It had long been a firm belief, if not an absolutism, in Nealaphh's mind that godhood was not a measure of power, but of worship. Heroes and villains of incredible, earth-shaking power were scattered across the span of infinity like so many shells upon the distant shore. They came and went, taking their insufferable platitudes of friendship or nihilism with them, leaving no more of a mark upon their universe than the imprint of a cowrie in the sand, washed away in seconds by the ebbing tides of the temporal schism. No, it was not these individuals who were remembered. Frail, weak, disgusting specimens of countless species often found themselves at the pinnacle of some great artifice, the heads of their implacable disciples bowed in reverence. These living gods, they possessed no special abilities, no preternatural affinity for world-bending feats of destruction. They needed no such thing to garner the undying love of their chosen idol, and with this fervent host at their beck and call, such clods of flesh left an indelible legacy on the universe.
Woe betide those who would confront a combination of both the worshiped mortal and the bombastic paragon.
It was this train of thought that steamed across the God-Mind's psyche as it stopped to observe the draconic humanoids that had been so casually slain by its comrades. Though clad in very little, there was something consistent in their attire; a small amulet of polished glass, etched with the same insignia that had marked the point of no return on the path to the summit. Culture. Volvagia was no mere beast, despite how simple her mind might seem. She was a mother. A queen.
She was a goddess, and Nealaphh had thrown its loyal followers directly into her path.
Standing up from where it was crouching, Nealaphh called out to Okor through the communicator wired directly into its neural network. No response, not even from the artificial mind housed within the Plague Marine's armor. In keeping with the dawning comprehension, Nealaphh noted that the rumbles and quakes of battle had settled back into the normal, geological thrum of the mountain. There was only one conclusion; Volvagia had bested them. The shadow called out to Red Hood, Erik Vrell and Demetri who milled about nearby, planning their next movement.
We must go.
All three turned around in unison and stared at the Enigma with a hint of apprehension and confusion. Surely the implications must have already connected within their feeble heads, but predictably enough Red Hood spoke asked the obvious question anyway.
"Why?"
Nealaphh said nothing and swept past the now muttering Gorons, tracing the path they had so slowly been creeping along to get to this point. The mission was a scratch. The best they could hope for now was to save as many Gorons as possible before Volvagia either tired of its reverie or retreated. As painful as it was, Nealaphh conceded the prudence of responding to the vigilante.
Alpha has fallen. We need to protect the village.
"Will we even make it in time? It took us an hour to just get up the mountain!" Vrell said, spreading his arms wide. The foreman of the Goron technicians shot the psion a dirty look.
"Better to save some than none!" he growled, trundling around to follow the god-mind's footsteps. With nothing further to debate, Vrell and Hood fell in line, leaving only Demetri and his sentient body suit standing in the carrion-filled clearing.
"Creator...I'm not entirely sure participating in the defense is suited to our capabilities." IRIS chirped, a concerned tone. Demetri made a face that could best be described as frog-like before letting out a long winded sigh.
"Nealaphh came to rescue me from Nippur. The least we can do is check it out." the thief muttered, fingering the points of his spiked chains pensively. With that, the troupe was once again moving as a united pack, at an admittedly hurried shuffle.
The sky overhead seemed to cackle with sparking flame as Beta Squad reunited with Gamma. Their injuries were varied and grievous, to be sure. Harry Dresden hovered over Miranda's supine form as Connor and Colonel both sat on hunks of igneous slag, watching the comparatively unscathed subterfuge team approach. A flicker of jealously was perceptible in their collected consciousness, but more importantly, a sense of pride. If nothing else, at least one of the Squads had been successful.
Myriad corpses, too varied and mangled for words, littered the black battlefield. Some of the crumpled dragons still drew labored, ragged breaths, calling out for a mother who was too enraged to hear. Easily a thousand heaps of scaled carrion littered the landscape, their scales and half-lidded eyes glimmering like a sea of fireflies among the charred scree.
"We saw Volvagia, at least, I'm pretty goddamn sure it was Volvagia, fly down the mountain overhead. Didn't even glance at us. Alpha dead?" Connor asked. Normally Nealaphh would find the mercenary's particular bland of flippant dry humor to be bemusing, but the god-mind was far too rife with permutations and tactical estimations to appreciate the attempt at levity.
"Alpha dead." quipped Red Hood, responding on Nealaphh's behalf. The Enigma shot a thought over to Colonel.
You did not pursue?
