerous weapons, Dawn set off for the gate to the Nexus, where the Syntech operation was supposed to be. They had her fill out some form with her information on it, which she finished as quickly as possible. Formalities were annoying.

So I'm done with my grad school class. By the end of today, I'll be done with teaching (still in school, but my school has a mandatory week of credit recovery before grade deadlines).
I'll be around tomorrow morning to take care of some final book-keeping stuff with Dante's Abyss. Try and answer any of the remaining questions in the question thread and the handful of PMs I have. Registration goes through a few days into next week before we start.
As I've said before, I'm looking forward to it, and I hope yinz are as well.

Character Name: Toshinori "All Might" Yagi
Character Source: My Hero Academia
Character History: In a world where four out of five people obtain super powers by the time they're four, Yagi was one of those unlucky few without a "Quirk" to call his own. However, he attracted the attention of Nana Shimura, a superhero using a power called "One For All". One For All was an ability that constantly stored power, allowing the user to increase their strength, speed, and durability to superhuman levels. However, what made it unique was that it could be passed from one person to the next, carrying with it all the power that had been stored by the previous users.
Nana recognized Yagi as her successor, and began training him in use of One For All, passing on the ability to him and making him the eighth user. Nana died soon after passing on her power, and Yagi took her legacy as a smiling hero, and became known as the hero: All Might.
His enormous strength and heroic spirit quickly made him the number 1 hero in Japan, and he came into conflict with the villain known as All For One, the antithesis of his own strength. In their battle, Yagi managed to stop All For One from conquering Japan, but he himself was brutally injured in the process. Due to his injury, and the surgeries that followed, Yagi lost access to his full power, weakening drastically, and only able to access the power at all for a few hours each day. Recognizing his own need to find a successor, he passed on his ability to a child named Izuku, who like him, had the soul of a hero, but was born without a power to call his own.
Izuku passes the entrance exam for U.A., the same superheroics school that All Might went to when he was younger, and begins training the use of One For All. The first semester comes and goes, and over the break, Izuku and the rest of his class attend a field trip to a boot camp to further train their own powers. Unfortunately, a student, his protege's rival, is kidnapped from the event- the kidnapper? Minions of All For One, who intends to make a last stand.
All Might joined forces with the other top heroes of Japan, and attacks All For One's base, intent on rescuing the child from his oldest nemesis. The two fight, and All For One has pulled out all the stops, using the last of his strength to try and defeat All Might, All Might doing the same. In the end, he is just barely victorious, but as he feels the last embers of the power he had gifted Izuku fade from his body, he finds himself no longer in Japan, instead, facing Omni.
Physical Description: All Might is an extremely tall and muscular man with blonde hair and a square jaw. His hair sticks up prominently in two spikes, appearing as a V above his head. He wears a red white and blue costume, taking inspiration from American heroes of the Silver Age. He has turquoise eyes with black sclera. When in public, he almost never stops smiling.

ATK - 4
DEF - 2

TEC - 1
Starting Proficiencies: Physical Strength (1000 OM), Area Attack (600 OM)
Starting Powers: Master Super Jumping (800 OM) Super Speed (1000 OM) Master Acrobat (400 OM)
Starting Moves:
DETROIT SMASH - 300 OM - Super Speed, Physical Strength, Area Attack
All Might punches forward with enough speed and force that the impact creates an explosive shockwave. When punching an object, such as the ground, or a wall, cracks will first radiate from his punch, and then explode outwards, destroying about everything within five feet of the impact point, most intensely directly in front of his fist, and the force dissipating as it gets further away. When simply punching liquid, there will be a huge dip in the water at the point of impact, and two seconds later the water will rush back with explosive force to refill the hole. When punching air, the shockwave takes the form of a massive rush of air-pressure, blowing away anything that weighs less than two hundred pounds for five feet around his fist.
The air-pressure wave takes on the general form of an egg-shape, extending five feet from his fist, with the narrowest point coming from his fist and getting wider as the shockwave continues.
