An Angel Among the Wind (Open)

[Chloe Price]

"I guess you didn't like being frozen too much, did you?" I asked Raina. "Don't worry; everyone gets angry sometimes." I then continued towards the path. Vibe then tripped on what seemed to be a rock, and landed face-first into the sand. He then got up, spitting sand out of his mouth. After the sand was out of his mouth, he turned around to find it was a frozen rock. "Why on Earth did Snart just freeze a-" He was then bombarded by Snart, who froze both of his feet in place. "...Rock..." Sisco finished. "Hello again, heroes..." Snart said. He was obviously showing wear from the previous fight. There were a few scorch marks on his parka, and a bit of a mark from when I used a Speed Pulse on him. "I see you've wandered right into my trap." Captain Cold then said.

"Trap?" I asked. "What kind of trap is this? I could leave any time I-" In an instant, I was interrupted by Laura Jannett warping in. "Laura Jannett..." I said, staring at Laura. She was a teleporter, black, in a casual outfit. "Hey there, Speedster..." Laura said, smiling. "So I see you've met my new partner...I guess I should introduce the girl..." Snart said, pointing at Raina. "...Whatever your name is, meet Laura Jannett..." Snart said. I ran at Laura, who teleported out of the way. I turned to chase her again, she warped again. "VIBE, NOW YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT TELEPORTERS!" I said, continuing to chase Laura only to be denied by her warping over to a different spot.

[Raina]

This woman and this man. Nothing but trouble. Her eyes flashed with anger. She circled her hand around and formed a circle. "Gaea! Embrace me and enter the circle! Crush!" She said as she slammed her fist into the circle blasting a boulder at the freeze man. She refused to let this man win! She must defeat him! "You don't know me! I am Raina Lynna Dawne Scylar, Princess Royal of the Angels. I am not someone a mortal like you wants to mess with!" She said as she got into a fighting pose, and created more circles around her. She refused to let this teleporter or the freezing man get in her way.

Raina started punching into the circles and saying "Ignite!" With each one. Soon she had five fireballs aiming towards the freezing man. "Eat flame!" She said.

[Chloe Price]

Snart saw the attack coming this time, and blasted ice at each fireball, the attacks cancelling each other out. "Too easy when I see it coming." Snart said, smirking. The teleporter warped up to Raina and attacked her, performing two powerful punches. "You know, you can't actually harm me..." Laura said. She teleported, and appeared behind Raina. "I'm too quick..." Laura then added, from behind. I suddenly attacked Laura, performing three swift punches and a kick. Laura responded by warping behind me and performing a leg sweep, taking me down. I responded with an uppercut, knocking Laura down and allowing me to land on my feet once again. Laura got up, getting weak. "Alright, Speedster...You're good..." Laura said. "Yes I am." I replied, smirking, before charging kinetic energy into my fist and...

FZZZZZAP!

Another electric punch is landed, this time on Laura. She is knocked unconscious. "Alright, we have Laura. Now for Snart." I said to Raina, running back to her.

[Raina]

Raina was furious at this man. So he thought her attacks were predictable? Let's see him freeze something without shape! Raina created a magic circle in front of her and chanted. "Sylph's domain enter thine circle and Eradicate my enemies! Gust!" She said as she slammed her fist into the circle.
A strong wind blew towards Captain Cold. The wind was so strong it cut everything in it's path like knives. How could he freeze something without a form?

Raina knew his freeze wouldn't affect her with the storm so she kept at it summoning circle after circle of her wind magic to decimate the villain. She knew she had to do everything in her power to stop him, even if it meant hurting herself. She felt herself wobble a little as her magic waned and she fell to the ground unconscious.

She was floating in a black space. Not like the one where Omni introduced Raina to this world. The black space of her mind. In front of her was the girl she was months ago, clad in a long dress, meek and fragile. "What... what is this?" Raina asked.

