Silence.
And then a beat.
The reverberation crashed through the grey fog of Limbo, a still place now teeming with activity — if only for an instant. In this limbo, by the fountain in the centre of the Nexus, silence returned. All that had changed was that a tiny droplet of black sludge sat at the bottom of the fountain. Perfectly spherical, this black sludge slowly expanded, quadrupling in size before it contracted unevenly, once more tearing apart the silence with the sound of a massive heart beat.
Expand, contract. Silence, tha-thump, silence, tha-thump. Slowly, ever so slowly, the net change on the sphere of submerged black sludge was that of net-growth, size increasing half-again with each cycle of expansion and contraction. For days this continued, a steady growth, unchanged. As the sphere breached the surface, it stopped. No more growth. Suddenly it contracted, becoming like a single pin prick of negative light that shot up a meter into the air, and expanding into a shade.

The eco warrior took it upon himself to quiet his voices in his head. Daxter wanted to come with him but it took some convincing that it was for his own good. Daxter was bummed and tried to convince Jak otherwise with his whining and begging tones. But in the end, he stayed behind to find himself alone within the confines of Jak’s room.
What the ottsel found, was a totally different story…
But let’s get to Jak’s own story, shall we?
Jak’s own journey began with his hoverboard, his barely used machine that Keira had made him over the years. At first, he just stared longfully at it, like a big hole was missing in his heart as he gritted his teeth and shook it off. If the woman wanted him back, she should've come herself.
He sighed as he hopped on it, making sure it still worked before he was off toward the frozen fields. Heaps of memories he didn’t want to remember still plagued him but it was going to take a bit of time to perhaps get over it.
The familiar glow of the machine made Jak kick it and hop on it, like he barely forgot how to use it. At least it would be faster than walking. Jak’s feet was pointed forward along with his back foot planted firmly on the mechanical skateboard.
“Here goes nothing”
The wastelander took time to direct his hoverboard to where he wanted to go, as he moved toward the Nexus gate. The time to get to the frozen fields was going to take a while at this pace, but the man was in no hurry to get this done. Once Jak got the balance right, he was moving toward the Nexus gate faster than usual.
He stared up at the large gate, and stared up. He was bracing himself for the Nexus’s bright white in his eyes as they began to water, making Jak wince. He took a breath, and moved into the Nexus gate.
“There’s that prime again, I swear they are everywhere these days” Number #260 mumbled under his breath.
“At least he’s not haunting Courscant this time..” #266 mumbled back, not caring if whoever heard that.
Jak gritted his teeth, hearing the failure stories of the rise of his heroing and then his fall in Coruscant.
“Figures.” He mouthed while turning his back. The Wastelander moves past them toward the Frozen fields gate and almost trips on his own boot in his own carelessness and rubs his neck.
As he entered the winter wonderland, the first signs of cold he began to feel right away. He wasn’t used to places that had a arctic climate painting the landscape in a multitude of colors like the snowy mountains he visited almost 4 years back at home. Bits and pieces of memories from home floated in his head as a casual reminder how long he’d really spent in the Omniverse.
The mornings were beautiful, but the nights reminded him of an artist’s palette who had decided to paint the sky as white as Light Jak.
Crispy flakes fell onto the eco warrior’s tan skin as he felt the kiss of a winter’s day in the Omniverse. The winds whistled as Jak held his hands over his arms trying to ignore the bristling cold now on his skin.
Was this the “test” the Precursors would of set on him to make him a better hero or were they too just laughing up that their “chosen” one was stupid enough to step foot in a freezing area without a coat or anything to survive?
Jak’s metallic boots made prints in the snow while slippery ice ahead told of unforeseen danger ahead. He found smoke coming from his mouth in the form of breathing from his lungs.
From his view, the long eared warrior stopped in front of a permafrost lake glimmering with blue diamond like waters underneath. The lake seemed almost an endless distance out into wherever.
Stopping didn’t help the cold eco warrior any for his test had just began.
“Keep moving, Jak, keep moving.” He told himself over and over to force himself to keep walking to avoid any risk of hypothermia.
Sooner than later, the man began to rub his hands with furious rubbing