The actual destructive effect is less than that of a bomb, but significantly more than a regular punch.
Pulling his fist back takes about a second, but the punch itself is augmented with super speed, his fist shooting forwards in an instant. However, it takes about three seconds for the shockwave to reach its full size and another two seconds for the destructive power to dissipate. Doing the punch leaves a strain on his arm, and so he will need about a minute of rest for each arm before he attempts it again.
Using both arms at once has about the same affect as using just one arm, except there will be two points of highest destructive power rather than just one.
The punch is somewhat exhausting to use multiple times in a row, and he will need an hour recovery time after using DETROIT SMASH five times in close succession.
In order to use the move to its full effect, he must concentrate briefly, and be standing still. If he's attempting a DETROIT SMASH, but he is distracted or moved suddenly, he will simply do a regular punch, having lost concentration.
He is able to do two DETROIT SMASHes at once, but he is unable to use any other type of move, due to the focus on the precise way he's using his powers.
Power Up:
110% ONE FOR ALL - 1000 OM
Red electric light crackles across All Might's body as he calls on the well of power granted for him by One For All, grabbing and utilizing more strength than his body can normally handle.

“Well, THAT wass embarrasssing...” I grumble irritably. “I wassn't expecting the bitch to be sso... tenacciouss.”
In the pitch black of the prison cell they'd thrown me in, I tested the manacles holding me in place against the cold, stone wall. Yeah... figures they wouldn't give. After the little show I put on at the Gate, they probably weren't about to take any chances. I sigh, and continue speaking to my companion.
“You know, I'm ssupposssed to be thiss perfect thing. Popss handcrafted my genome from the greatesst warriorss of the universse. Then I get dragged here and now I'm barely sstrong enough to kill a handful of damn humanss before they take me out. You undersstand how frusstrating that iss?”
Silence is my answer, but I continue on anyway.
“Yeah. I ssupposse you do. After all, you're here too. I bet you didn't exxpect to get thrown in a ccell either. Like me, you probably thought it wass all good. Kill a few human, abssorb their ssweet, ssweet juiccess and try to figure out how to reach your perfect form. Eassy peassy. But then ssome bitch showss up and you think, 'Oh. Thiss ain't nothing. I was dessigned to kill GOKU for Kami'ss ssake. Ssoldier chick should be a push-over. Only she ain't a pushover. Hell, I probably could took her out anyway, but damned if I didn't underesstimate her. I guesss I can't blame anyone but mysself for that one. Shoulda known better.”
I turn my head in the darkness and look at my companion, my beak breaking into a facsimile of a smile.
“Though, at leasst I ssaw that they have ssome good... cuissine here.”
I laugh, the sound echoing in the darkness and sending some rats scurrying away to their holes.
“You know what, pal? Anyone ever tell you you're a good lisstener?”
The skeletal corpse chained beside me again gives me silence as his answer.

As the title says, I'd like to request a storyteller's assistance for the faction quest. To be a bit more detailed, I don't need a constant back-and-forth type partner, but when it comes to the major events, such as speaking to and acquiring the quest (whatever it may entail) and turning it in. As well as the selection of a master for Aang, and all that jazz.
I intend to a bulk of the legwork on my own, I just need a trustworthy compass to point me in the right direction! I'm fully fine with hammering out details before, then having the Storyteller NPC Aang during the quest giving for a single lump post, then again at the end for a grand total of two posts.
Ideas on a quest (if I may may offer them) are simply for something that might take a little while, some effort, a bit of thinking, and a sprinkle of combat! Maybe a trip into the Astral Realm (being Aang has already acknowledged Koh's existence, and... somewhat met the Beast.)

Darkness, old friend. It made Little Ghost feel at home, resonating with the Pulse of Nothing in his chest. The pulses, their steady beat was both familiar and alien. A dissonance only alleviated through useful Soul. The Void is all encompassing. Images of a broken field in darkness. And then, CONTRAST!
