I know that a lot of you people are super flippin' smart, or at least read a lot of Wikipedia articles, so I'm making this thread. Long story short, I have finals next Monday and Tuesday for an online Spanish course. My study methods thus far have included squinting at my scribbled notes and praying it will be enough. Also taking frequent depression naps. Please, if you have any suggestions for how to retain knowledge within a short time frame.. throw them out there.

All right, I've never been part of a fight before in the Omniverse but it's finally happening.

I would like to go for the normal rules. 800 word limit. 3 rounds. 48 hour time limit. Random elements and damage meter.

I don't like how simple most alignment systems are. I made my own. Feel free to use it.

Basically, this alignment system, like the D&D one, is divided into two categories: Lawful/Chaotic, and Selfless/Selfish. Each one has a number that defines your character, which you select from a list. So, Lawful/Chaotic is:

1: Pure Lawful: Whether they follow actual laws or a personal code, they will never break from it, regardless of circumstances.
2: Mostly Lawful: A character that follows either actual laws or a personal code for the most part. As long as it doesn't get in the way of something they view as more important, they will abide by it.
3: Somewhat Lawful: One who follows either actual laws or a personal code sometimes. They will try to abide by rules, but will often break smaller ones they view as less crucial.
4: Neutral: A character that follows laws or a personal code sometimes, but often breaks them to suit their needs.
5: Somewhat Chaotic: One who doesn't respect laws or codes, but follows them sometimes. They will often follow rules simply for convenience, but have no real qualms about breaking them.
6: Mostly Chaotic: A character that doesn't respect laws at all, and never follows them. They don't go out of their way to break them, but they won't just follow them for convenience.
7: Pure Chaotic: One with absolutely no respect for rules of any kind. They often go out of their way to break rules and break down governments.

Then for Selfless/Selfish:

1: Pure Selfless: Someone who cares about others over themself 100% of the time. A character willing to die for others, or even bear extreme torture.
2: Mostly Selfless: A character who mostly cares about others over themself. They will fight as hard as possible to protect others, but will often at least be hesitant to sacrifice their life for others.
3: Somewhat Selfless: One who values others over themself but not to a great extent. They will be willing to fight for others, but only to a certain extent, typically not if it results in their death.
4: Neutral: Someone who has no real feelings towards whose life should be valued more. Usually they care about themself, but they also try to help people who they are close to often.
5: Somewhat Selfish: A character who values their own life over others, but not to a great extent. They will try not to let others be killed, but when it comes to it care more about themself than others.
6: Mostly Selfish: Someone who values the life of themself over others for the most part. They try not to kill without reason, but don't have many qualms about it.
7: Pure Selfish: One who only cares about their own life. All other life doesn't matter to them. 

When listing your alignment you would give it as first number/second number. So, for example, Gaston is 3/5. So, is this completely stupid, or is it fuckin genius? Also, what alignment systems do you guys like to use.

As Aquamarine lied down in her jail cell while waiting for her jail time to be up, she started to think about the events that led up to her being arrested and put into jail for at least half a year. She knew that even though she managed to help save things on Tier One with Repliku earlier by defeating one of the Heartless, she still ended up being arrested due to ending up causing a scene, and because of this she ended up in this jail cell. And while the Gem did find the jail cell to be a bit more roomy then what she was expecting, she still was a bit frustrated that she ended up being stuck in this place.

And the worst part of all this was that something was wrong with her wand, since the gravity manipulation that allowed her to move things with her wand was on the fritz. While she could probably still create Blinding Balls and do other things with it, one of her most useful assets to the Tractor Beam Wand was no longer working, a fact that put a bit of worry on Aquamarine in the long run. As she continued to wait for something to happen from the other side of the bars, Aquamarine tried balancing her wand on her head, trying to ease her worry and boredom while inside the jail cell.

Eventually though, someone approached by Aquamarine's jail cell, wearing a tuxedo with the Empire's logo on the front, and unlocked Aquamarine's jail cell. Aquamarine, unsure of what was happening, said "So who are you supposed to be? Are you going to end up being my lawyer, or are you guiding me to a different cell because I ended up violating some other law while in this cell? Either way, I would like to know your name, just in case." As Aquamarine continued to wait for the person to speak to her, she watched his mannerisms carefully, to make sure that he was not going to attack her.

