So yeah, Lopunny is eventually going to go on the Omniverse Pokemon run Pokemon league! Most likely after Luffy xD
Anyways, since we may have another pokemon prime soon, I thought I'd share this and maybe you guys can join in to throw out some ideas!
So basically, there's a gym or two in every Verse. I think to give players variety, each gym will represent two types and the players can decide which one they want to challenge.
Also, no order in which you have to do these gyms. That's also up to the player!
Following is what I have of the gym list. Feel free to give input and I'll edit this list as we get things more fleshed out.
Oh one more thing, expect to fight several other pokemon before they let you fight the gym leaders. That goes without saying. xD
-------
Coruscant Fighting & Steel
Location: Tier Five
Population: low
There used to be a gym in Tier Four that was focused on Electric types and Steel types, however the Empire shut them down for mysterious reasons. The Electric types moved on while the Steel types joined up with the fighting types who were already running unofficial tournaments in Tier Five. This gym is located smack dab in the middle of a slummy neighborhood where is serves as a form of entertainment for some of the locals.
Gym Leaders: Hariyama and Excadrill
Camelot Psychic & Rock
Location: Hidden
Population: Medium
The Camelot gym is located in a small hidden community to avoid the persecution of Pokemon of the region. However, it's getting harder and harder to stay hidden as an influx of Pokemon have moved to the area. The area is noteworthy as the pioneer of "Partial evolutions" which allow pokemon to make cosmetic changes to their bodies, making it a hotspot for pokemon wanting to set themselves apart from themselves apart.
The building itself looks a lot like a magic school. While it mainly focuses on the psychic types as they are the magic users of the Pokemon world, rock types have been allowed at the insistence of Master Sudowoodo, who believes stone is the foundation of Camelot.
Gym Leaders: Alakazam and Sudowoodo
The Endless Dunes Ground & Flying
Location: Spread out
Population: Extremely low
In the oppressive landscapes of the endless dunes, the only two types of Pokemon that can thrive are the the hearty ground types and the flying types, the masters of the sky. There is no dedicated gym in this verse. Instead, challengers must track down and fight some of the pokemon that belong to either gym. Only after several battles will one of the gym leaders present themselves to the challenger. The ground types tend to hang around the deserts, while the flying types tend to gravitate towards Oasis'.
Gym Leaders: Krookodile & Archeops
The Tangled Green Grass & Bug
Location: Elven territory, 20 or so miles from the World Tree
Population: Low
The Elves took a liking to the concept of creatures literally made of plants and gladly allowed them to live on their lands. The gym itself is a laboratory built in a clearing. Many of the Pokemon there also study the magical flora as well as run an officially sanctioned gym.
While the entire focus of the gym is plant pokemon, they are willing to also hand out the badge to anyone who knocks the lights out of the leader of the bug Pokemon that keep trying to eat them.
Gym Leaders: Serperior & Heracross
The Vasty Deep Water & Fairy
Location: Costa Del Sol; Spread out.
Popular: Medium
Like the Endless Dunes, there is no dedicated gym. Same rules apply here, find representatives of said gyms, fight them and the leader will reveal themselves.
The fairy types often frequent Costa Del Sol's entertainment industry, while the water types stick close to the beaches.
Gym Leaders: Samurott & Flores
The Pale Moors Dark & Ghost
Location: Somewhere outside Darkshire in an abandoned mansion.
Population: Medium
Dark types and Ghost types seem drawn to a mysterious mansion. Together, they form a rather flimsy alliance as they try to uncover the mysteries of said house which seems to have something to do with Pokemon history.
Gym Leaders: Absol & Mismagius
The Ashen Steppes Fire & Dragon
Location: Hidden
Population: Extremely Low
A small group of pokemon gather inside an inactive volcano. Every day, they come to fight. They do not fear the terrain of the Steppes, they welcome it. They honor anyone who dare come all the way to their little hiding spot just to challenge them.
Gym Leaders: Blaziken & Salamence
The Frozen Fields Ice & Normal
Location: Unknown
Population: Unknown
I haven't figured this one out yet. XD
---------
The Elite Four
Location: Cinnabar Island
Population: High

When Power Ups are used, is the stat increase the only thing that is allowed to happen? If a power up has an additional effect in-universe (such as causing damage or changes the terrain in a non-fluff way), how is this translated to the move, or it's cost?