A silhouette against the black. A grin. Words. And then an orb. It glimmers in a way wholly different from that of Geo, or even the Pale Ores. But it is also similar. For here lies the shine of possibility, the promise of future infinities unbound. More words, but Little Ghost only paid them cursory notice. Omnilium, what a wondrous thing...
The silhouette was leaving now, it had made that much understood. Omni. It was a name. Little Ghost had things to ask but could not summon the energy to move, and in muteness alone nothing is communicated.
Darkness, void, and then Light. A soothing pale glow, not the Searing Radiance of half-remembered beginnings, cut through the Void.
A fountain, surrounded by a vast plain of white. A huge fountain.
Little Ghost sat up and looked around, a bubble of white appearing above his head with a single symbol in it.

Character name: Isaac Clarke
Character source: Dead Space
Character history:
In the far distant future, the Planet Earth was on the verge of extinction. Humans had sucked the Earth dry of all possible resources, leaving the land barren and unable to support the increase of human population. Those few that were still alive all collectively realized that their only hope for survival laid in the cosmos, on other planets. To save the human race, they had to go to other planets and mine them for their resources.
That is where the CEC, or the Concordance Extraction Corporation, came in. It was a public trading company and one that heavily specialized in deep space mining and exploration. Using their resources, they built a ship that went on to arguably save humanity from extinction: the USG Ishimura. The Ishimura would go on to mine the most rare and valuable resources from other planets and transport them over to earth for consumption using a practice known as “Planetcracking.” Using massive lasers, planets were literally split apart and the chunks pulled to the Planet Cracker-type vessel using state-of-the-art gravity tethers, where the chunks of rock and dirt are split apart and picked clean of any ore, mineral, or resource held within. This practice, while arguably rather dangerous, was more than enough to save humanity from dying off on Earth and resulted in an entire fleet of ships dedicated to cracking planets apart and looting their remains. The Ishimura, especially, became a symbol to mankind of its determination and ability to survive, both in deep space and on its dying world. Thanks to it, resources were plentiful and mankind was thriving again.
Sadly, the Ishimura, mankind’s survival, on its 35th planetcrack, became the site of something that could threaten its very existence.
Before the events of the USG Ishiumura can be documented, however, we have to go back in time to note one of its most important players: CEC Engineer Isaac Clarke.
Isaac was born on Earth on the year 2465 of June 5th to his parents Paul Clarke, a ship designer, and Octavia Clarke, a Unitologist. Unitology was a cult-like religion that expressed unwavering faith towards an alien artifact called a Marker, which they believed had the power to reunite humanity in heaven. One of the fastest growing religions in the history of the universe (primarily due to their concerns of planet-cracking and the increasingly materialistic nature of Earth Government and of humanity in general,) Isaac’s mother was a devout worshipper of the Marker, and regularly spent the family’s finances on tithes to rise up the ranks of Unitology. Her rampant spending eventually came to the detriment of Isaac himself, as due to her actions, his career in ship engineering was halted as tuition for colleges became far too high. This is what started Issac’s general dislike and distrust of Unitologists and Unitology in general, as it caused him to believe that they were inherently selfish and far too willing to put their religion over anything else, even if it defied all reasoning.
Note: it should be noted that Unitology, despite its growing popularity, was heavily looked down upon by the general public. Many saw them and their beliefs as insane. Indeed, those that believed in a religion took up a minority of the human population; atheism was the norm for humanity in the far future.
Despite the family’s financial difficulties, Isaac was able to pursue his engineering career, albeit in a lesser college. After graduation, he decided to enlist with the Merchant Marines, tasked with patrolling and maintaining security on various vessels. It is with his time with the Merchant Marines did he impress his superiors with his handling of various engineering situations, and thus was given the role of a ship engineer for vessels on major shipping lines. At some point during this, he met Nicole Brennan, a fellow CEC member and medical specialist who would later become his girlfriend. They lived together for a long time, and it was also due to him that Nicole Brennan eventually became a crew member on the USG Ishimura itself, a move that she thanked Isaac for immensely.