"I am here to remind you of something. "The Other Raina said. "You were never the damsel, Raina. You were always fighting for good and what was right. Just like you are now. Just because we did it politically, doesn't mean we were not a hero. Please, don't confuse valor with power. Our sister did that and look what happened." She continued before disappearing in the blackness.

[Chloe Price]

I saw the attack. Everything in the gusts was cut like it was hit by a knife. If I didn't get Snart out of that attack, he would die, with the combined might of what was about to hit and his previous injuries. This would mean risking myself, but I had to try. I ran in, and pulled Snart out of the way of what would be the end of him. Snart just smirked as soon as he was out of the way of the attack. "Great save, Speedster...But I hope you realize, I would never do the same for you." Captain Cold told me. "Yeah, but I'm not you." I responded. "Now, then, I guess I owe you..." Snart said. He then went and froze, not one, but BOTH of my feet in place. "Someday, but not today..." Snart then added as he walked away.

"Just great...I'm stuck again, but with TWO feet stuck..." I said. "Let me help you out there." Vibe responded. He crouched down and started to use vibrations on the ice off my right foot. The ice cracked, and eventually broke, and just like before I found Raina, a shard flew into my foot. "AHH!" I shouted, in great pain. "Sorry...Can't exactly control which way the ice goes when I break it this way..." Vibe said. He got the ice off my other foot, this time no wound. "I really hope Raina wakes up soon..." I said, holding my right foot, which still had the shard in it. Vibe got the shard out of my foot.

[Raina]

Slowly the darkness faded into a burst of white light and Raina regained consciousness. She slowly tried to set up to no avail. She was weak from the multicasts. She finally was able to hold her self up a little and held her head with her hand. "Owies. What happened? My head... it is so fuzzy." She said shakily. It was obvious she wasn't used to casting during a battle and poured all her strength into that last attack. "Captain... cold.. Did we get him?" She said quietly. She looked at her comrades and noticed Flash's foot. "Oh my goddess. What happened!" She said as she tried to move herself closer.

[Chloe Price]

"Snart got away again, and when Vibe used vibrations to get the ice off my foot, a shard went right into my foot." I explained. "Don't blame me, I can't control where the shards go and it's the only method I've got to get the ice off." Sisco said. "It's okay, buddy, just be more careful." I said. "Okay." Vibe responded. "...Gah...That one hurt a bit more than before, though..." I said, holding my foot. I raised my hand; my foot was definitely bleeding. "The cut's pretty deep..." Vibe said, staring at the wound. "...Can you heal it...Raina...?" I asked Raina, limping towards her.

[Raina]

Flash's foot looked bad. The ice was in there deep. Raina's eyes started to swell with tears, she hated anyone to be hurt, even her enemies. She always cried when she seen blood or injuries. This was different though, this was her fault. His injury was because she was careless, untrained. She wasn't trying to kill Captain Cold. Just incapacitate him. "I am so sorry Flash. Please forgive me! I didn't mean for this to happen. I just wanted to help." She said as she sobbed. The tears hit Flash's foot as Raina started to glow and sparkle like before. Her tears were healing his wound. She continued to cry even after his wound was healed.

"I'm sorry. I am so useless, I try to help and all it does it cause you pain. I am no fighter, I am not my sister." She said as she hung her head low.

[Chloe Price]

"It's okay...It's not your fault..." I said to Raina, trying to calm her down. "If anything, it's Snart's fault..." Sisco then added. I then turned towards Sisco. "Honestly, Vibe, you're just as much to blame as Snart. I mean, you made the Cold Gun..." I said to Vibe, who put his mask back on. "Yeah, I'm sorry about that...Honestly, I didn't think it would get this out of hand..." Vibe responded. "Well, at least we don't have anyone WORSE to handle, like-" I was cut off by another Speedster running by, creating a similar lightning trail. The Speedster stopped in front of me.

