Are you a Bender?
#21
GAMZEE MAKARA
[Image: giphy.gif]

Defected Airbender hiding in an outlying Fire Nation colony.

Pardon my language, but dayum. You are definitely an Airbender in the head. Your flow-with-it, I-love-everyone, and general aura all give off the vibe of a monk. You almost seemed detached, but attached at the same time, it's quite inspiring actually.

Combat is a bit more difficult, considering the loose attitude towards fighting as well. Airbenders did not enjoy lethal combat, but in a situation where death is not an actual end, an Airbender might. The fluidity also leans strongly towards Waterbending as well.

Culture wise, it seems like control is a big thing for the government. They spread fast like fire, colonizing, expanding, then focusing on development and infrastructure. Society seems almost tranquilized by technology, contained by various vices to be easier to maintain...

Modern Airbender Probender living in the United Republic of Nations.

Your personality is quite neutral, to be frank. It has hints of each element, but nothing that absolutely stands out. The most apparent is a touch of Earthbender, considering your defensiveness and preference of a smaller group of trusted allies rather than embracing strangers in any sense of openly.

Combat style is a bit more definitive. There are a LOT of Airbender affiliations here, especially Non-Lethal combat combined with a desire for speed. The offensive over defensive is a bit odd, but it is a small enough deviation to be personal preference and style.

Your culture is in line with the United Republic, especially one of the smaller cities on the outer reaches (read as "furthest from source of political power.") More specifically, this appears to be a very competitive town, but not completely swathed in crime, maybe a even a small tourist attraction for its racing and other sports?

You are a waterbender living in a rural Earth nation village, possibly near an Air Temple.

Your personality had subtle hints of various elements, though the primary feel was a "go with the flow," that suggests the Air or Water mindset. They are pretty evenly represented and could easily go either way.

In combat you chose a combination that highly represents water and air (yet again) and seem to have a running theme between the two. The affinity for non-lethal is what makes it so difficult ot disregard Air, and the counterstrike is a definite Water-bender tactic.

Your culture gives me the feel of a very rural setting, perhaps even underdeveloped. Lots of space and room to yourself, to the point it might be a bit... empty.

For Chakravartin Wu Kong

Personality:
 1. Top five foods? Loves bananas, cheese, oranges, mangoes, and sweet drinks of all kinds.

 2. Someone disagrees with you. How do you respond? Listen to their reasons, if they have a point, change your plan to implement it, if they don't, either ignore them, beat them up, or if they must remain an ally, lie to them, and work around them.

 3. How do you react if you are being bullied? If it's something that can be ignored, ignore it, or simply kill them. If it can't be ignored, kill them, and if it would be inconvenient to kill them, try to convince them to stop through bartering.

DESMAN BLACK
[Image: Chi_blocken.gif]
You are NOT a bender! You are a Chi Blocker from a small but well developed Earth Nation city.

Starting off there is a pretty strong detachment. You can shrug off confrontation against you, but you tend to jump in when someone else is the victim. You know loss, and it seems you have little to bind you. Indifference is a word I would use to describe what I'm reading.

The Non Lethal is a big indicater of Air and Water, and Defense over Offense is an indicator for Earth and Air. Overall, I would say this is very indicative of Airbending tactics, especially the "sneak around" option, which few people seem to take an interest in. This also suggests heavy tactics, which Benders sometimes lack.

Culture wise, interaction and freedom being big, without politics getting too controlling, as well as how you describe honor and patriotism give me the feel of an outlying village with no heavy influence of any kind.

STRAZIO ROCKWELL
[Image: tumblr_nsq3pnJXU01rvmrg1o1_500.gif]
You are a Survivor. You have given up Airbending teachings after your village was destroyed in the beginning of the 100 year war.

Personality wise, it would seem that your personality is very neutral, almost laid back but not quite. Lashing out seems to be a casual occurrence, perhaps because of your loss. The neutrality of your personality suggests a variety of possible outcomes, favoring fire for aggression, earth for defensiveness, water for strong familial bonds, and air for the general distance that you try to keep.

Offense, Power, Lethal, all definitely Fire or an aggressive Earth style, mobile suggests a new age form, blocking goes in with Earth but Counterstrike is back to fire. Combat is essentially a very aggressive, very stubborn event whenever it comes up.