It was due to Nicole being on the Ishimura that, when a distress signal is sent out and an emergency response unit is formed, he volunteered for the unit.
And thus, we can chronicle the events of the Ishimura with all the relevant context.
The USG Kellion housed the emergency response unit, led by military man Zach Hammond and containing fellow CEC member Kendra Daniels, tasked with determining what had happened to the Ishimura. They followed the distress signal to Aegis VII, where they found the derelict ship orbiting the planet-cracked planet. Attempts to communicate with the vessel failed, and a docking procedure malfunctions, resulting in the Kellion crash-landing into the ship, stranding the Kellion crew on the Ishimura. Despite this, the Kellion crew exited their ship and set out to find survivors.
It soon became very apparent the ship was all but completely abandoned.
Not to be deterred, they enter the flight lounge while Isaac enters another room to upload the damage reports of the Ishimura to see what needed to be repaired. Just as he does so, however, the entire flight lounge goes dark and a quarantine is initiated due to biological contaminants. Said “contaminants” end up attacking the crew and soon begin pursuing Isaac himself, who’s forced to flee down a long hallway and into an elevator in order to escape from them. After obtaining a weapon (namely, his Plasma Cutter, which he used to defend himself all throughout his journey through the Ishimura,) he came into contact and Kendra and Zach again, who instruct him on repairing various portions of the ship in exchange for helping him find Nicole. During this process, he went to repair the Kellion, only to have those “contaminants,” called Necromorphs, to show up and blow up the Kellion, leaving the survivors stranded on the ship.
As Isaac fought his way through the Ishimura to repair its critical systems, he slowly began to unravel what had happened to the ship. To make a long story short, the CEC had attempted an illegal planet crack on Aegis VII, and the captain of the Ishimura was assigned to retrieve a “Red Marker” for the Church of Unitology. After finding it, the Ishimura was largely replaced by Unitologists, who then proceeded to extract the Marker. However, the Marker ended up causing mass homicidal and suicidal tendencies within the crew. This did not stop the planet crack from occurring, however.
Said planet crack, however, resulted in the Necromorph outbreak. They first began assaulting the colony on Aegis VII that was set up to aid mineral extraction, and the captain was forced to cut off communications to prevent the infection from reaching the ship. The Captain, however, was eventually killed, and a colony shuttle piloted by a colony survivor ended up infecting the Ishimura with Necromorphs, who began running rampant within the ship and killing everyone they came across. In the chaos, the communications array is damaged, most of the emergency pods and shuttles are launched empty, and a distress signal is eventually relayed to CEC and Earth Gov, who send respective teams for repairs and search and rescue. By the time the Kellion arrived, the ship had almost completely fallen to the Necromorph threat.
During his journey, Isaac was able to come into contact with Nicole Brennan, though only through holographic messaging. She acted very strangely, though this did not stop Isaac from continuing in the hopes of finding her.
After repairing the critical systems of the Ishimura, the trio were successful in launching a distress beacon that was then picked up by military ship, USM Valor. However, the Valor too fell to the Necromorphs after picking up an escape pod with a Necromorph inside. Due to the heavy armaments of the ship, Zach deduced that the ship was not meant to rescue them, but to destroy the ship; someone else knew of the Necromorph threat.
With both the Ishimura and the Valor lost, the trio decide to escape from the ships with a shuttle. To do so, they board the Valor and retrieve its power core to repair a shuttle, though the resulting mission comes at the cost of Zach Hammond’s life. During this mission, Isaac Clarke came into contact with Doctor Terrence Kyne, a survivor of the Ishimura, who informed him of the nature of the Red Marker and how to stop the Necromorph outbreak. Essentially, the Marker had served as an engineered inhibitor of the Necromorphs, as the one that controlled them, The Hive Mind, only laid dormant while the Marker was placed on Aegis VII. To defeat the Necromorphs, the Red Marker had to return to the planet.