"I did not wish to act without orders. On our own, engaging the primary target would have been suicidal, bordering pointless." the Navi fired back, a surprisingly sharp edge injected into his otherwise measured dialogue.
We're going after her.
"You're damn right we're going after her!" shouted one of the Gorons who had assisted in Gamma's defense. The rest of the Brothers murmured and nodded their prodigious craniums in agreement.
"What about...egh...Alpha?" Miranda grunted as Harry hauled her back onto her feet. Nealaphh paused and let this thought override its background tasks. Honestly, it hadn't even considered the need for a search and rescue attempt. Honestly, if, of all Primes, Okor had been killed, there was very little reason to suspect anyone else had.
They knew their mission might end in death. I won't abandon the Gorons in favor of potentially ridding a few Primes from minor inconvenience.
"Okay." Miranda said in a completely flat tone. It was rather hard to gauge just how the mysterious amputee felt from her tone and inflection alone, and Nealaphh did not have the brain power to spare to try and pry more directly into such a passing curiosity.
"Yeah, that's great, but we're all pretty spent here. I'm not really feeling dragon slaying right now." Harry said, folding the charred sleeves of his trench coat over one another.
Then do what you can to get the Gorons to safety. The priority has changed.
This was not entirely true. Nealaphh was still absolutely driven on the goal of ridding the Ashen Steppes of the Brood Mother once and for all, but appearance were critical at the moment. It could not afford to lose the Gorons as an ally, and abandoning them when it was clearly responsible for their impending slaughter would not go over well at all; not just for the Gorons, but the entire Omniverse. Being a savior was incredibly tedious.
We can't delay any longer. Make your choices.
A few minutes later, the total thirty Gorons and a handful of weary and, in some cases, nearly dying Primes began their descent from the summit. Without the need to stay on guard against the dragon swarms, their progress was swift, and the downhill hike allowed for easier travel. This especially suited the Gorons, who curled themselves into tight balls and subsequently started rolling right down the scorched side of the mountain like thundering boulders. Nealaphh could not fault them for feeling the need to get to the village, and if the god-mind had been in a slightly different circumstance, it make have adopted its avian form and joined their blitz.
Such bravado made no tactical sense at this point. They needed to operate as a group; it was the only way anything was going to be accomplished.
Some span of time later (Nealaphh wasn't in the mood to keep track), the combined forces of Beta and Gamma crested the final hill to be met only with a vista of flames. Volvagia made no attempts at subtlety as it looped and curled through the sky, woefully rending the Gorons' quaint mason-work huts to absolute ruin. Pain...no...absolute anguish radiated from the entire scene, wafting through the psychic medium and tickling the deeper, suppressed levels of Nealaphh's psyche. It was invigorating, intoxicating even, to pay witness to such destruction with wild abandon. It could feel the sorrow of Volvagia's bereft rage with every shattered wall, and it could feel the trembling, cathartic fear of the Gorons caught in the Arch Dragon's wake.
To say the village was in ruins was to implicate that there was any trace of it left at all. Between the naturally jagged stone of the Ashen Steppes and the pulverized piles of debris that had once been homes, farms, shops and more, it was impossible to distinguish what was artifice and what was natural. Gorons scattered like fat beetles among the ember soaked remnants of their domiciles, trying in futility to find some respite from the lashing flames of Volvagia's ire.
To be completely honest, the Enigma was more than slightly jealous of Volvagia. A strong part of the god-mind wished to join in the flagrant fracas, dancing amidst the tongues of flame and joining in the brazen percussion that so heralded a changing universe. Nealaphh was abruptly dragged from its enraptured awe as IRIS screeched a particularly emotive warning.
"DUCK YOU IDIOTS!"
Not a moment later, Volvagia screamed past overhead, and in the middle of its white-hot indignance, Nealaphh knew that they had been spotted. But there was something else that was primarily occupying the dragon's attention. Something that it both hated and feared. Even as Nealaphh made the deduction of what such a thing could be, Darunia rocketed forth from some heretofore unseen outcropping and collided with Volvagia in mid-air. The sheer bulk of his mineral mass, coupled with his gorilla-like build, saw the two veteran Primes tumble to the ground in a snarl of scale and shale. They landed among a plume of black soot, which exploded from the ground like its own living entity, coyly dancing around the ensuing showdown like a ghost, egging them on. Volvagia stood coiled, her mouth held agape as Darunia pounded his fists together with a thunderous bang. The Goron Chieftan launched himself like a bullet towards the Goddess of Drakes, but the clever predator caught him like a child's toy between her mighty mandibles and proceeded to fling Darunia off over the southern hillside.