BENDY
[Image: HY5_0g.gif]
You are a Waterbending Hermit from the Northern Water Tribe.

Personality wise, you seem to be very detached, but not exactly out of sorrow or emotional turmoil like some others. Despite this, you would still defend the weak, which has a very Air Nation feel to it.

Combat wise, you seem to calculate the odds more than any old fighter, even knowing when to call it quits. The regretful use of lethal force shows a combination of detachment with a touch of empathy, a dangerous combination.

Culturally, you have many markings of Air Nation, then again Water Nation is just as likely a candidate. In fact, the aggression more befits the latter.

MADOTSUKI
[Image: 2nu40vo.gif]
Firebender soldier, deployed and moving up the ranks.

Welp. This... uh... This was a read. Lots of potential instability here, what could be anger or possible sadistic tendancies. I'm going to go straight up Firebender mindset here, and make sure that we are all thinking about the late Hundred Year War version fueled from hatred and other such cruel emotions.

Well I can tell you, your fighting style matches your personality. Firebender, definitely. Angry, dangerous, probably setting your enemy on fire along with a dozen trees, your own boat, probably a few birds somewhere in there...

Culturally spreading like fire with no solid structure... This is bad fire-nation tactics if I ever saw it. I just... there's just... *Sigh.*

MALON
[Image: kaiopal.gif]
You are a "New Age" Airbender helping rebuild the Air Temples.

I would definitely say you have waterbender vibe about you. You tend to roll with the punches, but creep up like an unexpected wave to rock the boat. Strong familial bonds supports this, though the distaste for winter might be a bit of a hankering. On the flip side, your love for animals and oppenness to meet new people has the air of Airbender mentality, as well as the desire to help others. Not to mention that sweet tooth.

Combat is straight up Airbender. You don't mind getting in close, then using your speed to your advantage to dodge, evade and get in a few nonlethal "blows" (pun intended) to wear down a target. The willingness to evade a fight entirely is definitely an airbender tactic.

Culturally, there is a heavy Air Nation presence with a sprinkle of Waterbender homesteading. Don't mind those fancy words, they make sense to me. Maybe. Essentially, you prefer smaller pockets of domains like Temples or Cities over numerous smaller villages, and you prefer to acquire them without warfare.

CHAKRAVARTIN
[Image: tumblr_nd7bjfnSfR1r890b8o4_500.gif]
You are an incarnation of the Dark Avatar, most likely born an Earthbender.

From your personality... wow... heck of a personality there... Ehem. Your personality is the darkside of Airbending. Revolutionary, sociopathic, very (if not completely) disengaged. Some might say you have a very weak, if not nonexistant empathy. Take an Airbender's desire to be free, remove their cultural inhabitions and taboos, and bam... it's all about you.

Your combat style suggests an Earthbender - quite heavily in fact. Pun. But seriously, powerful defense, lethal power, blocking and disengage over counterstrike all fall in line with the greatest bender; Bumi. Adaptive stances also resembles Toph. This is pretty cut and dry Earthbender style.

Adding in a third element, your culture is definitely Firebender during the 100 year war. You are the perfect nation, now share that perfection with the world.

Personality:
Well, I don't really know you, but what can few questions hurt?

1) Top five foods?
Sushi, Fish, Chicken, Noodles, and Steak, pretty much anything that is meat.

2) Someone disagrees with you. How do you respond?
I attempt to persuade them with my charm and cat ears. If that fails, I cut off their fingers until they love me. Just kidding, I like to joke, sometimes.

3) How do you react if you are being bullied?
Give them one chance to stop and cut their fingers and toes off if they persist.

4) How do you react if someone else is being bullied?
No chance. I'm cutting every index off your body, prick. Especially if its a friend being harassed.

5) Your father is on his death bed. You know you are in his will to inherit something great. How do you feel?
Money and gains are for fat slobs, I respect my father's death and take only if he persists I take it.

6) How do you regard your sibling?
Well, I'm an only child, but I like making Murasaki groan in frustration, does that count?

7) How do you feel about strangers?
Strangers are just friends that you haven't met yet!

8) What is your favorite season and why?
Winter, I'm from Atlas you see, the snow is crazy there, it's pretty much always winter.

9) Top five random things you like?
Swords, killing demons/grimm/monsters, magic, Fish(to eat), Baths

10) Top five random things you dislike?
Hot climate, rabid dogs, Mice, zombies(DA PSTD), seeing my friends hurt

Combat:
Oh I'm good at these!