After loading the Marker onto the shuttle with Clarke’s assistance, however, Kyne is promptly killed by Kendra Daniels, revealing herself a government agent tasked with retrieving the Marker. Daniels attempts to take the shuttle and leave Clarke for dead, but with the help of Nicole, Isaac is able to recall it and force Daniels to leave the shuttle with an escape pod.
The shuttle now in his control, Clarke took the shuttle down to the Aegis VII colony and set the Marker there, pacifying the Necromorphs. However, this action also shut off the gravity tethers holding the chunks of the planet above the colony, causing them to plummet down to the surface. Before he can escape, however, Daniels appeared and took back the Marker. Before she left, however, she revealed through a fully recovered distress transmission that Nicole had been dead the entire time; the Nicole he had been seeing were hallucinations used by the Marker to deliver it back to the planet. Heartbroken, but not deterred, he tried in vain to prevent Kendra from leaving, only for The Hive Mind to show up and do his job for him.
Him and The Hive Mind fought for a long while, with the end result being The Hive Mind’s death. Isaac then ran back to the shuttle, leaving the Marker behind, and was able to escape Aegis VII by the time the chunks of the planet careened into the colony and destroyed it.
Setting a course away from Aegis VII, Isaac finally relaxed, but still wanted to be sure if what he had seen was real. Watching the suicide video again, the realization that his girlfriend had been killed, and how she could have lived if he had not convinced her to go onto the Ishimura in the first place, drove him to despair. The effects of the Marker also ravaged him mentally, gifting him hallucinations.
Before he entered the Omniverse, however, was suddenly attacked by an apparition of Nicole, with the sudden shock knocking him out and allowing him to enter the Omniverse.

Physical Description:
![[Image: Isaac.Clarke.full.728761.jpg]](http://static.zerochan.net/Isaac.Clarke.full.728761.jpg)
(1000 OM) Stats: First Stat Increase - ATK (1000 OM)
ATK: 5.
You have to be strong if you’re able to stomp off limbs! Most of his weapons, while not military by any means, are still damn strong and were able to get him through the Ishimura during the Necromorph outbreak. He is more than capable of dealing a hefty amount of damage to anyone who gets into conflict with him.
DEF: 4.
Even without his RIG, he’s able to tank a surprising amount of damage. Most blades only slow him down, and even gunshots can’t keep him down. Apart from the sheer resilience and reliability of his RIG, a lot of it comes down to sheer determination and will to live.
SPD: 0.
His RIG does not do him any favors for his speed whatsoever. Retreat is practically impossible, and due to the weight and armor of his RIG, he can’t outpace most opponents.
TEC: 2.
While he’s only an engineer, it must take some level of skill to be able to survive countless assaults from seemingly unkillable monsters of undead flesh. His courage also gives him some points here, as despite how terrified he can be while fighting, he’s still able to make rational choices and think outside the box.
(3,000 OM) Starting Proficiencies: Physical Strength Proficiency (1000 OM,) Ranged Proficiency (1000 OM,) Debuff Proficiency (1000 OM)
(2,600 OM) Starting Powers:
Flight - 1800 OM.
His RIG has thrusters attached to his wrists and feet, allowing him to launch himself in any particular direction he wants for a given time until it runs out of fuel.
Time Manipulation - 800 OM.
Ah, good ole’ stasis. Thanks to this, he has the capacity to limit the time in which certain objects and people move around.
(900 OM) Starting Moves:
211-V Plasma Cutter - 300 OM (requires Ranged Proficiency.)
