Hello everyone!
Anyone want to rp somewhere? I've got a thread going on in Coruscant if you want to meet Arius, but it can end if you want to go on an adventure somewhere else. I'm open to anything.
Coruscant is definitely your best chance at getting a group to write together, since most of our members are out that way. There's a few people in most every Verse, but most of them have a storyline going already... and may or may not have active participants any longer. Myself and Greg are looking to remedy the activity lull. Here's to hoping, pal!

I plan on having Inlumia go around to each of the verses, in order, and research Omni. There are quite a few things that don't add up properly, and he will be looking into them.
He will also be looking into ways to help the Pale Moors, which will be his last stop and main area once he is finished. I think Camelot would be able to provide some information regarding necromancy that can help. Coruscant may be interested in helping Darkshire for 2 reasons: get a base established there and to learn more about how to fight magic.
Anyone wants to join him, feel free. he will be doing other things on his way, but that's his main plan.

This isn't a story request so much as a request for participants in a story. Harry is going to be doing some... remodeling... in the ruins of Edinburgh. These are located on one of the mountains near Minas Tirith. If anyone wants to curiously wander along, they're more than welcome. I'll be advancing the plot to the point where they're actually at Edinburgh in a day or two, depending on events

Inlumia would be interested. Old ruins sometimes have spirits hanging around them.
If you sent word to Camelot asking for people who are willing to help, or if Samus returned to Camelot and told the others about it,Inlumia would not mind heading that way.
He'll be in Camelot for a while.

I need a little something to do that'll get me some kudos from the Dunes. Picking off bandits. Negotiating with Jawas. Bring new revenue and prosperity to the Town with No Name. Ganon's looking to get in good with these folks.

What about, setting up the place as part of a criminal trade route between Coruscant and the Ashen Plains? Poaching would interest a few people. Instead of being poachers yourselves, encourage poachers to pass through your area and charge them for the stay. You will also be making connection with different criminal groups when you do that.
Some of the richer people will be thrill seekers who won't be able to pass through the portal into the nexus, or in other cases wish their activities to be known and recorded.

Short term stories:
-Kill a token scifi desert monster, like a giant sandworm or something.
-Volunteer/offer to go help a TwNN outpost under frequent attack by raiders/bandits/psychos
-Retrieve black market goods that Roland needs to continue to defend the town (this could take you to other verses if you so desire, or simply to seedy characters further out in the Dunes)
Long(er) term
-An earthquake or a sandstorm has revealed new ruins that aren't on any previous maps. Roland wants them charter and plundered before more blackhearted elements secure them. You could also make this short-term or make it longer term by giving the ruins some mystery or whatnot.
-Destroy the *Insert Name* Bandits - You are tasked with routing a force of bandits encroaching on territory that falls under the TwNN's influence. This is a long-term effort that will involve elements of combat, suberfuge, and other fun stuff.
-Thunderdome - Survive a brutal battle royale event held in a coliseum out in the Dunes. Victory gets you prizes and, perhaps more importantly, major street cred.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. Hell, I can even use all these ideas into one large arcing story. Roland sends me out to defend a caravan carrying munitions and supplies for the TwNN. We arrive at a small outpost after holding off the bandit hoards, only to come under attack from an enormous sandworm. Curious as to where this beast came from, we track it to come unmarked ruins not on any map. After exploring, and looting/destroying the source of the creature, we emerge to find the ruins surrounded by a bandit company which had masterminded the creature's escape. As entertainment, they thrust us into mortal combat which their champions, strange creatures, and eventually ourselves. As we make our escape, we take out the bandit leaders, effectively destroying the chain of command and the resulting battle for supremacy destroys the band from within.
You're the best, Protie!

Maybe don't get into anything too massive, if you're intent on joining the next story in the Green/Moors. :p
Curious about me and the characters I play? See the 'Staff' page! See also the rosters for my characters Samus Aran or Enel if you'd like to see examples of well-formatted rosters. Hope you enjoy the Omniverse!

Another call for action; Harry's thread, "Be Welcome to the Seat of the Council", could use participation. I've got what I consider a "maybe" on Samus showing up, but there's metal stakes in various walls in the ruins of Edinburgh. Follow them far enough and Harry's wards will alert him to your character's presence at the gates. Door's standing wide open, too.
I suppose I'll take one or two of those to knock out before that starts, then get into the new story coming up.

I think I'd like to go about making one of these here story requests. Something wherein Kuzan could get some information or ask some questions about what's what and such would be great, if possible, but anything will work nicely. It can be just an idea detailed out or whatever whoever wants to do.
Thanks and much appreciation in advance.

Anything particular he wants to learn or just generic information about the Omniverse and Omnilium and whatnot?
If no one's beat me to the punch by tomorrow night, I'll see what I can to help you get the ball rolling.

Eventually he's probably going to want to learn some specific things, but at the moment just general stuff about the Omniverse and etc. is what he's after so he can figure out what those specifics are.
...if that makes sense.

Okay, I'll spew out a few ideas, and I hope one of them is something you can either work with or manipulate into something you work with.
The most basic yet customizable concept I can come along with is for Kuzan to stumble across a denizen of Dalaran.
Perhaps an absent-minded wizard or a bumbling, inept assistant. Someone who would solicit his help in traveling the distance from the Gate to Dalaran. Why? They might be transporting valuable possessions and under the threat of highwaymen (makes me e think of a Fable game or something) or perhaps they're transporting black-market goods into the city and need help eluding certain individuals. Or it could be WTF-level crazy and they're being hounded by demons or something. Either way, when you're not dealing with action conflict, the character could act as Kuzan's guide to what the hell the Omniverse is, whether it's stories around a camp or just shooting the breeze on the cobblestone paths. As a scholar and/or black market trader, they'd certainly be able to answer his inquiries and provide some history.
Does that framework suit your needs? If you need a sounding board, I'll be able to help, otherwise good luck!
Edit: Also, sorry for the delay, I meant to do this over my break earlier, but I got hounded by too many other things.

Aye, those are some ideas that can definitely give me something to work with, and I'm sure I can come up with something from all of them. Thanks very much!
And don't worry about the delay, sometimes life happens. It's a thing.

You may or may not wish to avoid any area Enel is active in.
He is currently with Ganondolf in the Endless Dunes.
If you get to Daralan and try to find the library, you may end up at a certain tavern I and Harry are currently at.
I like the idea of a WTF crazy mage being Kuzan's guide and adviser. Imagine the rubbish he could give as advise!

Hah. Well, I hadn't planned on going to the Dunes any time soon, but now I have a reason to not go there, I suppose. Don't want nothin' to do with that bunch any time soon. And the library, you say? Hmm. Might keep that in mind for later, possibly.
And yes, crazy mages are always good for fun times and laughs. And good advice.