Offense or Defense?
PFFFFFF, do you not see this sword bro?(Offense)

Speed or Power?
Why not both! I like to have decent switch between the two.

Lethal or Nonlethal?
Monsters? Lethal; Non-monsters? Non-lethal

Long, medium or close range?
Again, the sword?(Close)

Rigid Traditional stance, or mobile Adaptive stance? *
Adaptive of course, training in many types of techniques makes you confusing and unpredictable. Also I kind of taught myself how to use my Zweihander so, no formal training.

Block or evade?
Can't I just kill them? That's why I hit really hard anyways. I guess if I had to I'd evade.

If struck, counter-strike or disengage and reevaluate?
Dammit I got hit? I'm punch 'em harder tenfold. Is that applicable? Oh- Counter-strike yeah.

Sneak attack, sneak around or openly engage?
How many time must I point to this sword? Does it look like a dagger to you?(Open)

Fight or flee?
Really? Don't you have any better questions? Who runaways when they're fighting? Cowards.

Response to overwhelming odds?
Hit harder. Hit more. Don't be a wuss.

Culture:
Alright hit me

Arrange the following by priority: Political power, personal freedom, public safety, interactive community
Public Safety, Interactive Community, Personal Freedom, Political Power

Arrange the following by priority: Expand outwards, develop inwards, colonize, stabilize
Stabilize, Develop Inward, Colonize, Expand

Describe your definition of "Honor"
Honour is as skewed a word as love. It means many things to many people. But I guess you're referring to my personal opinion? Well, Honour in battle is one thing. But, Glory is more defining word. Honour is being able to respect others and put your life on the line for the people you care about, or the people you rule over. Protect your men, get everyone home alive.

What does "War" mean to you?
War is when two major powers seek destroy each other for their own cause. It tears apart families destroys bonds of friends and encourages blood letting. I love a good fight, but needless shedding of blood is for a barbarian. Though, my style suggests such, I am no mindless animal.

What would you consider a popular hangout for teenagers? (14-17 ish)
Idk? Me and Murasaki had this awesome icecream shop in Vale, Dave's Ice cream was the best.

What would you consider a popular hangout for young adults (18-30 ish)
A tavern or a bar or whatever? A lot of people in Fort Amber enjoy that stuff.

What would you consider a popular hangout for middle aged adults? (31-60-ish)
*Laughs bemusedly* A bingo hall!

What would you consider a popular hangout for the elderly? (61 and over)
Perhaps anywhere with an early bird special, or a gold course?

Describe your culture's food and drink of preference (alcohol included, but not necessary)
I know the nobles, like the Schnee's probably drank really fancy wines and stupid artsy-fartsty shit like that. I wouldn't know, most of my diet is fish and meats.

Define Patriotic.
Faith in one's country. Does not have to be military or political, but overall, just the hope that your country will make through their rough spots and prosper.

There I'm done, what do I win? Sushi? Please tell me you brought California Rolls.

You are an Enlightened Firebender living after the war.

Your personality screams battle ready, especially in the name of defense (perhaps even Honor-related?) I'm lead to believe you might be either a Firebender with a playful spirit and passionate drive, or an aggressive Waterbender, due to your strong familial bonds. The oppenness to strangers suggests a hint of Air Nation hospitality, and pre 100-year war Firebender acceptance.

The fighting style is VERY aggressive, but not necissarily always lethal. You prefer a new age technique and a method of takedowns that might not outright slay humans - yet leaves no mercy for monsters. This is almost ancient Fire Nation techniques, with new age influence.

Culturally... this is all about safety and a bit of what I think is almost playful aggression. Hot blooded but not necessarily full of hate.

[Image: 5237942-tumblr_lxeiemkdpe1r1nmpao3_250.gif]
You are NOT a Bender. You are an ex Yu Yan Archer.

You have a very neutral personality with inclinations that could be derived from any nation. I'm not quite sure what else to say about it, honestly, this is pretty evenly balanced and could be from anything, while not quite applying to everything.

Your combat style is remnescient of Airbender, due to neutrality, and the tendency to fight smart and with non-lethal force reinforces this, but the hankering is your lack of opinion on stances. This throws a monkey wrench into being a bender, which usually deals with a control of the body to master the control of your element.
