Frog of Vibrance

This frog is so sexy, but to other frogs. Its skin is terribly soft and smooth, like velvet, and the color of a pale, almost grey blue sky after a chilling winter storm. Its flanks look to be carved out of marble, pure and dappled with coy whorls of the deepest midnight blue. A dark red plume rises up all around its silvery white throat, like a doves poufy white breast feathers embezzled with tiny glinting rubies. It has darker markings covering its webbed feet, as if it has hopped across a palette of bluish black ink. The frog has an unusually long grey tongue that curls up like a snail's shell. The eyes of this frog are silvery and flecked with red. Its ribbit is almost a soothing, musical coo. You look at this frog and think, my goodness, what an absolute jewel.

This is unexpectedly amazing.

Frog Hound of Pursuit

This frog has what can best be described as “tuxedo” markings that are a shade darker than the rest of its brown sky. A ruffle of fur rises up around its throat that is dark grey in color, like fumes from the barrel of a smoking gun. A large, elliptical round of whitish-grey coloring rests over its heart with the same consistency as peach fuzz, and it is partially covered by the grey ruffle. It has wide-spread toes and claws, and thick pads under its feet for crossing rough terrain. Its eyes are a deep and soulful brown, and its snout is covered in a butterfly marking that fans out across the rest of its face; this “butterfly” is yellow-gold in color, like a honeybee’s fuzz. Its tongue lolls out of its mouth much like a dog. Its ribbit is like the click of an empty handgun chamber. You think that this frog could swallow a mouse whole, head-first, without having any qualms about it, and that it is more dog than anything.

Triumphant Frog

This frog is the color of deep purple velvet when the light casts across its dark grey skin. Its throat is an interesting cobalt blue that is just barely distinguishable from the rest of its skin. The same cobalt blue appears in raised dots and dashes along its back; possibly Morse Code. Two black spikes peak up from its eyebrows, and its pupils are an eerie crescent shape against a sheen of powdery blue. Two dark spikes also poke out from directly under its mouth, and they curl downwards towards its throat. Its tongue is short and forked like a serpents, and it is pale lavender in color. Its ribbit sounds akin to the drumming of jittery fingers across hollow wood. You would like to think that this frog doesn't have something up its froggy sleeve, but you can never really tell, can you?

Proto Frog

This frog is very heavy despite its small size, almost as if it is made of dense metal! Its skin is smooth, solid, and sleek, with ridged areas that appear to be keeping this red metallic carapace in place. This red shell covers much of its body, leaving only the throat, hind legs, feet, and snout exposed. Its throat and snout are a stunning sunflower gold with butter yellow speckles; sometimes, just beneath the surface of its breast, a red glow will appear that seems to pulse in a way that is almost akin to a heartbeat. The hind legs and front feet are a metallic silver, stream-lined with glinting gold, but they still appear to be organic; a white band wraps around each of its ankles. A white-painted streak of lightning runs along each of its shiny red flanks. The frogs eyes are covered by a dark-tinted visor that always seems to remain firmly in place. Its tongue is nonexistent— this frog prefers to swallow its meals whole. Its ribbit is like the hum of a computer booting up but with a few beep-boops thrown in for variety. You believe in this frog, and you are fairly certain that it believes in you, too.

Crystal Frog of Ice and Snow

This frog would likely still appear to be frozen after it finishes thawing, what with its slow blinks and barely discernible breathing. It is all white in color, with wintry branches of pale blue running along its back and occasionally blooming into faintly tactile snowflowers. It gleams like porcelain, with sparkling grains of crystal here and there. Its eyes are a brilliant crimson and are exceptionally alert, with diamond-shaped pupils at their centers. Its feet are not clawed and appear to be made of shiny ice. Small red beads of color rise up in places along its back, which completes an intricate yet subtle detail of berries, flowers, and snow that spreads over its body. Its throat is also almost entirely composed of clear ice, and it glimmers like a crystalline ball of spectral reflections and light. Its skin is unsurprisingly cold to the touch. Its limbs are long and well-built, perfect for leaps and bounds. Its tongue is a slate grey that is easily distinguishable from the rest of its snowy white mouth. Its ribbit is like a songbird’s musical chirrup. You think that this frog is a lot less fragile than it looks.

Satin Frog of Rubies and Roses

This frog is dark in color, almost pitch black, and its skin rises up in hexagonal ridges all along its body. Some of these ridges have delightfully gleaming ruby red gemstones at their center which twinkle with a smooth, brilliant gleam. Its feet and underbelly are mottled with light grey, giving off the impression of black marble embellished with fluid spirals of white and grey. This frogs eyes appear to be reenacting a lunar eclipse, cycling between a flinty metallic silver to a magnificent and rich gold with every blink. Its snout has a peculiarly delicate protrusion from it, kind of like a star-nosed mole but in the shape of flowers petals. Its tongue is long, slender, and sticky as sap. Its ribbit is almost like a nightingales call, albeit condensed and quick. You think that this frog has a certain kind of noble air to it, although you couldn’t say why.