For example, there's an item in Doom called the Bezerk Pack, which increases the player character's strength, making it an obvious Power Up. But it also complete heals the PC. If DG has Bezerk Pack as a Power Up, could it also heal at the same time (I assume the cost for the heal would also apply, I'm not trying to wriggle my way out of that)

One whole decade, one entire decade ago this whole thing started. Damien Alabaster slaughtered my friends, my family exactly ten years ago to the day. He left me with my rage and hatred and fury underneath a pile of rubble, amongst the desolation of my village. Everything I held dear to me was turned to ashes in just a few hours because of that monster, and I finally get the chance for my vengeance. Oh how much have I sacrificed to get here. I ran my rough scarred hands along the cobblestone wall of his tower. Something seemed off, it seem almost too easy. No guards, the front door unlock and unbarred it was almost as if he wanted me to find him. It seemed that after ten years of evading me he finally gave up. The tower was well lit with torches and candles on every floor, bookshelves housing ancient scrolls and books lined the walls of every floor. More of a library than a tower it seemed almost as if the knowledge of the world was held within these walls. The tower was quiet, so quiet that I could hear my own heartbeat as I climb the spiral staircase to the summit.
It was surreal in a way, every floor triggered another memory of my journey here. Every ally and every enemy, every battle and every victory seemed to play themselves out in my head. I became a god amongst men just for the chance to slay Damien and here I was seemingly at the end of my journey. Do I kill him slowly and make him suffer for the hell that he put me through? Do I just kill him without the theatrics? Thoughts and memories swarmed my mind like a thousand hornets, I took a deep breath to silence them and calm my nerves. The final floor, only a few more stairs and I would be at the final floor. I would see my nemesis for the last time before I slay him.
Damien's lair was not as sinister as I expected it. He stood across from me, back turned and looking out across the countryside. He lowered the hood to his dark red cloak and turned to face me. That face, that unmistakable face it looked like it hadn't aged a day since he slaughtered my village. Energy crackled across my body, I relished the slight pain the arcs of white hot lightning brought.
"Welcome to my abode, I just have one question; do you remember me Strazio?" he smiled and brought his arms outward. How dare that bastard smile and welcome me like a long lost brother?
"Yes I remember you, I could never forget" I dashed forward, using a burst of energy to strain my muscles to their breaking points. I was met with zero resistance as I clasped my hand around his forehead and pushed him to the ground. Energy coursed through my forearm and coalesced into my palm. "You are going to die today Damien Alabaster!"
He smirked and spoke softly "I'm sorry Strazio, but today I live"
Everything went dark and my blast of energy discharged outwards, firing uselessly into the void. What happened? Where did he go? I thrashed about and screamed at the top of my lungs, firing several more blasts of energy into the void. I tried to yell and call out, but I could not find my voice in fact I had even lost the ability to scream. A grinning silhouette appeared in the darkness and spoke, in vain I tried to fire a roiling bolt of energy at him, but even my magick refused to manifest itself. The creature identified itself as Omni and began speaking about the place known as the Omniverse. I tried to command him to take me back, but my voice was still absent. Every fiber of my being was strained as I tried to manifest something, anything. I tried to tear a hole in reality I wanted to kill Damien, ten years wasted. My life wasted.
Just let me go back, please.
Just as fast as it started, it ended. The darkness was replaced by blinding white light and a single solitary fountain. Anger does not begin to describe what I felt at that moment. My clenched my hand and slammed them into the base of the fountain, falling to my knees I bashed my hands against the stone base until they hurt and then I did it some more.
"All of that hard work, gone in an instant. Gone by some wicked twist of fate. Dammit, dammit, dammit" energy crackled throughout my body and I could feel the slight burn of its electric currents. I tried to compose myself, there were others, Primes I think he called them around. It took longer than I cared to admit it, but I finally calmed down. I stood up and surveyed my surroundings, several other primes were nearby while others were heading for distant gates. I've waited ten years to kill Damien, I can wait ten more.
I spoke under my breath "Omni, I will tear apart this world to return home. I will rip the omniverse to shreds if the mean finding Damien again. You will not stop me."

