This is an OOC discussion thread myself and Doomy (remilia scarlet). For planning and the like. Also if you've read any of our stuff, feel free to comment and all that.

So I had this idea which was a joke on Chat but I kinda like it now. The idea is that in some cyberspace (I don't know which verse), there are all of these AIs which are fighting for control. Though this is purely cyberwarfare at first, they realize that they may have to fight on a hardware level as well. So they hire the fighters that have mastered the art of fighting in the physical realm. They search for mercenary Primes.

The AIs I was thinking of having was:

GLaDOS - the Big Bad in the Portal series. GLaDOS was supposed to be in charge of running experiments in Aperture Labs, but within nanoseconds, she went rogue and tried to kill everyone. This happened several times before she succeeded, flooding the labs with neurotoxins. She is defeated time and time again by one of her test subjects, Chell. In this arc, she would be one of the major "warlords". Her base of operations would be Aperture Labs.

Ultron - an extremely powerful robot from the Marvel universe. Defeated the Avengers several times, and, in the Age of Ultron story arc, even conquered Earth and maintained control of it (seemingly for eternity, until Wolverine reset the timeline). Ultron would be another major player.

HAL 9000 - the supercomputer villain in 2001: A Space Odyssey.

I'm not sure, what else?

Appearance – He wears a lab coat and a suit, and a ninja mask. He always has a stethoscope slung around his neck. Blue eyes.

Personality – In many ways, Dr. McNinja is very immature. He often makes light of morbid things, cracking jokes as he slaughters a zombie or muttering nonchalantly as he crashes a motorcycle into a helicopter full of people. He does things mostly for the sake of spontaneity. He delights in the paranormal, though usually his delight derives from the destruction thereof. He easily holds grudges and he can become quickly obsessed with utterly hating one figure for a small offense. For example, a mafia attacked his clinic once, which sparked a war between Dr. McNinja and the leader of said mafia, King Radical, which spans the entire McNinja multiverse.

Possible Reactions – How would your character respond to certain situations? How might they respond to other types of people?
Dr. McNinja is in Dante's Abyss for the fun of it. He is driven by the desire to be like Batman (for some reason) and therefore he tries to act like him. The real reason he's in Dante's Abyss is mainly curiosity. He's friendly, mostly because in his universe, you couldn't ambush him if you wanted to. (Of course, that's not true in the Omniverse,

Relationships – None yet.

‘Combat’ Style – Fists flying, for sure. He is often attacked first, but then he throws punches almost immediately.

Eligible Powers – Stealth, Acrobat

Moves – Nawp... Can't use any.

Extra – He generally doesn't swear much. When he panics, his dialogue seems to suddenly lose punctuation.

Quotes – "What would Batman do?" / "I ain't afraid of no ghosts!" / "I hate magic."

[float=right][/float]Backstory – Jason Voorhees is a mass murderer from the Fourth Tier of Coruscant, where he preys primarily on teenagers and young adults (hacking them into pieces with machetes, axes, and his bare hands). Strings of bounty hunters and investigators have died trying to bring him down, and it was only through a costly operation that the Empire managed to neutralize the elusive monster. They promptly worked out a deal to send him to the Dante Verse.

Relationships – LOL

Handicap – 3

X-Factor – Jason is virtually indestructible, and the few people to have survived run-ins with the serial killer say that he has the uncanny ability to be anywhere and everywhere.

Appearance – Alain wears a red cloak with black sigils, the hood of which almost completely shrouds his face and eyes. Other than that, he always wears gloves and a black shirt underneath the cloak, along with black trousers. All are bloodstained from the recent fight.

Personality – Cunning and snide, the mercenary adopts a slightly more polite persona to those he think might be good allies. When angered, he does not yell, but instead speaks in an unnervingly calm tone which manages to somehow be even worse than shouting. He has no qualms about stabbing anybody in the back or in the throat, but might hesitate to betray an ally if he think they won't turn on him. On the other hand he's...a bit lazy. If possible, he won't put too much effort into what he's doing.

Possible Reactions – In the competition partly because he got lost in the Moors, partly because artifacts and fame! The first thing he'll do upon meeting somebody is act nicer to try and get them to ally with him, until later where he might leave them in the middle of the night, or stab them in their sleep if he thinks he can get away with it without an injury. If they refuse, he'll at least ask them to leave so that everyone's happy. If dealing with somebody he doesn't particularly like, he'll make snide comments about them, to their face or otherwise.