Satisfied that the Chief had been dealt with for the moment, Volvagia's remaining eye slowly, deliberately rolled around to look upon the new Primes who dared to contend with her. Most of them smelled like the blood of her brood, not that Volvagia needed a reason to crush anything that dared challenge her.
Prepare yourselves.

As the thread title suggests, this is a post specifically designed to detail all of the ways I intend to conquer/kill/whatever the Omniverse.
These plans all fall under similar organizational categories. They are, for the most part, general outlines for me to follow as I go on my Genocide quest. For each plan, it has a series of steps that I plan to complete in order for Genocide to even be possible. Understandably, this will take quite a while and have many, many steps. Far more than I think I myself can come up with, so I encourage any whom are willing to suggest other additions.
Each Plan is also separated into a specific Verse, since I plan to kill off the WHOLE Omniverse. They will be hidden in spoilers, and each step that is accomplished will be crossed out.
Also, most of these are Works in Progresses that will be updated as I think up more and more schemes.
Now, without further ado, let the classifed files be unclassified!
The Frozen Fields -
1. Reach the Fields
2. Gain the favor of the dwarves.
3. Meet up with Scarecrow and Ascension.
4. Form SoSV. Use them to assist with the following.
5. Fight the trolls throughout the war and steadily rise up the dwarven ranks until I have a sizable amount of influence (possibly Acsension)
6. Attempt to craft deals and alliances with the dragons and/or the giants to make future steps easier.
7. Reach the rank of General or some other rank that allows me almost complete full control of the dwarven forces.
8. As General, proceed to remove resources and supplies from the Fields to starve out its population and force back other Primes.
- Resources to destroy: Cobalt. Trees. Tauntauns. Other Wildlife.
- Places to destroy. Mines. Hunting Grounds. Forests.
9. If alliances between giants/dragons have been made, use them to help soften up the trolls.
10. Try to convince King Bruenor to divert every concievable resource available towards the war effort. If yes, continue the war effort, this time with more zealousness. If not, proceed to Step 11.
11. If King Bruenor refuses to commit to the war effort, then he must be eliminated from play entirely.
11a. Craft Splinter Faction from Dwarves to obtain loyalists for Ballad when he takes over and to serve as an army to fight Breunor's loyalists.
11b. Obtain as many Prime allies as possible to defeat King Bruenor.
11c. Defeat King Breunor.
12. Dwindle the troll forces until they only have enough men/supplies for one more, decisive battle.
13. End the war.
Amber leaped through the giant gate. The completely blank white canvas changed to another white canvas. Although, the white here was snow! "Haha! Look 'Saki! It looks and feels just like home in Atlas!" Murasaki had to cover his eyes as the snow blew in his face from the occurring blizzard. "Yes, it is definitely much better than the musky heat of Vale at Beacon." He replied. "It is also more desolate than where we just were. That's good, I'd rather not get attacked for laughs." Amber turned back to him and gave him a big smile. "This looks like the perfect place for us to get set up, and be ready for anything this world throws at us. If we're going to be pitted against all odds here, I would love to be prepared at the least." Murasaki nodded in agreement. "Now that's the Amber I know. Shall we get moving then?"
"Yeah, just give me one minute," she replied before sitting down in the snow and pulling the Omnilium orb out of her pocket. "Let us get you something to defend yourself." Amber closed her eyes and focus on Murasaki's Katana and Pistol Knife that he normally uses for a weapon. After about 10 minutes of focus, she was able to form his weapons, which she handed over to him, giving them a few swings and sheathing them at his sides. "Much better." He said to Amber.
Now ready to continue, the two teenagers stood and headed through the blizzard. Down the slope that lead from the gate, they trekked through twelve inch snow. Amber, who usually walked barefoot in warmer weather had summoned some more appropriate clothes to travel in the new climate. Boots and a coat helped enough to make sure she didn't freeze. Not too far into their journey, they were attacked some weird creature, that Amber couldn't identify. It didn't put up much of a fight though. "Monsters and animals are much easier to battle than people. Animals are stupider, monsters don't know how to think, but people can form strategies and can learn patterns in my fights."
"Don't let that fool you though Amber. Even monsters and animals can be deadly to trained veteran Hunters and Huntresses."