After listening to what Aquamarine had to say, the person simply sighed a bit before saying "I am not a lawyer, and I am not a guard here to escort you to a new cell. You can simply call me Dr. Sabant, and I am bailing you out from here, since you have piqued the Empire's, or at least my interest, since we have been watching you since before you started fighting those things on Tier One, and I would like to take you to my lab for further studies. After all, how often do I get to study a creature as peculiar as you?"

"First of all, I am a Gem, not a creature, and secondly what piqued your interest? Was it the wand? Cause if it was,
well then I have some bad news for you, since my wand seems to have something wrong with it's main function of gravity manipulation." As Aquamarine said those words, she showed a small, but noticable frown on her face as she continued to talk to this "Dr. Sabant" person.

"No, not that. I was referring to the Gem-like thing on your body and your peculiar hard light body that you have mentioned of while we have been watching you, and that is what we are interested in. We would like to study this hard light body of yours, and see how well it can manage to a new Cold Gun we are developing for our Stormtroopers to use, so we can try to perfect it to work on even hard light." At this point, Dr. Sabant grabbed some sort of weird gun that Aquamarine did not understand and started to show it to her, before continuing with "We will even let you keep one of these prototypes and help around with some Empire stuff if you end up behaving well while we study you. Are you ready to leave for the lab now?"

Fortunately for the doctor, Aquamarine ended up accepting to be studied, though not for the reasons that Dr. Sabant expected. Aquamarine, after hearing about being experimented on due to her hard light body, was wondering on why someone would question her on that, since on Homeworld it just ended up being seen as a normal thing that rarely needed a explanation. And while she was not that curious about studying her hard light body, she was pretty curious about helping the Empire, since Aquamarine wondered why the scientist would mention a thing, since he had only rarely mentioned the Empire before.

As Aquamarine agreed to go with the scientist to be studied, the two quickly walked out of the jail, and as Aquamarine saw Sabant's car, she was a bit surprised at what she saw. The car was basically a very advanced limo that streched out a long distance, and it seemed on the inside to have a gold plated flooring on the inside. As Aquamarine sat on the inside of the limo while waiting for Dr. Sabant to drive, she quickly glanced at the jail she was formerly in, and thought about the Shadow Stalker and Dark Side that had managed to cause all these events earlier today, before she and Dr. Sabant ended up beginning their drive to the lab, where she was to be tested at.

13 was shaken despite the fact that it should be impossible. He had met this... creature? human? god? and he called himself Omni. This was interesting seeing as that shouldn't be possible. The Omnissiah was back on holy terra, on his golden throne. Unless those heretics were right and the god-emperor was merely posing to gain their allegiance. This was a lot to digest. He then realized something; he was feeling. 13 wasn't sure about how he should be reacting to this, now that he could. Anger maybe? But where would that get him. Sadness? The same. Happiness? For a while that would work but when it came to killing again.... he wasn't so sure. 13 could definitely see the reason to replace emotions with cold logiv more than ever. Trying to figure out how to fix his brain or at the very least make a mental off/on switch for emotions, he noticed a rainbow light coming from his head. Like a moth to a flame he was fixed on it. Drawing his hand up slowly to his head he realized that it was coming from inside of his head. He stayed in his entranced state until the lights faded and disappeared. Focusing back on the task at hand he realized that he no longer felt the amazement he had felt before, or maybe he had managed to make the 'off/on' switch for his emotions. This would be helpful, not only would the guilt of murder be optional but bartering and not starting as many fights would be much more easy. 13 realized that if the warp had given him these powers there were probably more to be unlocked. He walked away from the fountain of which he had arrived and most ignored, possibly a mistake but that didn't matter now, slinging his rifle on his back and putting his revolver in his pocket he focused on his mission as of now; finding out who the the real Omnissiah, gaining as much precious data as he could, and killing the usurper.