The opponent was in a dark yellow suit that faded to black around the bottom half, a yellow mask similar to mine, but with a reverse color scheme, and glowing red eyes. He was also vibrating back and forth at super speed, obscuring his identity and disguising his voice; the Reverse Flash. "Hello, Flash..." The Man in Yellow said. "Reverse Flash..." I said, turning back towards the Man in Yellow and getting into a battle stance.

"Need an explanation?" Vibe asked Raina, turning towards her. "The Reverse Flash is the only guy I know who can outrun the Flash. He killed The Flash's mother when he was still young, and now they're pretty much worst enemies." Vibe then explained.

[Raina]

Raina saw this Reverse Flash. She stood up and just stared at his vibrating form. "I have had enough of these villains. Hey Goldilocks! How about you just give up now? I am tired, angry, and not in the mood to have to hurt you." She said as she formed a circle followed by another. This could be bad. Really bad, if not played right. She readied herself to quickly strike her circles if she had to. She didn't know what this man's intentions. She steadied her footing and accidentally caused her breasts and to jiggle a little.

Her eyes were serious and intense. They seemed to glow a little, almost like a small crimson flame was in each iris. "What is your problem with him? This man has been nothing but kind and heroic since I met him. If you think there is something bad with that then maybe understand, mortal. That the reason right is why you have no one on your side at the moment." She said as she slammed her fist into the first circle. "SMITE!" She called out as a searing beam of light flashed towards the Villain.

She steadied her position and grasped her hands into a tight fist as she watched to see what he would do about her spell before she cast the second. She eased her breathing, not allowing her emotions to overcome her. She had to win this bout. Could not afford to have both Cold and Reverse Flash on their trail.

[Chloe Price]

The Reverse Flash ran, going faster than Raina saw me run. "This is between me and the Flash..." the vibrating figure claimed. "As for why I attack, it is not the place nor the time to explain..." He then went for a full on charge, attacking Raina and performing five swift punches in a combo. He then started to circle Raina, in a similar manner to the past. Sighting it, I remembered the night the Reverse Flash killed my mother...

He was circling her in the exact same way, with another Speedster fighting him. After a few minutes of watching the fight, I was whisked away by the Speedster facing the Reverse Flash. I ran back to find my father was being arrested, and my mother was dead.

I then stopped looking back at it and decided to fight back. I ran into the fray, and me and the Reverse fought. It was like a tornado of electricity, and it was revolving around Raina. Eventually, the Reverse Flash exited the electric spin, and I chased after him. I just barely caught up, and grabbed him, holding him back, before delivering a few punches. We were just barely in vision of Raina and Vibe. I exchanged super-speed punches with the Reverse Flash for five minutes, before he gained the upperhand. Performing a sturdy uppercut, the Reverse Flash knocked me unconscious. He then ran off.

Vibe ran over to my side, dragging Raina with. "FLASH!" Vibe shouted. He checked my pulse. "It's going a little fast, but that's normal for him..." Vibe said. "He'll be alright..."

[Raina]

He moved so fast she couldn't react. The strikes themselves would heal easily with her powers but that did not nullify the pain. She fell to her knees and cried out in pain. It was no use! She was not strong enough to fight these villains. She was in over her head. She stayed on the ground long enough for her wounds to heal and for her to regain her composure. She looked down at her self and was shocked. Barely a scratch on her. Her body was a lot stronger on this world then she thought.

Vibe quickly grabbed her arm and led her to Flash. "Damnit, I am fine!" She said as she shook him off. "Does he need healing?" She flipped her hair over her shoulder as she got on her knees to try and wake him up softly. "Flash? Are you there? Wake up! We need you!" She said as she tried to shake him a little. "I could try water. Stand back Vibe." She said as she created a circle above Flash's head. "Drown!" She said as she gently placed her hand on the circle and just let the water fall on his head instead of blasting him roughly. After all she didn't want to hurt him.

