CHARACTER NAME: Specter Knight

CHARACTER HISTORY: Prior to his abrupt abduction, Specter Knight was the eighth knight of the Order of No Quarter, a malicious order of knights tasked with ruling and exploiting the untamed lands of the Valley under the banner of  the mysterious Enchantress, who watches over her domain from the Tower of Fate.  Prior to becoming the ruler of the Lich Yard and servant of the Enchantress, Specter Knight was a cruel and cunning warrior by the name of Donovan, who had been enlisted by his old comrade Luan for an expedition deep into the Tower of Fate for a mysterious amulet, believed to be the remedy for an illness that plagued Luan's son. Donovan had a penchant for tenacity, and was determined to save his friend's boy at any cost - including his own life.

In a scuffle with Shield Knight over the amulet, Donovan was killed by the collapsing Tower of Fate, before being resurrected as an undead revenant by the Enchantress, and given the title of Specter Knight. The Enchantress tasked Specter Knight with assembling an order of invincible knights that could take a hold of the Valley in her name. In return, she would make Specter Knight human once more. Specter Knight embarked on a journey across the Valley, reaping the benefits of undeath by defeating and recruiting the Seven Knights of the Order of the No Quarter - King Knight, Plague Knight, Mole Knight, Polar Knight, Tinker Knight and Propeller Knight. In the end, this Order needed an eighth knight, and the Enchantress believed that Reize Seatlan - the now-aged son of Luan - would be the final victim of her will. Still holding on to a promise he made to Luan when he was still known as Donovan, Specter Knight sacrificed his free will by declaring himself the eighth knight instead.

From then onward, Specter Knight loomed in the Lich Yard, satisfied with his sacrifice but cursed with bondage to the Enchantress' will. Unbeknownst to him, freedom was right around the corner.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:

Specter Knight appears as grim as he sounds, standing at roughly 6 feet tall when wearing his bone-plate armor. It can be assumed that Specter Knight is nothing more than rotting flesh and exposed bones beneath the armor, and his face is left obscured in every work he's appeared in. Because he is literally just skin and bones, he's presumably very lightweight even while wearing the armor.

Melodramatic thriller music disguised as a news theme plays as the text “Class Action Newsuit” floats across the screen before exploding.

A man in a neatly buttoned up suit situated behind an ornate desk, straightens out a stack of papers as he turns to the camera. He proceeds to slip the papers in a shredder and continue with his broadcast.

“Tonight we’ve got an update on Guu Watch! We cut to Audrey out in the field!”

A brunette woman in a yellow poncho stands in what looks like a jungle, but her currently invisible green irises tell a very different tale.

“Thank you Jerald!” She said, nodding at thin air before looking straight into the camera. “As we all know, Guu disappeared months ago after she beat up a child in the main streets of Ambrosia! That’s right, this assault on a child who couldn’t have been more than 5-years old based on his height has sent the once beloved princess into hiding, like a child beating coward! I’m certain her subjects are very disappointed!”

Suddenly, it cuts to Jerald in the studio who is now donning a face of pure and utter sadness with just a hint of knowing smirk

“Gosh, how could the people of Ambrosia feel about Guu leaving, after beating up a child. I’m sure they are all broken up down there, for the child! For this, let’s head over to Sally down in Ambrosia.”

Cut to actual footage of Ambrosia where a slightly hefty redheaded woman is sopping wet in the rain, her t-shirt and hot pants barely do anything to ward off the constant stream of water running down her body.

“God I wish I had that poncho…” Sally said under her breath before turning towards the camera. “Thank you Jerald! I’m on the streets of Ambrosia where we are about to get the opinions of the locals. Uh! Sir!”

Sally hailed a 7-foot man who was built like a gorilla. His face scrunched up in a constant grimace. She shoves a microphone in his face.

“My, you look like a man with some strong opinions! What do you think of Guu leaving after beating up a child?”
 
He snorted loudly before leaning close into the mic.

“I don’t know why you tabloid crap always got to harp on that! It was clearly out of self-defense!”

A number of citizens who stopped to spectate the interview in back nodded in agreement to the muscle man’s words.

Sally pulled the microphone back into her own face and turned to the camera, taking a few steps forward to obscure the man and the growing crowd of onlookers from view.

“You heard it first! The boy was only trying to defend himself from a nasty nasty princess!”

“Wait, that’s not what I sa-”

Suddenly, it cuts back to Jerald who’s smugly shaking his head, his mouth in a constant grin like he had the perfect hand in poker.

“Those poor poor Ambrosians!” He said, his voice wobbling like a soap opera star in a season finale. Suddenly, his composure came back in an instant. “Now back to Audrey!”

Cut to Audrey who is giving Jerald a death eye, an invisible death eye.

“Oh, can I report the story now?” She said grunting before turning to face the camera. “Guu, who has been a complete no-show for months, suddenly popped up in the Tangled Green wilderness! We have the exclusive clip here on Class Action Newsuit!”

A strange website had appeared on the Dataverse for any Primes who wished to look at it. The website was one that spoke about a new organization that was being put together in the Omniverse by a new prime. 

"Many of you have noticed how in some verses,  there is protection for those who need it," spoke a masked voice. "Whereas in other verses there is no such protection waiting for those who require said assistance. To that end, I offer a solution that the Omniverse has not had to my knowledge fully," stated the voice emotionlessly. 

"I am putting together a corps, to protect the citizens of the Omniverse from threats." 

"Now many of you might ask, why join this corps, when there is one with yellow lanterns?" 

"Well, unlike the yellow corps, mine will channel the Green Light of Will."

1st thing, this account is stuck on the mobile version of the site, even after clicking Switch to Full Version. Not entirely sure why..  I fixed this one. Had to manually change themes for it to actually change, weirdly. 

2nd thing, could I possibly get the account name changed to X-23? I made a stoopid when I created the account, am sorry!

Laura groaned as she opened her eyes to a dull ringing in her ears. She brought a hand to her head, caressing her forehead, nursing what she had briefly suspected to be little more than a headache. But not this time. She squinted into the darkness, desperately trying to find her focus in the pitch darkness around her. A pair of hazy silhouettes finally coalesced into one singular being, grinning eerily at her. The clone moved to scramble backward, away from whatever the grin belonged to, but found herself frozen in place. Fear? No, she felt oddly calm, unnaturally even. She opened her mouth to speak, producing nothing but an exhale of breath.

Laura sneered, “The fuck is this?!” She asked herself, inwardly, her gaze locked onto the Specter before her, “The fuck have you done to me?!” Was this another Weapon-X scheme? She snorted to herself, she’d laugh if she could.

The teenager dreamed. The simplest of dreams for someone her age - her unconscious state feed her images of a glorious heroine, fighting evil and fending off the beasts that threatened her home and family. Her triumph of the evils of her dreams fell short, however, when it all turned black. She found herself floating in a suspended abyss, or was she falling? It was hard to tell when everything was utter darkness. She turned every which way, looking for anything. Cold chills crawled down her back when she realized there was nothing at all. That is, there was nothing until the bright contrast of white appeared, his voice boomed.
