Since I know Alex is going on vacation soon, and I've been unable to write as of yet, I'm gonna extend the deadline for his last post until he gets settled in after his vacation.

Thanks man but even if you go to the end of your time limit (ie can't post until tomorrow morning), I will make it work. I have Sunday morning as a failsafe.

Mind if I get a 7 hour extension on my post time? Runs out while I'm at work tomorrow and been slogged with kidding the last couple of days. Will finish by 10pm EST Saturday or you can take your go.

If you do mind, that's understandable as well and I'll try to throw out at least SOMETHING prior to deadline.

Alright, guys. It was pretty difficult to gauge the damage dealt for much of the fight because you guys both seemed to just... ignore it sometimes, so I had to use my own interpretation for how much your characters were actually hurt by attacks. And then I had to take stats into account. So, here we go!

- ANDROID 17 -

DAMAGE TOTAL: 17 damage points.

So, status? You're still kicking, but in dire need of healing. A Super Attack, even just a T1, plus a couple good hits will do that to you. Thanks to your DEF stat in comparison to Cell's ATK, however, as well as your stupendous skill in writing, you are not immediately killed by your accumulated injuries. In terms of writing, there were several typos that made some sentences challenging to read but I was still able to gather the meaning. I also didn't realize until the second round that 17 had teleported in the first round of the fight... "he was ushered back another fifteen feet" just didn't make it click for me. Good paragraph length and use of imagery! While I would've appreciated more on how Seventeen's previous injuries affected him-- some really visceral, painful appeals to the senses and junk--- your descriptions and grammar all seemed pretty impeccable. Your pacing was also nice and reflected the frenzied type of feeling I would expect from a fight like this. And the subtle jokes-- my gosh. Nice work.

DAMAGE TOTAL: 10 damage points.

Cell really took a beating in this fight! Despite his speed stat, it seems that a lot of A17's attacks really hit home. Some of your jokes were a little off the mark, too (Jamaican?????), but I suppose they reflect the deviant personality of Cell? Anyway, excellent work in keeping Cell's personality consistent throughout the fight! I really liked all of that internal commentary, and your dialogue was just the right amount of ham to make the dinner filling. In fact, the amount of dialogue you used would have been too much if it weren't for how well you handled it. It was still a liiii-ittle distracting from the action, though. I'd recommend trying to make more of an effort to describe the setting to balance out the amount of chit-chat. When he was searching for A17, you had several opportunities to remark on it. It would've helped to build suspense to contemplate all of his hiding places while taunting him! The... "chemistry" you had going between the two characters was enjoyable to read, just work on buffing up your descriptions. Good job!

Good fight, Alex. Tis unfortunate that I lost, but at least I continue my streak of never winning a fight ever. Should be an achievement at this point.