[Chloe Price]

I woke up from the water. "COLD! COLD! THIS WATER IS VERY COLD!" I shouted as tons of water blasted into my face. As the water calmed down, I got up. "...Thanks..." I said. "But the Reverse Flash got away..." I then added. "Let's just hope that we don't run into Snart again now - he could easily freeze me in place." I complained. So far, the wounds from the battle didn't seem severe - I had a few bruises on my arm, and a burn spot on my face from the lightning, but other than that, I was okay. "I think I'm okay...Just a few marks from the battle, but other than that, I'm fine..." I said. "You sure?" Vibe asked. "Yeah...I'm sure..." I responded. "Okay..." Vibe shrugged.

"Honestly, I have no idea where Snart OR Reverse Flash went anymore..." I said, clueless. "So, Raina...You're the princess...You have experience with leading, so...Lead." I then said to Raina, turning towards her.

[Raina]

Raina stood up and turned away sadly. "I guess you can't really count me as a princess then. I was sheltered and hidden in the castle. But I will try!" She said as she opened her eyes and listened to the wind blow. The elements have never really let her down and she felt she must not betray her beliefs in order to overcome obstacles. The wind howled and whispered secrets of this barren land. A small gust blew her hair back wildly, almost dancing with her hair. "East, the wind is telling me east is our path."

She spoke with a soft understanding as if the wind was an ally to her. Such a mystery this girl was. Just what power did she hold? She turned to Flash before she moved. "I think I need to patch you up before we go. We both know if Reverse Flash finds us I can't do much." She said as she started to shimmer once more healing his wounds.

[Victor Wolfe]

Victor materialised into the vast desert known as the Endless Dunes, sand and hills as far as the eye could see with the desert sun blazing down on him, Wolfe did not mind deserts, the heat was manageable with plenty of water, luckily he had came prepared and had a good supply in a bag, before Guu had dragged him from the dining hall he decided if he was going to a desert food and water might be useful as from memory there tends not to be too much of either, thus he stuffed his bag with as many bottles of water and dried foods that he could.

The only thing he would need to watch out for would be the night, deserts loss a lot of heat when the sun goes down and thus freezing to death can be a real problem, still it was nice to feel sand under his boots, it alway reminded him of some of his favorite missions stalking targets traveling through the desert, after all people entering a desert and never coming back out was common in such ... deadly environments.

Victor noticed what looked to be two people he had never seen before on the horizon, one was injured and the other appeared to be tending to his wounds with magic. A rare talent, white mages were well respected in Wolfe's home land, after all, you don't kill a person who you may require to patch you up one day.

The other guy appeared to be wearing a red and yellow latex suit of some kind, Victor did not often judge others fashion but even to him the appeared weird. Still there is very little chance that either would pose too much of a threat to them, But just to be cautious Victor uttered a small incantation causing his daggers to reappear in their scabbards at his waist, Drawing them to check that being sealed for so long had not dulled the blade, Victor examined the edge, satisfied that the blades were as sharp as the day they were made he kept them at his side, deciding it would not be a smart idea to approach a new group of people unarmed.

Wolfe suppressed his presence and ran at full speed towards the group making sure to stay out of eithers line of vision, until he was close enough to speak. " So it looks like you guys got into some trouble around here, what's such a pretty young lady and her bodyguard doing around here in such a dangerous place anyway?" Victor said with a grin clearly catching both people off guard " Why don't you tell me all about it , and we can share information? I have something I need to do here and I am guessing you are not here for the tanning weather so perhaps we could help each other out ?"

[Chloe Price]

I stared at the man in front of me, Vibe and Raina. He had a strange, black and red cloak, and had two daggers in their sheaths. He seemed like some sort of assassin. "Oh, I'm not her bodyguard. We're heroes." I said to the man. "I came here chasing a robber, and she...I don't remember why she's here." I then explained. "Yeah, and we're not sure how long we can be here, there's two major threats we need to take care of, so, yeah." Vibe said. "Wasn't it East you said we should go...Raina...?" I asked Raina, turning towards her. I had some doubts about this cloaked man; What was he here for? Where was he going? "So...Why are YOU here?" I asked the cloaked man.