The heavily armed catgirl trudged through the layers of snow cause by the ongoing blizzard. Cold blankets of white quicksand with every step she took. The dropping temperature hardly bothered her, even for her scarce attire, as compared to the limited visibility of the Frozen Fields.
After another few dozens of meters of walking, she had found him: Tearen Wover. She remembered seeing man in Dante’s Abyss in the spectator’s area. She also knows that he is a really strong prime. Hence the trouble she put herself through to track him down.
“Tearen Wover?” She called out through the cold, catching the attention of silver-haired man. His dark black robe fluttered in the numbing wind.
“Yes, have we met before?” He spoke through the thin veil. The faunus drew the ten pound sword from the sheath on her back and drove it into soil covered by white carpet of snow.
“You're one of the strongest Prime’s in the Omniverse I've heard of. That means it would be impossible to not challenge you!” She says with a grin, full of the usual confidence she always had. “Draw your weapon and face me!”
Just making an intro post, I'll let Tea make one too before I start my fight post.
It took only a few moments in the hot and humid entanglement that was this jungle to completely dry Myst from her unwanted swim. She carried the towel in her hand because it was too hot to wear around her shoulders like she had thought about. The bright blue and yellow of the towel also clashed with her outfit, but in her hand, it almost looked as if she were going to the beach or a pool party. She was fortunately too oblivious to this idea that she held onto it without complaint. After all, the towel was perfect for wiping the sweat off her face.
Good thing she didn’t wear much make-up last night.
Myst has lost her lipstick though, between the lake she fell into and the constant wiping of her face. Now her lips, while a bit raw from the towel’s rougher surface, were a cherry blossom pink. She would give anything for chapstick.
The woman has not yet summoned a pair of shoes for the terrain either, and despite looking like something that didn’t belong here she was toughening out the soft spongy ground that was the earth that collected all the moisture that she and other produced to feet the delicate eco-system. Madamoselle Cassandra stopped at a tree, placing their hand on the moss-covered bark of the monstrously sized plant. She gazed out at the everything trying to gauge what she was getting herself into...

