Character name: Mario "Super Mario" Mario
Character source: Super Mario series
Character history: It all started a long time ago, in a little corner of Brooklyn called the Super Mario Brothers Plumbing Service. Two brothers, a few tools, and a lot of heart. But one day, as they were doing their job fixing up an old dilapidated house near Queens... Something happened. People reported that the famous Mario Bros. had gone missing. Some joked that they'd gotten lost in the sewers. Little did they know, they were becoming heroes elsewhere.
For years, the two plumbers explored their newfound home, the Mushroom Kingdom. Saving the princess from the evil King Bowser Koopa in the process, while picking up loads of skills on the sides. Medicine, carpentry, party hosting, kart racing, and likely any sport you can think of. But where Mario really shined was his jumping ability. However, this wouldn't stop him from finding a mysterious black pipe in the ground. Once he took the chance... He ended up in the Omniverse.

A calling card of Mario's, and an old classic weapon. He's quite used to using this old thing, and can easily swing it around. However, he can't really throw it, as it's a bit hard to. So instead, he just opts to swing it. The first mode of use is with a single hand. It's easy enough to wield that way, and it's quicker. It's less tiring, but less powerful and harder to control. The second mode is a two-handed style. With this, he moves a little bit slower with it, to accommodate swinging his whole weight around with it. This makes it more tiring. But because of this, he can hit with much more force behind his swings. The range of these two versions of the attack is two feet.Lastly, Mario can switch to two hands and begin spinning the thing around, creating a little hammer top of doom. This increases his range to quite a large margin, but is nearly impossible to control, and is incredibly tiring if held for a long period of time. This has a range of five feet, all around him.
The hammer itself is pretty simple. The handle is a large wooden stick, capable of standing up to a lot of use and banging around. The head is a cylinder-shaped, black slab of metal. It's really heavy, but Mario can whirl it around with ease.