"Right, keep an eye out." The continued through the heavy snow, looking for a place to set up a base. It's obvious that this wasn't going to be much of an easy task for them.

Let's say I want to make a ghost character in the Omniverse. Ghosts normally do not interact with other entities in the real world, so in order to simulate this...
If a ghost has a high defense, let's say 5, then attacks will generally go through it UNLESS it does damage, in which case it hits it like any normal prime. A weak attack from someone with Atk = 1 will go through it, but a slice of a sword from an enemy with Atk = 5 will slice it like a normal person.
Weak attack + Your Def is 5 + Their Atk is 1 = They phase through you
Average sword slice + Your Def is 5 + Their Atk is 5 = Ghost gets cut
Similarly, if the attack barely does squat, the ghost just kinda phases through the enemy. The same example applies, but replace the enemy with the ghost and vice versa.
Weak attack + Their Def is 5 + Your Atk is 1 = You phase through them
Average attack + Their Def is 5 + Your Atk is 5 = They get hurt
Would this be applicable or would it violate the basic laws of the Omniverse? It still allows people to do damage in the same way it would hurt a guy with armor, but instead of stopping on or bouncing off the armor, it just goes through them instead.
(also sorry for all the questions I just like asking off-the-wall questions spontaneously)

I recently ran an event called the 'Battle of Death Mountain' wherein the goal was to banish the NPC Prime known as Volvagia. To get to this event, I spent a year performing IC tasks necessary to canonically be able to vanquish the dragon, the majority of which involved constructing a weapon called the Gigaton Hammer, an improved version of the Megaton Hammer, which is stated to be Volvagia's weakness.
As the start of the event approached, I managed to secure the interest of a dozen other writers who were willing to commit their valuable time to participating in this event.
The plan was thus:
Split into three teams, one attacking Volvagia directly, one keeping her brood away from the previous team, and a third team to set up a trap to deliver a final, fatal blow to Volvagia.
In order to add an element of intrigue and to provide fail conditions to these events, I created a separate thread for each team and constructed unofficial rules for how those threads would operate.
The event proceeded as planned, and at the end, it was decided that the first team did not succeed in their direct assault. This was acceptable, as I was under the impression that the other two teams would be able to give a last effort to achieve victory.
I was told, however, that once the first team was defeated, that Volvagia was "no longer in play", and that she was now "on a rampage."
This is upsetting for multiple reasons.
From an IC standpoint, I see no scenario unfolding that would result in the remaining Primes and Volvagia NOT fighting. If Volvagia is on a rampage of vengeance, she would search out the Primes who killed her brood. Even if she decided to target the Goron Village directly, the remaining Primes would follow her there and renew their efforts to slay her.
From an OOC standpoint, I feel this is grossly unfair, since it ultimately means that the considerable effort of twelve people goes to complete waste, without so much as a fair chance to actually finish the fight.
Again, I can accept losing, but not being given the option to see this through to its absolute end is, in my opinion, extremely rude and inconsiderate of player morale.
As a result, I have deep concerns that the Omniverse is not as free and maleable as it purports itself to be. To deny players the chance to have a lasting effect on the IC environment, without the even the simple courtesy of an explanation, is counterintuitive to positive player morale. I, personally, am seriously reconsidering my continued participation on this site in light of these rulings, especially considering all of the unwritten rules and parameters I had to stumble through even to have a chance at this event.
As such, I request that the site Admins reconsider their choice and allow the remaining Primes on Death Mountain to finish their fight with Volvagia properly, for good or ill.
I would appreciate the advocacy of anyone who agrees, and invite you to post your agreement below.

I sunk into the bench of the hover bus as it flew between the steel and concrete monoliths of the Coruscant skyline. It seemed weird to be here of all places, but after the Empire "graciously" lifted my bounty after what I had done to save their bacon, it had seemed that it would be a waste opportunity to not go to the one 'verse most like my home. At least before the Empire decided to spring whatever traps they had planned for me. Which is why I was still armed with my usual assortment of weapon, a fact that was not lost on the other passengers of they had decided to keep themselves on the other side of the vehicle.
Except for one.
A little tyke in a green and yellow stripped shirt, a big smile on her rosy cheeked face as she stared at me with red eyes, kicking her legs back and forth beneath the bench. I stared her down (a bit hard to do in a helmet), but she was unphased and kept that wide, unnerving smile.