CHARACTER NAME:
Sgt-CMO.9656 ‘Cobalt’
CHARACTER SOURCE:
Star wars: Clone Wars - Part legends part headcanon
CHARACTER HISTORY:
A clone medical officer of the 222nd Legion, Epsilon(2nd) Battalion, Third company, and the first platoon. The point of origin would be a few weeks after the Battle of Kamino, though his battalion had not received the Phase II armor that has begun distribution. After this he had a small incursion into what the inhabitants called ‘The Multiverse’; Though he did not believe in this kind of thing and deemed it a very odd coincidence, he learned many things there and gained a few strange weapons to increase his effectiveness in hand-to-hand combat
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
![[Image: Abel_II.png]](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/288062354384617472/380608395658657802/Abel_II.png)
(An old image intended for the same character, I will produce a better one soon)
A six foot man clad in thick white armor made of a material resembling plastic, the armor has green lines running down from the Pauldrons to the gauntlets and just by looking at it, the armor seemed very worn, as if it had been repaired several times and is deteriorating slowly. His helmet would sport a T-visor with an odd green fin on the dome, and green paint identical to that which ran down his arms surrounding the visor itself. The visor would split at the bottom, forking into two points and forming a ‘frowny face’ though this forking would not appear as glossy or plastic as the visor; for it was the filter and the speaker for his vocoder. Besides the green paint on his armor there would be one cobalt blue bowtie painted on his chest plate, just below his chin. This trooper is armed with two knives and a carbine. One knife; which is short and seemed to be more of a tool than a weapon is a vibroblade if any could recognise it. The second ‘knife’ is a twenty inch long steel blade, eerily similar to a Catachan Fang. The carbine is a DC-15, the S variant to be precise, a short and near sidearm looking weapon, entirely black and dull looking with no stock, with no obvious munitions attached. The man himself would have tanned skin, dark brown hair in a crew cut, brown eyes, and a thick moustache worthy of the White Scars under his helmet. His face is identical to that of the bounty hunter Jango Fett. Cobalt would also have an odd accent resembling that of a Concord accent, but with odd changes leaning more towards a Balmorran or Corellian dialect.
STATS:
ATK:3
DEF:3
SPD:2
TEC:2
STARTING PROFICIENCIES:
Physical Strength
Ranged Proficiency
Area Attack Proficiency
STARTING POWERS:
Burst Movement – 800 OM
STARTING MOVES:
Catachan Fang(requires Physical Strength) – 300 OM
A twenty inch long blade of steel, gifted to him by Lord Commissar Augustus of the Death Korps of Krieg (Which is odd, I know) This blade does not have any outstanding properties other than being incredibly sharp and slower than any conventional knife
Vibro-Knife(requires Physical Strength) – 300 OM
A short but speedy weapon, measuring five inches in length and is capable of slicing through steel; though it is required that the user turn it on before attempting such a thing. This blade would be incredibly fearsome in any hands trained to use it due to it’s nature to sever limbs and pierce armor.
DC-15S(requires Ranged Proficiency) – 900 OM
A short ranged carbine with a make effectiveness of five kilometers, though the chances of hitting anything farther than ten meters is very low. This weapon have a capacity of fifty shots before reloading it’s power source, a further 1,000 shots before reloading the Tibanna canister concealed inside the rifle. The weapon has three settings; standard, high-power, and low power. It can be fired at a moderate pace, taking half a second between shots on the standard power mode, low power mode; however, can fire as quick as the trigger is pulled, and a skilled soldier could fire seemingly automatically though the bolts would be significantly weaker and more inaccurate. High power setting is capable of firing a highly explosive bolt on the pull of the trigger, but can only be done twice before the Tibanna and power source need to be replaced, the blast only having effect a foot or so from the impact zone, incredibly damaging on shields or armor. The weapon ionises the highly explosive Tibanna gas to create plasma, which then form a bolt and is launched forward at somewhat anticlimactic speeds. The weapon is good for penetrating armor designed for ballistics, though it is not so effective against either the Mandalorian Beskar armor or metals thick enough to resist.
“Hand zappy thing?”(requires Physical Strength) – 300 OM
This device would only be notice by either touching it or being affected by it, or close observation. The device itself appears to be a thin, wide spaced chain-mail covering the user's right hand and a thin black rectangle stretching lengthwise across his right gauntlet. Upon activation of this device a low hum and small electrical arcs would sprout from his hand when contacting metal. This device can inflict mild knockback, only stunning for 3-5 seconds if the victim's defense matches Cobalt's attack, and doubled if their defense is less, it also has the tendency to overheat when on for longer than two minutes, and beep rapidly until the user deactivates it, allowing it to cool.
I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.

ick gazed out onto the burning tower from the Quinjet. It was in a pitiful state. The entire thing was aflame or burnt to a crisp, what had formerly been the Avengers symbol lying on the ground.
"Used to be your base?" he said, gesturing towards it. The rest of the team was somberly looking onto the ruins.
"Yeah," replied Marcus in a soft voice. "Yeah, it was."
Dick shook his head. This was their home, all their personal belongings inside. To destroy it was the ultimate insult: the destruction of one's home while a hero is demolishing their personal life. He would know; it had happened to him. He took a deep breath, clenching his fists. He absolutely had to retain his composure, he knew that. But it made him angry to see such a complete disregard for the humanity of a person's enemies. But soon they had landed, and Dick focused on his breathing and calmed down. When he stepped out, he immediately regained his stoic mask and focused on business.
"What are we trying to get out of this wreck? Personal items? Equipment?" As Dick spoke he looked around the area, mentally taking notes on anywhere that something important could reasonably be hidden.
"We need to get that star piece, or whatever it's called out of there-well, we really gotta get whatever we can. Stop the fires." Moon Knight tried to respond calmly, but there was a certain tension in his voice Dick could detect.
"Hey, it's fine. We'll salvage what we can." Dick's attempts to reassure him might fall on deaf ears, but it seemed important for him to at least try.
After trying to calm Moon Knight, Dick immediately got to work. He started with some nearby piles of rubble, overturning large chunks of cement and metal, but he found nothing of significance; it was mostly clothing. It seemed that in order to get anything out of the wreckage, he'd need to get in. Just as a test, he tried forming an energy shield around him, a common tactic in his home universe. And, like so much else he had tried here in the Omniverse, it had failed. The energy he exerted merely fizzled out into the air in a blue flash.
Thinking for a moment, he went over to some of the rubble. The doorway was burning, but he might be able to form some protection. His suit itself was already flame retardant, but he couldn't rely on that alone to protect him. But if he managed to smother the flames with something, he might be protected. He quickly grabbed a wool sweater and twisted it around in his hands. It was slow to burn, he remembered learning that from a person back home who designed clothing (and hero armour). But it was also highly flammable, so would not solve the problem. But, fortunately, there was also a rain poncho. Simply by covering the wool with the poncho he could take out one small portion of flame, enough at least to get in. The wool would allow time for the fire to spread before it heated up the poncho, and the poncho would melt before it let any flames get through.
Dick walked toward the entrance to the building. Too engulfed by fire; he'd be burnt before he could even press the smothering device down. But nearby there was a crack in the wall, the bottom inflamed. He took the opportunity and pressed the cloth down... only for it to burn almost immediately. He had forgotten to factor flames from the side and above, which quickly melted the poncho. He verged on panicking, but soothed himself by focusing on breathing. Reinvigorated, he thought about how he could get in. Clearly, it would take someone able to withstand the flames. Which meant he couldn't take on the tower alone. He turned around, yelling to the team.
"Anyone here got some flame resistance? Or a shield?"

