Character Name: Roarin Keenblade
Character Source: Dungeons & Dragons 3.5e, various source books
Character History:
The Tribe of Mount Miardar is lead by Yimna Trueblade, Roarin's great aunt. From a young age, he joined the masses in admiring the elder. She was the first to rise above the simple life of the Barbarian and attend the Warrior's Guild run by the Dwarves that made home inside the very mountain that held the Tribe's village. Yimna's impressive prowess as a Swordsage - in both knowledge and fighting skill - held promise to take the barnarian Goliaths and turn them into something greater.
Roarin wished to follow in her footsteps, but not by becoming a carbon copy. As with all Goliaths, he had the competitive nature that made him want to surpass the Chieftain, despite being fifth in line and unlikely to ever take the title. He dabbled both as a Swordsage with the Dwarfs, and as an Artificer with the humans that dwelled in the valley below. He even trained under a Samurai, though he would never choose a liege, making him one of the few Wandering Samurai trained by traditional methods.
By the age of fifteen, he had already inspired half of the fifty youths in the village to branch out and learn from Masters other than crude barbarians. He was surprised to find writing becoming a widespread interest, where before most Goliath would never know what a quill is. He was proud of himself. His kin were proud of him. Some so proud, that by this time they had stepped down and he had gone from fifth in line to third. Not that he would ever be Chieftain.
With his name growing, Roarin's parents stepped in. His father had arranged for a marriage between him and the daughter of his Artificer Master, a lovely young Human girl. Many might have been upset with a lack of choice, but Roarin was nonresistant. The only reason he had become a student was after saving her life. She was very lovely and rather entertaining too, making her completely tolerable as a life-companion.

Move [Type]:
- Stances can be used endlessly, repeatedly and activated at will. However, only one stance can be active at Roarin's current level of training. He can shift stances, but all benefits of the previous stance are lost before the new benefits are gained.
- Weapons are weapons, or methods of attack. Weapons can be wielded in the primary hand, or the offhand. The primary hand gains benefits of full strength on attack, while offhand gains only half. Duel wielding at Roarin's current level suffers heavy penalties to accuracy due to lack of training.
- Infusions are neither Divine nor Arcane, and can only be used on nonliving (more specifically, nonbiological) objects. Sentient Constructs CAN be infused.
- Fodder includes anything which does not directly effect other Primes, but is frequently used, important to Roarin's story, or that is usable at a small level with definite intentions of improvement in the near future (IE placeholder.)
- The original Ability Scores for the character were calculated by using the Ability Score Modifier on a ratio of 1:1 Ability Modifier: Stat Point. Limited stat points meant a reduction of stats was necessary, which was done according to the ratio of "desired Stat spread."
- Roarin in Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 is considered a level 4 character, with one level in Swordsage, Samurai and Artificer, plus the +1 Level Adjustment7 for Goliath. Each Omniverse level increases all class-levels by 1, but each individual aspect must be purchased individually. Meaning if no new classes are gained, Roarin will be Epic level by Omniverse level 7 (Being at D&D level 22.)
- 3.5 to Omniverse conversion allows for "Hollow Levels" meaning though he may be Epic Level, he may still fight like a level 5 Warrior if appropriate moves, powers and proficiency are not purchased. It does, however, open up Epic-level abilities.
- No D&D classes can be learned between leveling up. New classes begin at level 1, no matter Roarin's Omniverse-based level, but still receive +1 for every level thereafter.
- Roarin's desired Stat score is: ATK: 6, DEF 4, SPD 2, TEC 6
- Roarin's base Ability scores (and modifiers) are:
- Strength: 22 (+6) 18 base, + 4 Goliath - becomes Attack
- Dexterity: 14 (+2) 16 base, -2 Goliath - becomes Speed
- Constitution: 18 (+4) 16 base, +2 Goliath
- Intelligence: 14 (+2) Adds to Tec
- Wisdom: 14 (+2) 13 Base, +1 LVL4 Adds to TEC
- Charisma: 12 (+1) Adds to Tec