Character name: Strazio Rockwell
Character source: Original
Character history: "Pain? Anger? You know nothing of either, I will tear apart the world with my bare hands if I must. I will find Damien Alabaster and he will not live" - Strazio Rockwell
Born to a middle-class family in Riverweldt, a small fishing hamlet off the coast of the Striped sea, Strazio Rockwell seemed destined to live a simple life. His parents were kind and the citizens of Riverweldt were a close-knit community of family and friends. Strazio spent his formative years playing with the other children of Riverweldt and learning the ins and out of a fisherman's life. That is until a wandering nomad found his way to Riverweldt. Strazio was fifteen at the time the wanderer arrived. The man spoke little and only asked for a room and some sustenance at the only tavern in town. He was tall and kept himself shrouded in a dark red cloak, he kept to himself and aroused much suspicion from the townsfolk. Strazio worked nights at the tavern, cleaning the tables and floors for a bit of extra money.
The Nomad called Strazio over to his corner table, he spoke quietly but every word resounded with Strazio. "Look at my face and remember it. My name is Damien Alabaster remember that as well." Damien looked grizzled and worn out, but his eyes held an unmistakable fire. Strazio tried to back away, but Damien grabbed his shirt and pulled him closer and placed his hand on Strazio's chest. Red crackling energy arced throughout Damien's hand, searing a symbol into Strazio's chest.
"Remember my face, remember my name, and most importantly remember what I'm about to do." Damien pushed Strazio across the tavern and red lightning arced throughout the building. The tavern crumbled and collapsed upon itself, trapping Strazio underneath the debris. Explosions and the sound of screams kept Strazio company for the next few hours as Damien slaughtered his friends and family. Trapped beneath the rubble he screamed and struggled, rage and hatred and fury festered within his chest. He commited Damien's face to memory, he vowed to kill Damien Alabaster he vowed to avenge his village.
Five days he was trapped, for five whole days he was left with nothing but his anger. His fury kept him sustained through starvation and dehydration. On the fifth day of his exile he was found by a traveling sorcerer. The sorcerer was known as Clement and he could see great potential in the young Strazio. He took the young man under his wings and began to teach him magick. With his passion and drive he quickly learned how to harness the raw energy of the universe. A rare breed of magick user he used his own body as a conduit for magic rather than incantations or wands. The raw energy did take its toll on his body, every spell would damage his flesh and organs. But it was because of this sacrifice, that his magick was so powerful. It wasn't dampaned by running through a wand or circuiting through an incantation it was raw and powerful.
Several years passed and yet Strazio did not forget Damien and he did not forget his vow. Clement had taught him eveything he could and so Strazio set out on his own. He adventured across the world in search for the one man he hated so much. Much was sacrificed in his pursuit for Damien; his health, his friends, and his morals. But one fateful day, a decade after his initial run-in with Damien he was finally able to track down his quarry. He held Damien's head in his hand and just as he was about to put an end to Damien's life Strazio disappeared from existence and appeared in front of Omni.
Physical Description: Tall and athletic Strazio's body is covered in burns and scars from repeated use of his magick. His hair is stark white, another side effect of his destructive magic. He often wears cloaks and shrouds and has cloth wrappings around his hands and arms. He travels lightly and has a small pack which he carries his essentials.
Stats:
ATK: 5
DEF:1
SPD:2
TEC:2
Starting Proficiencies:
Ranged Proficiency (1000)
Physical Strength (1000)
Area Attack Proficiency (600)
Starting Powers:
Burst Movement (800) - Drawing in raw energy Strazio can push his body to its limits, allowing him to move at super human speeds for short durations. These bursts put an enormous strain on his body and he tries to use them sparingly.
Starting Moves:
Shatter (300) (Requires Physical Strength)
A very short range "shotgun" style blast of roiling hot white energy. The blast originates from Strazio's palms and extends about a foot outward, he is able to manifest this power very quickly and it is one of the few abilities of his that doesn't put a large amount of strain on his body. Repeated uses of this ability in a short time will burn his palms and hurt his forearms.
