How do base stats figure in? Would Desco with a lot of defense and att do a lot and block a lot of damage in face 2 face? What about people with base Stat increases?

They'll be factored into the writing process as applicable, but they won't be a determining factor in the outcome of a F2F.

After the event is over, will there be a point that players can get back on the island?

I ask because, if everyone carrying around an artifact is killed with them still having it, then the winner will be stacked with artifacts. So it seems smarter for someone who has an artifact but doesn't like their odds of winning to just leave in a spot and come back for it later.

I know you are stripped of items upon entering DA and I underatand why, but I do have a question. Can we keep our mobile dataverse devices? With the caveat that no one can send you messages or anything from outside DA. I think it would add some cool entertainment if we were able to smack talk eachother during the contest. Just a thought.

But, isn't it a but unrealistic in a survival setting? I mean you can't just be triggerhappy with that handcannon and not feel its consequences for being loud, right? Explosions aren't known to be discrete or subtle. It'll be like compensation, especially for the ones who gets the gag items...
they can like avoid it, hoping to get a better weapon from a less lucky prime somewhere. Also, more RP fodder.

The space of a square is huge. You may only move one square per day due to the size of the squares and thus and explosions outside of your square will be too far away.

However, Proto may step in and say that surrounding squares could hear or see it. If that were the case I'm sure it would likely be done through PM system.

@Desco - No changes. People with Survival will still accumulate damage as they normally would. They just don't have to rp being bothered by being all bloody.

@Carn/Sasuke - The squares are about 1x1 mile. There's really only one Weapon/SI in the game right now that I think would create a large enough explosion where nearby people would be like "HOLY FUCK" though.

Maybe these were answered already, but here's a couple:

Assists and Power-Ups have an SP cost based on rounds and posts. Would using one in a F2F count as the post cost or the round cost?

I think I already know the answer, but does SP regenerate naturally during this event, or is the amount we go in with all we have until the end? The former would allow for more explosive confrontations, while the latter will improve strategy as people will need to be careful how they spend their OM.

I can handle this... Its in the rules... You get SP= to your level +3. You can use them on power up's and super moves. The only way to gain more SP is an item.

ASSIST... Depending on what they are.. may or may not be allowed. I cant use my Lythians in this battle for example

I know this is a "Battle Royal" thing but is there a key component like trying to write to the audience and appeal to them. I keep on thinking hunger games and I think of those little packages that people send when they want the person to win. Will there be any of that?

Assists and Transformations all cost a certain amount of SP per post and that will remain unchanged during DA. A Face-to-Face use of a Tier 1 power up or Assist would deduct 1 SP from that characters pool of SP.

SP only regenerates if you acquire a Weapon/Support Item that restores SP (there is one).