[Raina]

Raina's eyes met the cloaked man's and she instantly had a weird feeling in her gut. Her heart started to palpitate rapidly. Her face lit up with a crimson blush as she stared into the cloaked figures red eyes. A single strand of her shimmering pink hair fell in front of her face as she stood up. Flash's words brought her back to reality asking her which way to go. "Yes. The wind tells me east will take us where we need to be." She said as she glanced at the man again and continued to blush. "What... what business do you have here?" She asked shyly.

A gentle breeze ran through the sky blowing the girls hair wildly. Her body seemed to glow with the sweat from the heat, but it only seemed to add to her beauty. She wrapped her arms around herself cutely as she looked at the cloaked figure.

[Victor Wolfe]

Victor was liking the reactions he was getting from the girl, Raina, what a pretty name he thought, after spending time with Guu and Okor he did not think he would get to see a pretty face ever again. With a quick burst of movement Wolfe moved close to Raina. He brushed the loose strands of hair over her ear and said seductively " Why I was just wandering in this barren desert and noticed a flower of unparalleled beauty, I as a true gentleman simply had to get a closer look, after all beauty should be admired, and few things are as soothing to the eyes as you my dear." The girl continued to blush wildly.

Victor decided he had best explain himself to the man, after all there was always time to flirt. "I had plans to meet up with friends who have a large influence over this area but I saw some people who looked like they might need help and like the good samaritan I am, I decided to see what could be done to help, I even bring a peace offering." Victor sheathed his daggers and gave a bottle of water to both the Flash and Raina. Victor tended to not like people who called themselves heros as they tended to interfere with his work, but in this case there goals seemed to cross over. After all two people causing trouble around the Dunes unchecked could cause problems for New Babylon later on.

" This Villain problem sounds very serious, after all they may cause trouble for the locals here, and it does not look like this area has a very strong security presence, that is why I want to help you hunt down these criminals and get them out of the Dunes, I think we can come to an alliance of convenience, and I would not mind spending some more time with Raina" Victor said with a smile. " My name is Victor Wolfe, what is yours ?"

[Chloe Price]

"They call me the Flash...And they call me that because of...Well...this." I said before completely circling Victor, five times, at super speed. I then stopped directly in front of him. "That's Vibe, over there, he can blast vibrations..." I pointed to Vibe. "And you have already met Raina." I pointed to Raina. "In case you are wondering about the villains we are facing, there's the Reverse Flash, who also has super speed, and then there's Captain Cold, who has a gun that can turn temperatures to Absolute Zero." I explained, turning back to face Victor. "We better get going...Captain Cold could be miles ahead of us by now." Vibe said, turning towards the East. "Yeah, who knows what trouble he's causing..." I said. I then started to walk towards the East, Vibe following. "Are you coming, Raina?" I asked Raina as I turned around, Vibe stopping as well.

[Raina]

His hands were warm on her face and his voice was silky but strong. Her heart continued to beat and her skin was flushed with blush. He spoke of her as a flower, an unrivaled beauty here in these sands. Something to soothe him. He handed her the water bottle and she took a little drink before trying to regain her composure. "Thank... Thank you. I am Raina Lynna Dawne Scylar, Princess of the Angels. I would honored if you would join us. You seem quite... capable." She said as she stuttered a little. Social settings were not her strong suit.

"Flash, We may need his strength if we run into Cold or even Reverse. What harm can it have by letting him join us? Surely someone with his well sculpted face could not be deceiving us. I cannot believe that everyone is a danger here, If I did I would of struck you two down upon meeting. Let us give this warrior a chance." She said in her sing song-y voice as she placed her hand over her breast almost like a salute. " We must head east to catch Cold before he harms anyone. Let us make haste!" she said as she started walking.