"Who's child is this?" I demanded of the other passengers, but they remained quiet and their sight away from me. If her parents were among them, they didn't have the spine to save their kid. I didn't know what was sadder, than they would abandon someone like that or that the Empire had given me THAT much of a bad reputation.
Either way, my annoyance had started to bubble up and I need to vent it before I snapped at someone.
"Alright, you little ankle-biter," The child simple turned her head sideways as I addressed her, "if you're going to stare at me, at least give me a name"
"You already know me, Flynn"
What the fuck did that mean, and how the fuck did she know my name?
Before I got any answers, I felt the inertia of the bus stop as we made it to monument plaza and we were all forced off into the large park.
"Whatever" I told myself and walked across the concrete towards the four pillars that surrounded the center. My mind wondered less towards the mountain top that this park was dedicated to and more towards the smattering of stormtroopers that patrolled the area. They were in much smaller numbers than, well, everywhere else, but the plastic soldiers were still as much an eyesore as before. I gave them a mocking finger wave and they just stood there and stewed. One nearly jumped out of line, but was held back by his comrades, as if to say "it's not worth it". If nothing else, the trip was worth it for that.
After the bit of teasing I finally decided to head over to the actual attraction of the pack was and then maybe gouge myself on the local fast food. Until I saw that flash of green and yellow again. That little kid was weaving through the legs of the adults, with some goal in mind. I shook my head. Don't let her bug me, I though. Whatever stupid shit a kid says is not something to get upset over.
Until I saw with one last glance over the flash of metal in her hands. A long kitchen knife, held ready to stab into someone. Before I could confirm, she disappeared into the crowd. I pushed the crowded away as I tried to chase after the child, unsure of what was about to happen. The troopers wouldn't believe me if I tried to tell them, and by then someone may be dead.
When I heard the telltale sound of sharp knife enter flesh, all concern disappeared and I fired my shotgun into the air. The people around me scattered with screams as panic forced everyone towards the edge of the building.
Except for one.
She stood over the lump of a body, knife in her hand, and a smile over her face.
"Drop it, kid," I yelled out, "or the next one goes through your skull"
She turned around, bloody knife in her hand, and looked back to me. I could see a sheen of red light in her eyes, and something far more primal and evil in it.
"You know there's no other way this will end, Doomguy."

Carmelita pulled up in the squad car, closing the door behind her as she stared at the warehouse front. It was, like most of the warehouses in this part of Coruscant, covered in gratuitous graffitti, plenty of it proclaiming a general hatred of ‘the fuzz’, ‘the man’ and ‘fat cats’. She couldn’t blame them, not with the situation they found themselves in down here.
Still, as she locked the squad car behind her, she couldn’t help feel a little hurt inside. Sure, some law enforcement wasn’t straight, but it wasn’t as though every cop was a thug out to ruin someone’s day. She turned and headed for the side entrance, down the alleyway.
She’d tracked down one of the people reported fleeing a chase between unknown fighters that had culminated in a series of explosions that had levelled two blocks of habitation. Upon questioning the locals, only humans had lived in that area, and Carmelita suspected that this might have been a low-level strike by the Liberation Front.
The alley was ill-lit, a smell of refuse and sewage irritating Carmelita’s nose. She touched a digit to her collar, and Bentley’s cloak engaged around her. She flitted past an open side door before peering inside.
The warehouse was full of crates, varying in size from small plastic boxes to huge shipping containers. Carmelita had no idea why a self-contained city needed the latter, but she was sure there was some logical reason for the big metal cuboids. Walking in the door, she noticed that there were gantries up near the roof, below which were ladders and cranes for moving the cargo. The fluorescent lights were on, and she hoped that meant she’d found one of those involved.
She spotted the overseer’s office up by the gantry, and saw a shadow on the glass. Someone was inside, and she snuck over to the metal stairs and crept up them step by step. There was a moment she paused, avoiding a squeaky step, and another where she carefully lifted her shock pistol from her holster. Quietly as she could, she eased open the door.
Inside was not the person she was expecting. Instead of a pokemon or some other violent non-human, she saw what looked like a human, tending some superficial scrapes with omnilium. A prime, then, and one almost certainly not affiliated with the Liberation Front. Carmelita sighed quietly before dropping her collar’s cloak and reholstering her shock pistol. She reached for her badge and knocked on the now open door.
“Good evening, sir. Inspector Fox-Cooper, I’m here to talk to you about the chase scene this afternoon…”
