On the Road to Colosseum

[King Axorn]

"Well, that's humans for you." Axorn said, as he got off the bench and walked up to the stand with Dawnika. "They always find a way to make something good taste better. Come to think of it I think I'll get some food myself, I haven't eaten since I got here 1 or more days ago." Axorn walked up to the stand and ordered a chicken leg and some hot sauce. He pulled out a small orb of omnilium to pay for his food, picked up the chicken leg and the small wooden bowl of hot sause, and made his way back to the bench. Axorn sat back down and proceeded to dip the chicken leg in the hot sauce and take a huge bit out of it."Ahh man," Axorn said, swallowing his bite. "That hit the spot. These guys make a wicked hot sauce." Axorn then finished up his leg, including the bone, and lay back on the bench. "I forgot how good it feels to eat some real food once in a while." Axorn walked back up to the stand and returned the bowl, and then proceeded to use his claws as toothpicks, scraping out all the little bits of meat caught in between his teeth. As he walked back to the bench, he bumped into Ballad accidentally. Ballad turned and glared at Axorn, unintentionally giving Axorn a perfect view if his green malformed skin. "Oops, sorry." Axorn apologized. Axorn became curious of the man's attire and pushed it aside with the thought that he was just a competitor from another world. Axorn made his way through the crowd back towards the bench, hoping that this green-skinned man didn't have a short temper.

[Undyne]

"I guess so. Even their souls taste so much better than those of elves or orcies." She laughed and followed a few steps after Axorn, though while he bought his chicken she discretely went to a different store and bought one meter of sausage, one roasted chicken with chili sauce and two cinnamon apples with vanilla sauce at a couple of stores where Axorn and Dawnika couldn't see her. She ate half a meter of the sausage and the two apples then came back as if the chicken and the remaining sausage were the only things she had purchased. Hope they didn't notice... they'll think I'm gluttonous. But, she was a large dragon, a chicken leg or two would barely qualify as a snack in her book. If she didn't want to attend the tourney in a famished state she had to eat something proper.

As she was making her way back to where Axorn and Dawnika were she caught sight of someone with a small device similar to what Axorn had shown her, who projected an animated projection onto the wall. At first Alexyana thought he was using a Memory Cube like they were used in Ilan, but when she came closer she saw that it was an entirely different device. When the video ended the website was displayed again and before the user navigated away the dragoness noticed the "Dataverse Browser" writing at the top. Axorn mentioned that thing... so it's like the internet for the Omniverse? Maybe I can get myself one of those devices as well. She approached the man.

"I see you're using an item to use the Dataverse with?"
"Oh. Yup, that's a Dataverse device. You must be new around here if you don't know about those."
"I'll admit that I am, yes. Where can I buy those?"
"They're summoned with Omnilium, like just about everything else. Are you a Prime? Then you can summon it, otherwise you gotta ask a Prime to summon it for you, or buy it at a store somewhere."
"Right... well, thank you for the help! Good luck at the tournament if you're a participant." She then backed away and went back on her way.

While chewing on the sausage she found Axorn and Dawnika back at the bench and grinned at both of them. "You both got what you were looking for, I see? By the way, Axorn. While I was getting my stuff I ran into someone who's using a Dataverse device. Apparently you can summon them with Omnilium around here." She looked back to where she'd come from but the man was nowhere to be seen. "I'll probably get myself one of those after the tournament... or between fights if I have the time. I've already unlocked just about what I need in terms of abilities, so I feel rather safe." Although it was revealing her trump card to both of them - and they were participants in the tournament after all - she made a "hmph" noise and let out two small flames from her nostrils which burnt out within an instant. Her grin broadened before she tossed in what was left of the sausage. "Tashty... mmmph." Gulp. "You're right though, human food is delicious."

[Dawnika Snow]

Right now Dawnika did not see much use for this dataverse thingy. She needed to figure out how to reurn her abilities, especially Kagekousen. If she fought anyone faster than her, or someone who could fly she would be doomed. Kagekousen was an attack that only masters could learn, but hereIin the Omniverse Dawnika knew she could create anything her mind could think of. The only limit was that of a prime's mental barriers. Dawnika had to practice before the tournament started but she did not want to reveal her attacks to all the other competitors, not even Alexyana.

Leaning of the back of the bench Dawnika sighed and began to walk off from her friends. "I'll see you guys later. I must go and practice, but I cannot have anyone spying on my techniques. Farewell, for now, let us meet after the tournament." With that Dawnika was lost to the crowd of people around them.

She bumped through people until she found Konlal where she had left. "Good boy waiting on me. We are going to go do some training. Let us get away from the crowd." The horse held still as she climbed up on his back. She patted on the back of his neck to get him moving like she would usually do to get him moving and took off for the forrest. Time to get serious. I have to give it a try, if I do not try it I wont know if I can activate it. When she made it into the thick green, she found a tree to try the move out on and drew her sword.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Blackwing...please lend me your sword. Even in death I know your spirit lives in my heart. Give me the power to cut this tree in half. Her blade hummed softly and she grinned as the aura lit up blue suddenly. She charged the tree that was about twenty feet away and began to circle it, slicing it as fast as possible. The blade made a flash of noise that made it sound like she was using pure energy to cut through the tree. To finish, she slashed through the tree cutting it clean through and toppling it. The aura faded and she heard Blackwing's voice. I will do my best, for you."She continued to practice her form and attacks.