1. There was a brief moment of silence as a black and white suited man bent down on top of one of the smaller towers looking down into the night. Bits and pieces of broken memories floated in his blackened soul, nothing more than a Hellspawn to Malebolgia.
His voice cried out in agony as he held his head, almost in a tearful wince "WANDA!""
2. The black Helghast stealthed himself from place to place to finally land near a interesting post where a few stormtroopers were talking about the latest happenings in Courscant. He watched and waited.
3. A yellowish flash appeared in the Saiyan's eyes as his own anger flustered enough to have anyone around the area feel the waves of energy bursting off of him. Perhaps this time he'd kill Frieza.. for good.

CHARACTER NAME: The emperor of mankind
CHARACTER SOURCE: Warhammer 40k
CHARACTER HISTORY: The Emperor of mankind was born around 0 AD, his soul was created when 1000 nearly immortal shamans committed suicide together to make a soul powerful enough to be immune to the powers of chaos and protect humanity for the countless millennia to come. In the year 30,000, Horus fell to the ruinous powers and joined forces with the other traitor primarchs to attempt to destroy the Imperium, after a battle on Horus’s ship the emperor almost died and was sent to the golden throne which is where he has sat for the last 10,000 years. While protecting humanity from the terrors of the warp that would storm terra from the webway, a bit of his soul fractured and fell away as it normally did. Omni stole this piece before the chaos gods could and brought it into the omniverse.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: The emperor is on a giant golden throne covered in skulls. On it is a giant human skeleton who is still intact. Small amounts of rotting flesh can be seen hanging around bones. On his left eye is a red eyepiece which most likely allows him to see as his previous eye has rotted away. The emperor used to have a right hand but it disappeared when he heard about the Inquisition and has not been seen since. Normally, the emperor would not be able to speak but thanks to the technology of the 21st century, he can now talk to all of his loyal subjects through a text to speech device. The emperor’s throne hovers 30 cm above the ground, allowing him to move. From base to skull, the emperor is 12 feet tall.

After a 5 second charge, a small bucket flies out of the emperor's throne, it will fly at the speed of an arrow over an enemy and dump water on them, possibly stopping a move from channelling as long as the emperor's TEC is higher than the enemie's TEC. It will then fly into them and deal a low amount of damage. He can also leave the water in there to deal slightly more damage but the water effect won't happen. The move takes a low amount of energy to aim and use. It will continue going for up to 50 metres (164.042 feet). The bucket will change size and shape but it will always be metal and contain around 5 gallons of water. The bucket can not get smaller than 10 cm wide and no bigger than 50. It can be used while moving and will home in on an enemy within 5 metres of it after the inital launch, getting within at most two metres of them before it flies at them like a normal projectile, dropping to the floor after it hits or travels 3 metres. The emperor can use other moves along with the bucket as long as they don't take too much effort. It can turn reasonably tightly but it will have to slow down or get flung in the direction it's turning, often overshooting an enemy.
