Metal Binding (???) - (Requires all listed Proficienies above)
Raven's powers in the Omniverse are inherently different than that of her original universe. Due to some unknown cause her once Black Magic based abilities are now fueled entirely by liquid metal. The metal can be used offensively, defensively, and as a utility. It is summoned using her latent Omnilium or by manipulating the metal around her. Basic weapons and defensive armaments are a staple of this technique. It cannot produce mechanical parts or things requiring mechanical movement. At the choice of the user, the liquid can be superheated to create a thermal weapon. While this is a pretty streamlined ability and does not cause Raven to exert much effort to perform, the more liquid metal she controls at once the more of a toll it takes on her. This increases exponentially because of the weight inherent to metallic substances.
I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct. Si.

Creation Notes:
1800 OM left over.
When trying to imagine Metal Binding, think Gaara, but with liquid steel.

Your post about the 12-week update, which was posted literally yesterday, mentions extenuating circumstances about switching. That it can be waived.
Evidence:
A) I barely switch.
B) I'm literally one week away. Next week is the 12th week since I went BACK to Broly.
C) I went from Broly to Temari back in July of last year. I kept Temari until April 2017 when I switched back to Broly. See point A.
D) The reason why Broly isn't a fit is that the ideas I had for him were not motivating me enough to write.
E) The ideas I have for Raven are quite different and I plan to make her my own iteration of the DC hero.

I'll grant you exception on the basis that the rule was only changed yesterday and you're a week away. But in future it'll be 12 weeks always (hell, I think 12 weeks might even be too short), so are you -sure- you wanna give up Broly and go Raven?
Curious about me and the characters I play? See the 'Staff' page! See also the rosters for my characters Samus Aran or Enel if you'd like to see examples of well-formatted rosters. Hope you enjoy the Omniverse!

Alrighty, so for Metal Binding, can you elaborate on what exactly you'd be trying to do with it in combat? I see that you want to make weapons and thermal versions of the same weapons, which would each be their own cost. You'll need to delineate the dimensions of these weapons, since something like a dagger would be a different cost than a spear would be. Also for the defensive armaments, something like a buckler would be a different cost compared to a 6-foot wall, etc. You can of course instead purchase this move with 1 or 2 effects for now and then get additional functions approved later on if you'd like. I don't mind hashing out as much or as little as you'd like for now to get you writing faster.

Exactly what Gaara does with sand. I'd be launching liquid metal around and superheating it to melt through people/objects.
The Defense side would be shields only. No walls. Generally, the biggest one would be a tower shield, which measures the same height as a Roman scutum. So 41 inches. It would also come with the ability to encase Raven in a liquid steel tomb for desperate measures.
As for blades? Swords and daggers are pretty much the limits. She isn't a sword fighter, but she can use the metal to cut by forming a blade edge across one side and slicing with it. Almost like razor leaf in Pokemon.

Sidenote:
I forgot the Utility portion. This is for things like creating ball bearings, caltrops, or things like grappling wire.

I'd go look at Shang and Sinestro's Power Rings, Trixie, for some clarity on the specifics that Mark might be hinting toward.
Proto Man also has a move where he manipulates metal (albeit not on the micro scale you might be looking for).

Let's just strike the move from the join form for now. I'll develop it tonight.