A futuristic mining tool designed to cut apart frozen rocks in space, Isaac Clarke found out it was just as effective against organic matter as it was rock matter. The tool is able to deliver a superheated stream of one foot blue plasma “bolts” in either a horizontal or vertical direction depending on the setting mode of the tool, although the damage is the same regardless. Three blue lasers indicate the current mode of the tool while also serving as an improvised aiming assistant. The 211-V Plasma Cutter has only 10 shots before it needs to be reloaded, indicated by hologram on the tool, with the reload taking about three seconds before it is ready for use again. He only has so much ammo he is able to use before the weapon becomes unusable, with the amount being roughly 35 shots before another weapon is able to be used.
The tool is semi-automatic with around a one second delay between shots, but the plasma bolts themselves are otherwise very accurate and, once fired, hits the target near instantly. The actual range is standard for a pistol-like tool, with its effective damage becoming negligible after anything farther than a standard pistol would fire, making it unsuitable for long range combat. Its effectiveness against beings in the Omniverse has been lessened thanks to Omniphysics, and as such no longer has the limb-tearing offense it used to have. Those with high defense are likely to be able to tank repeated hits without suffering too much damage, though it’s almost guaranteed to knock the wind out of them with a direct hit and possibly numb a limb if it hits one, and a low defense user will more than likely suffer a lot of pain if hit by this tool.
The Mighty Boot - 300 OM (requires Physical Proficiency.)
So powerful it requires it’s own move. Thanks to the enhanced power of the RIG suit as well as the power of his magnetic boots, this massive stomp is capable of completely removing limbs if the being unfortunate to experience this move has a low enough defense, and is still extremely powerful even to those with high defense. The move itself does not have any area-of-effect range, so the foot has to hit in order to deal any damage. It is not a particularly fast move, though, taking about three seconds with each stomp, nor does it have a very long range, requiring the opponent to be more or less right underneath Isaac for the move to be reliable. It’s also next to useless against non-grounded enemies. Plus, Isaac has to be standing in one place in order to use it; he cannot be moving around. While it can also be used alongside other moves, it's rather taxing on his stamina and thus impractical to use repeatedly both with and without using other moves at the same time.
Stasis Module - 300 OM (requires Ranged Proficiency, Debuff Proficiency, Time Manipulation.)
A versatile tool used by soldiers, engineers, scientists, and normal, everyday people, the Stasis Module is embedded inside Clarke’s RIG suit and indicated by a half-circle of blue light that drains and changes color with every usage.
To use Stasis, Clarke activates a band attached to his hand and points it at his foe or object. To fire the stasis energy, Isaac has to stand in one place and charge up the shot, which takes around three-four seconds to complete in full. During this time, he has to concentrate on the shot, meaning if he is attacked or hurt during this time, he cannot launch the shot. Once he does so, he launches a baseball sized sphere of blue energy that goes about as fast as a thrown baseball (aka, pretty fast,) and, if it lands, distorts time and forces the affected opponent/object to slow down and move at about 75% of their normal speed. This stasis field lasts about one-two seconds, depending on the defense of the target, during which the foe/object is powerless to do anything other than wait out the process and allowing Isaac to do whatever he wants to them. However, aside from slowing down their speed for those one-two seconds, the stasis field does no damage nor any other debilitating effects. The actual range is also rather short, only lasting about bus-length before it dissipates into thin air, and the size of the energy ball means it's also rather easy to miss with. It also can only affect one thing at a time, so two people cannot suffer the effects of stasis at the same time. A shot also drains his suit of energy, causing him to move slightly slower and generally fatiguing him more and more with each shot.

Character name: Tamsin Suzaku
Character source: Dragon Ball Z AU/OC
Character history: (Chubbs DBZ universe. Similar to canon universe, except: the Saiyans and planet Vegeta still existed, inhabitants of Earth were aware of and interacted with aliens, all the races were on equal footing power-wise and the events of the show did not occur.)
Abandoned as a child, Tamsin was adopted by Amaya Suzaku, one of the leaders of the Servus guild, which specialised in training highly-qualified house servants. Despite the grueling and unforgiving training it entailed, Tamsin happily followed in her stepmother’s footsteps and became a maid. After Amaya was killed, Tamsin resolved to uphold her guardian’s ideals and struck out on her own. It was at this point that she encountered a Namekian named Maleficus Nova, the son of the infamous mercenary Retane, who spent his entire life living in the shadow of his father.
