Story Requests - Omni - 08-01-2013
You can be as specific or unspecific as you like, though you should include where your current location is or where you want the story to take place. For example, you might say “give me a story anywhere” or “give me a story for five people in the Vasty Deeps” or “give me a mystery story in Camelot” or “give me a story for the Endless Dunes where I get to beat up robots”. A staffer might respond, or a regular member might. If you don’t like the story you’re given, you’re free to request another, just remember that nobody is obliged to come up with story ideas for you!

Location: Darkshire; The Pale Moors
Genre: Adventure, Vampires, Supernatural
Goal: Help the Village of Darkshire in exchange for information about the creatures of darkness who plague their lands.
Difficulty: Medium
Description: Maximillion seeks a greater understanding of the Omniverse, and it's implications on a Child of the Night like himself. In order to gain this much sought-after information, he has endeavored to travel to The Pale Moors, and has arrived in Darkshire. He is going around, seeking information about the place, and is trying to figure out how to get to wherever the largest concentration of dark power is, and whomever the source of it is.
What is needed: NPC feedback and, if possible, someone on Staff to tell me (and whomever else may party with me) what we will encounter whilst here, since we (players and characters alike) aren't in-the-know about what these Verses hold in store for us.

It's a writing site, so I'm hoping that people make up their own stuff. The verse descriptions give you the basic idea, and you build from that. I can tell you OOC that Dracula is the big bad of the Pale Moors, he basically took over where Diablo left off after he banished. Lemme know if you still want a quest and either me or Jeff will come up with something (or anyone else can toss you a story idea).

I would love such a quest! In Maximillion's original timeline, it was one Wallachian Vampire who helped Maximillion tap into his ancient Vampiric powers, to manifest them at will and use them. Since Maximillion isn't a canon Bram Stoker/Hellsing/etc character, I'm sure it would be taboo to RP them having a preexisting relationship, but Maximillion would be immediately interested in investigating the rumors upon learning this....
And I, as a player, would definitely love to journey down this particular road, whether Dracula should prove friend, ally or foe.

I replied to the scramble and am now by the fountain trying to interrogate like a tough guy (not knowing who I was really talking to) so if you reply that'd be fine. Whatever's easier for you dude. I appreciate it regardless.
Also not sure if I said it but for some reason I remember skimming by and seeing it, congrats on expecting. We are too, nine weeks in and growing more nervous by the day, lol.

Decided to do this wanted poster style, as I'm still strapped for time a bit. Here goes:
Lightning/Kairi:
Living in a Wampa Wonderland.
-While you're enjoying your cave camping, a Wampa wanders back home and attacks! Oh my! A powerful beast, you struggle just to survive until a stranger from deeper in the cave tosses a flash-bomb at it and disorients it, calling for you to follow him quickly. As you follow this mysterious stranger through the winding passages, you thoroughly lose track of where you are until you suddenly emerge into a lighted cave. The stranger was a dwarf and he tells you that something has brought the usually hermit-like Wampas closer to civilization and that he'd like you two to find out why! More details as the story progresses!
Spawn/Cole:
Never bring a dog to a monster fight!
-As you walk through Coruscant, you see a wanted poster plastered to almost every building and available space. It's certainly not a government poster, as it's style is fairly amateur. It says that in the deeper recesses of Coruscant, a man is genetically breeding creatures and having them fight. This is an obvious violation of animal rights and needs to be stopped. Anyone who is able to either find the man responsible, end the fights, or end him stands to receive a reward from the Coruscant Animal Rights and Equality Brotherhood Association (Rights Reserved) [C.A.R.E.B.e.A.R.s] More details to come as the story progresses!