Breach (600) (Requires Ranged Proficiency)
Breach takes a few seconds to charge up, but Strazio can move during this time. White hot energy swirls and crackles around his forearm for a few seconds. After about three seconds he punches forward, releashing a wicked bolt of raw magick in a straight line forward. The bolt is very powerful and fast, but very skinny and can be difficult to aim. Due to its power it is often best to dodge the bolt rather than trying to absorb or deflect it. Strazio can also charge the bolt for three more seconds to release a much stronger beam. This excess energy burns and ravages his arm, dealing 1 point of damage to him should he choose to charge it beyond its normal use.
Shockwave (600) (Requires Ranged Proficiency, Physical Strength, Area Attack Proficiency)
Strazio draws in energy for two seconds and releases it in a very destructive shockwave around himself. This shockwave serves a dual purpose, knocking away projectiles and scorching anyone close enough to get caught in its area of effect. The blast travels about six feet outwards in all directions, incinerating and annihilating everything in its path. This wracks Strazio's body with pain and burns his flesh and bruises his organs, he takes 1 point of damage whenever he uses the shockwave portion of this ability. Strazio can choose to instead shoot the energy forward in a cone, using both arms. The distances increases to about eight feet and is slightly more concentrated than the shockwave. This hurts his arms, but doesn't damage him as much as the shockwave.
100 OM leftover
I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.
Player notes - I wasn't sure if it was alright to have self damaging abilities, I'm assuming it would be alright especially considering Strazio's backstory and the way he channels his magic.
Also I'm not sure if the shockwave should cost 600 or 900 I think it should only cost 600, but I'm not one-hundred percent sure.
Thanks for taking the time to review my application.

It was a warm day off the isle of Isla Nublar.
On a small island about a mile from Nublar, a yacht bobbed up and down in the afternoon waves. From the anchored boat, a trail of blood stretched about a quarter mile inland to the center of the island, where about a dozen men in Imperial Naval uniforms were digging down into the white sand. From their clear progress, it was obvious that they had been working through most of the day, and their efforts had led to a five-foot deep trench along the center of the island.
Up above the trench, a collection of individuals were also working around the island, but only one of them was glaring down at the sweating, gasping seaman. At about four and a half feet, he would have only towered over the most average-sized human preteens. The reptile’s blue skin looked almost glossy as the full sun of the ocean verse bore down upon it, but if he felt any discomfort, it wasn’t apparent. His midsection was encased in a thick brown shell, and his hands and toes ended with hooked claws that were stained permanently by years of blood, much like the teeth of a life-long coffee drinker.
On the back of his shell rested two assault rifles, both equipped with bayonets and grenade launchers. Around his waist was a heavy belt decorated with grenades and other assorted devices. Atop of the turtle’s head, he wore a small camouflage helmet that had been modified to allow his somewhat fluffy ears to poke out to mitigate discomfort. At the end of the reptile’s mouth was a fat cigar that glowed red.
“Warlord.” The raspy voice came from behind Wartortle, who glanced away from the seaman to see his Head Researcher standing just a few paces behind him. A Pikachu by birth, the little mouse wore a tiny white lab coat and had a habit for chain-smoking cigarettes. Even now, one of the little white stick dangled from the corner of his tiny mouth as he spoke. “We’re picking up Imperial chatter in the area. I think it’s about time for us to move on… unless you think the boat can survive another mismatched engagement.”
Wartortle sneered, revealing a mouthful of jagged teeth. The Mouse Pokémon was correct—their boat had suffered more than its fair share of blows in their most recent scuffle with an Imperial Naval detachment. As they were far removed from the nearest Liberation Front safety house, the reptile had no desire to swim the distance.
“I suppose you’re right… ready the boat, Doctor.”
“Yeap,” Pikachu said as he snapped off a lazy salute. As someone who existed outside the military hierarchy, he wasn’t required to do so, but that didn’t stop him from doing so lackadaisically. If he’d been anyone else, Wartortle would have punched his teeth in, but the Mouse Pokémon had been with him since nearly the start, back in the days before the Omniverse. After taking a long drag from his cigarette, Pikachu flicked it down into the trench and walked back toward the boat and the collection of workers trying to ensure it was sea-worthy.
“Good job down there, homo sapiens,” Wartortle shouted, causing many of the chained-together seaman to turn their weary eyes up toward the turtle. “Real high-quality grave.”