She served him dutifully for two years, during which they overcame many obstacles and trials together. It was during this time that she came to realise that she had the power of telekinesis. But before she was able to fully nurture her untapped potential, Tamsin was inflicted with a terrible curse, which over time degraded not only her body, but her very soul. Before she died, she merged what remained of her being with Maleficus, hoping to watch over her master even in death. But it was all for naught. Tamsin could do nothing but watch helplessly as her master was attacked by a mysterious entity before being wiped from existence.
This should have been the end of Tamsin herself as well. However, before her spirit could disappear, she was drawn into another place, appearing in a body of her own once more. Devastated and confused, she found herself facing a grinning and elusive white figure...
Physical Description:
![[Image: 43bDHy6.jpg]](http://i.imgur.com/43bDHy6.jpg)
Standing at 163 cm, Tamsin’s figure is slender, even somewhat frail. She possesses sky blue eyes and silver hair, which she wears in braids along both sides of her face. She is dressed in a white and blue French maid outfit, complemented with black shoes, a white headband and an apron. Her neck is adorned with a mysterious bejewelled pendant in the shape of an insect. She also carries concealed holsters for her weapons, strapped to her back and thighs.

Starting Moves (600):
Crescent Moon Knives (300; requires Physical Strength)
![[Image: qXTjjoi.jpg]](http://i.imgur.com/qXTjjoi.jpg)
A pair of bladed weapons Tamsin inherited from her master, Maleficus Nova. Each consists of two steel crescents — 34 cm and 24 cm in length and 4 cm in width — that are crossed together, creating four clawlike protrusions. The lengthened section is covered by a wrapped handle, with the shorter section acting as a hand guard. Though the knives are not particularly damaging, they can be wielded with great speed and precision.
Fangs of Gelidus (300; requires Ranged Proficiency)
![[Image: 6aXEo7M.jpg]](http://i.imgur.com/6aXEo7M.jpg)
A gift from Tamsin’s former employer, it is a set of six silver-coloured titanium daggers that have been balanced for throwing. Each is 22 cm in overall length, with the blades themselves being 12 cm long, and 3 cm in width. Flying at the speed of arrows, Tamsin is able to throw one per second at distances up to 30 m. Though she can use her telekinesis to draw them back to herself, Tamsin’s powers are too weak to alter their trajectory mid-air.
Pendant of Unity (0; RP fodder)
![[Image: KczDjju.jpg]](http://i.imgur.com/KczDjju.jpg)
Originally unearthed at an archaeological site on Arlia, it is one of two identical insect-shaped artefacts that Tamsin received as a reward for her participation in Dante’s Abyss. Comprised of a variety of precious stones and containing elaborately carved small runes, the pendant hangs upon an unbreakable chain of katchin. When in proximity of its twin, it begins to glow with radiant light, which becomes near blinding when they are brought together. But as the other pendant, and its owner, have been lost, the artefact remains nothing more than a painful memento.
I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.

“My, time certainly flies when you’re stuck in an abyss for years.” Jaixe commented under his breath with a hint of irritation and sarcasm, aptly matching his foul mood. Here he was again, wandering between the spires of Coruscant, with people and cars so claustrophobically packed together he had a difficult time believing that traffic ever flowed at all.
With no allies, no friends, no lasting effects on the world, and nothing to denote change in the time he was gone; all that he had was himself. He couldn’t remember what happened, only the unending whiteness that befell him and entrapped him for an unknown length of time, testing his sanity to its utmost limits. Did time even truly pass in his absence? He couldn’t say, and that coupled with his jarring reawakening at that damnable fountain did little to set him on the right foot today.