Relationships – Whirda- Alain doesn't really care what happens to her in the competition, but will most likely start with the snide comments if she speaks to him. He is willing to team up with her if he has to, though. He just won't trust her to do anything.

‘Combat’ Style – The mercenary usually analyzes a situation and acts upon the information he's gathered to get the quickest and most efficient way of killing his target(s). But he's prepared to kill and betray, fighting as dirty as possible if required to survive. After he starts to get more severe injuries or as more Primes fall, he'll take the competition a lot more seriously, but until then, it's entirely possible he'll not put much effort into his fights, unless he's outnumbered or his foe has superior weaponry. If necessary, he'll switch to hand-to-hand combat, focusing on disarming an opponent and if possible, killing them with their own weapon.

Eligible Powers – Basic Super Jumping, Survival, Stealth, Burst Movement, Insight, Master Acrobat.

Moves – Tantibus*, Flame Form I, Sanguine-Tier 1 Power-Up

Extra - Alain generally doesn't talk during battle aside from trash talk if he thinks it'll provoke the foe (Gilgamesh and Gilgamesh, other egotists). Usually injured or even defeated by a failed analysis or his own laziness.

Tartaros groggily opened his eyes, finding himself lying sprawled on a strange kind of terrain, pure white, almost glowing in texture... his eyes scanned around, finding almost nothing close to him with the exception of a large pile of bricks. He slowly reaches towards it, gripping onto the odd piece of masonry and attempting to pull himself upwards. Eventually managing to get his large frame back upright, Tartaros took off his battered helm, and began to gain his bearings.

The sky, land and everything inbetween were all pure white... it was difficult to notice where the horizon ends and the sky begins... Tartaros began to search yet again, for some sign, a landmark, something that was different to this blank, sterile canvas... at first there seemed like nothing, just an empty abyss that damned glowing, well... thing had sent him to! He smashed his boot against the pile of brick, causing a small chunk of it to launch towards his face.

Tartaros swiftly jerked his head left in an attempt to avoid the broken chunk, then through some stroke of luck, or something of that sort, he noticed several minuscule groups blackened dots on the horizon. Finally, a reference point... Placing his helmet on yet again and dusting off his dirty old tabard, Tartaros sighed and muttered to himself, "Just like old times...", before marching off to the horizon.

Personality – Samus is a smart, moral and jaded pursuer of true justice and righteousness. She trusts very few people and prefers to work alone. She prefers to speak with actions rather than words.

Possible Reactions – Samus will not attempt to trick anyone (unless in combat) and will not actively seek to kill anyone that she does not see as absolutely evil or abhorrent. But if attacked, she will defend herself and kill if necessary. The only person she wants to kill in the competition is Cindy. Other than that, she will only take the first shot if she is outmatched and she believes she is going to be attacked first.

Relationships –
Ganondorf - Samus has met Ganondorf and while she does not trust him she also knows what he is capable of and may attempt to form an alliance of convenience with him.
Link - Samus has barely met this elf and has little to no opinion of him. However he did have a part in the fight against the Rathalos. More than likely she would be neutral towards him.
Harry Dresden - Samus trusts this man. While still somewhat unfamiliar with him in truth, she has seen his nobility and the way he will go out of his way to help others in need. That is a rare thing that Samus values highly.

‘Combat’ Style – Samus has a conservative but cunning and tactically minded combat style. She will use her surroundings to her advantage if possible, carefully judging circumstance and odds in order to determine whether best to run or fight. She has been in many dangers and her instinct will be to survive, not do anything stupid. Not even the anger of seeing Cindy would blind her to logic. The only thing that might cause her to act illogically would be if a child was in danger.

Eligible Powers – Super Jumping (downgraded from Flight), Master Acrobat, Burst Movement

Moves – Grapple Beam (can use from either or both hands), Block Beam (creates blocks 3m in diameter and variable colour/texture for tactical cover or environmental advantage), Barrier Beam (works as a partial or whole, green plasma sphere)
Super Move - Missile Storm (2 SP) A cluster of micro missiles from her shoulderpads.