With that, the Warlord opened fire with both of his machine guns, strafing the length of the trench several times over with two streams of automatic fire. Although weary from starvation, dehydration, and exhaustion, many of the men still managed to pull together enough energy to try and drag themselves up the walls of the trench, but they were quickly cut down.
Letting off on the triggers, Wartortle sneered through the smoke wafting up from the barrels of his guns. “Filth,” he muttered as he holstered the rifles and started back toward the boat, leaving behind the narrow trench lined with the broken bodies of the Imperial seamen.

Link shivered, arms pressed tightly around his chest. Snow drizzled from above, swaying in the slight wind as it floated down. He heaved a foot free from the knee deep snow, his calf muscles numb save for a gentle tingle, and thrust it down again. It punctured through the thick white layer and crunched as the sole of his boot found the ground. His eyes squinted against the blare of the sun reflecting from the pure snow, and he looked to the horizon for direction. Mountains framed the sky, pale blue and distant. He remembered which mountain it was, with Malu's memory psychically imparted to him even without the Zora mask on. He took a deep sigh, the frigid air tightening his lungs, and trudged onwards.
A bad blizzard thrashed the landscape yesterday. Link was lucky to find an underground burrow left by some unknown creature and waited out the storm there, his Hylian shield acting as a poor substitute for a trap door. When he emerged, he was greeted by the new obstacle he had to fight with each step; knee high snow. Thankfully his fire arrows kept him alive in the burrow, but their flames shuddered and evaporated when the chilly winds blew, stealing away even their smoke. He wished he remembered to conjure some sort of cloak before he resumed his journey, but iced to the bone that he was now, his mind focused on his destination. His body going numb and joints stiffening, Link knew that if he stopped to summon warm garments, his eyes would droop and he would fall into an endless, frozen slumber.
His Loftwing arrived with him, but the icy weather repelled the bird. In any case, the winds that swirled in the blizzard would have killed it anyway. Link thought back to Epona, his beautiful horse that helped him conquer the King of Thieves, but she would suffer a similar fate. Even Malu's skin, while more resilient to the cold, could not withstand the full brunt of the land. Indeed, his exposed scales eventually worsened the issue.
Link twisted his head to the side. The Hero's Shade trudged beside him, sword and shield in hand, unaffected by the snow. Though still transparent, there was more substance to the spirit now. His journey didn't leave a trench of snow in his wake, but a disturbance in it. It was as if two snakes slithered over the white blanket, a windy impression of their bodies left behind. The Hero's Shade looked at him, single eye aglow.
<What is it?> he said, the question only heard in Link's mind.
Link clamped his jaw shut to halt a convulsion of shivering in his teeth, then spoke. "I-I don't kn-know how much longer I-I can g-go on in this c-c-cold."
The spirit scanned the distance. He pointed at an object further ahead of them with his sword. <There is something there.>
A flat plateau of rock stuck out beneath the expanse of snow. Small clumps of white gathered at its edges, and sheer silver ice dotted around its surface. A man, his skin a greyed blue, rested face down on the rock. Dull red ice laid beneath his arm and shackled it to the earth.
Link found a strength inside him and plowed faster through the snow. "H-he needs our h-help!"
Link hoisted himself onto the flat rock, arms shaking, and knelt down. The injured man was only the height of a child, but he was stocky and well built. Scratched armour protected his torso, but an obvious wound in his shoulder was not so well guarded. Link grasped the man's other shoulder in clumsy, cold ruined hands and hauled the short man onto his back. The blood ice encasing his arm shattered as he twisted.
Link put two fingers to the man's neck. He couldn't feel a pulse, but he couldn't feel his fingers touching the man's cold skin either. He watched his chest; tiny, almost imperceptible rises and falls. He was alive.
But he was unresponsive. No colour remained in his cheeks. If not for the shallow breathing, he appeared as a frost bitten corpse. How Link wished he saved a bottle of Hyrule's red potion for the man, or even a bottled fairy.
"We've got to help him," Link said.
<How?> his future self replied. <We have no supplies.>
Link looked around. A small hill nearby shone with light.
"Over there!" Link said, pointing. "There must be someone there. We can talk to them and get help."
The Hero's Shade's eye shrunk, but he said nothing.
Link leapt back into the snow and pushed forward toward the hill. The cold crept back into his legs and groin but he ignored it. It wasn't just his life in the balance anymore.