What he could say instead is that his head thumped constantly, wracking him with a persistent dull pain, people were rude and far too clustered together, and it was bitterly cold in the afternoons of this world, especially with the constant gusts of wind from squealing trucks and cars flying past at blinding speeds, whose noise seemed to endlessly reverberate in his head like an incessant, pulsing echo. To add to his ire, the sun that would normally help keep him warm decided that hiding behind the various towers was more valuable than giving him even the slightest ray of light and warmth. He cursed whoever designed this city with spires that blot out the sky and continued onward through the oncoming swarm of impatient, impudent pedestrians, pulling his long coat, buttoned up and black with dark crimson stripes along the edges, closer to him for warmth.
Despite the string of disappointments and irritants, he was determined to get back into action sooner rather than later. He was cautious and slow before, seeking to be methodical about his approach, and that cost him time. This time he was going to be more assertive and actively hunt his objectives, but to do so he required access to resources he currently lacked. The Empire suited his needs sufficiently for such, and even a modicum of respect in the faction could carry him a long way.
It took only a short while to traverse the crowds and find his way into one of many departments dedicated to the ever-so-vigilant Imperial Peace Division. He remembered clearly that the Empire greatly valued Primes that volunteered their services to them, especially those that let the research division conduct excruciating tests on them. Seeing as he was somewhat allergic to being experimented on by Omni-knows who or what, he chose the more sensible option of hunting down criminals.
The massive lofty complex that served as a base of operations for what essentially were the peacekeepers of Imperial society in this verse was certainly difficult to take in completely, mostly since the Empire valued signs of power and prestige over practicality in its architecture. The many stories were likely filled to the brim with Stormtroopers and office workers performing a variety of tasks that kept the gears of this well-oiled machine of “justice” turning.
Upon entering the stately lobby, Jaixe was immediately greeted with further irritation at their choice of décor. It wasn’t the polished floors, clean, almost featureless walls, the organized kiosks and waiting benches, nor the people walking to and fro and conversing about this problem or that report, no. It was the color, the Imperial white that surrounded him and which almost sent him reeling.
What is with that damn non-color that everyone likes so much?! He thought to himself, suppressing an almost involuntary urge to go slicing up the room.
Shaking off his momentary lapse into fury, he wandered over on silent footsteps to one of the workers at the front desk, attempting to put on his best neutral face as he could manage.
The man was a dreary looking person to be sure, sitting at his desk in his trim, metal gray uniform and his short, well-kempt hair combed over to the side, half-consciously reading through reports and news, and only making the occasional edit when he can be bothered to pay even the slightest bit attention to what he's doing rather than staring into the abyss. He didn’t seem to even register Jaixe’s arrival, at first, until he noticed that the light got dim suddenly. He looked up at Jaixe with a bored expression, “Can I help you?”
Jaixe stifled a sigh before replying, “I noticed a public request for the assistance of a Prime to hunt down a rather peculiar target or two...”
Jaixe brought up the public notice in question, a bounty on some petty criminal that’s been giving the local law enforcement agency some trouble to show to the officer.
The man nodded, “Yeah, put that up a few days ago. Guessing you want info?”
“That would be ideal,” Jaixe affirmed, returning the device to his pocket.
“Alrighty,” The small man stood up with a sigh, “follow me then, I’ll get ya started.”
“That particular bastard’s been irritating us for the past couple of weeks,” the man started as the duo walked around the desk and down into the nearby hallway.
“Seems to me he’s been trying to get under our skins and taunt us.”
“I think I can relate…” Jaixe mumbled, attempting his best to ignore the ever-clean, blank white hallways.
“Why just the other day he…,” the officer went on and on about the various deeds and misadventures of this criminal and their gang and the division's attempts to track and catch them. They called themselves the Red Death or something like that, Jaixe wasn't paying much attention. He didn’t particularly find the name all that unique either, but in the den of scum and villainy that is the lower levels of Coruscant, he supposed creativity had its limits. At least they didn’t name themselves the White Death...