Frog of Strings

This frog is a deep emerald green, and its skin glimmers like the warped glass of a wine bottle. It has a smug curl to its froggy lips, and spiny silver fins flare out on either side of its face. The feet of this frog are made up of long toes with tiny, lightly-curled claws on each end. It has an almost reptilian quality to its skin, which is only vaguely scaled and cool to the touch. Reddish-pink splatters cover its feet, although these markings are very faint and lighten the viridian skin underneath just a tad. Its tongue is long with the end curling lightly up into a cupped seashell shape. Its ribbit sounds like the resonant twang of a harp string. You get the impression that this frog is mostly all talk.

Chidori Frog

This frog seems to have been cut from the finest of sapphires, with cool, stony skin and ultramarine blue accents shimmering to life along the angles of its body. When turned in the light, individual triangular shades and glints are distinguishable from its skin. Its throat is a dark, voluminous grey, and glossy flecks of red are visible beneath the usual misty cloud of blue. Occasionally, blue sparks will dance through this concentrated area of vapors around the frogs throat, as if it is a rolling cloud of thunder and lightning rather than lungs. A starlight glow radiates out from its forehead, and a mysterious black-painted symbol rests at its center that appears to have been engraved into its skull. Paler blue shadows just below the surface of its glassy skin are shaped into the pointed forms of fangs and teeth along its jaw. Its tongue is akin to an ant-eaters. Its ribbit is soothing and profound, like the steady breathing of a loved one. You believe that this frog would never willingly betray those who it considers to be friends.

Croakadile

This frog has skin that is bumpy and grooved, just like a crocodile. It is a deep, burnt orange in color, almost brown but with soft patches of orange blending in here and there. It also appears to be perpetually covered in fiery orange-glazed honey, and helpless insects can become stuck onto its sugary sweet skin if they are not wary. Its legs are short and squat, as if it has never moved a day in its life, but when it wants to this frog can be spurred into action in the blink of an eye. Its throat is bright yellow and is shaped in such a way that it almost looks like the top of a poufy scarf poking out of a waistcoat. Two elliptical patches of pale green loop around its eyes with beaded speckles of dark brown at the corners. Its tongue is pointed like the end of a blade, and ghostly flame can be coaxed up from the bowels of this frogs stomach to taste the air. Its ribbit is like cicada-song. You believe that this frog could very well put all other frogs to shame with its vibrant personality.

Exorcist Frog

This frog is dark all over with what almost seems to be a flat pattern of purplish-teal feathers running over its smooth skin that shimmers as the light changes. It has a pale white lotus flower spiraling out from the middle of its forehead that almost seems to have been painted with slender brushstrokes. Jagged lines of white run along its sides and circle its stomach, gradually fading into a pale grey towards its haunches. Its eyes are white and lack a discernible pupil— they almost seem to glow, with phantom grey flame seeping out from their corners. The vertebrae of its spine are ridged and stick prominently out from beyond the skin like deep blue fans, almost akin to the plates of some prehistoric beast. It has two tongues that oftentimes stick out in two separate directions. Its ribbit is like the spinning of a coin across a metal table. You think that this frog is not afraid of anything, and for good reason, too.

Frogthief of Void

This frog is more machine than an actual living, breathing organism. It is all unfriendly angles and steely glints of metal with a strange black orb at its center, the chest area, which appears to be giving off subtle mists of shadow and deep blue spirals. It is crafted almost entirely of metal, however, with great hollow cavities in-between its silvery ribs and clinking joints. Exquisite details are carved into this metallic frame or ‘skeleton’, shifting lazily with each whirring mechanical movement. Its eyes are pale grey in color, almost white, with woven strands of drab black and sly, glinting silver throughout, and they have a glassy quality to them that is reminiscent of a marble pilfered from a child’s bedroom floor. Its tongue is nonexistent, with a strong jaw and a hollow throat through which its void-emitting core may be observed. Its ribbit is akin to a steel wire being drawn tentatively along the side of a glass basin. You believe that this frog might fetch a pretty sum on the market.

Frog of Mind

This frog is an intuitive yellow-gold in color, with ridges rising along its back in an artichoke formation that offer something tactile. These ridges have an almost rubbery feel to them when touched. Its eyes are dark and perfectly round, like a sparrows, and small grey scritches fan out around them, almost like the soft dabbing marks of an unsharpened graphite pencil. Its underbelly cycles through a variety of tufted patches of color, from a pale butter yellow just under the chin to a molten gold-amber nearer to the stomach and haunches. Several thick, dark brown bands, dipped downwards similar to a widow’s peak, settle over its breast and midsection with scattered droplets of vibrant orange speckling the smooth markings. This frog cannot see little more than light and dark values, but is ultrasensitive to changes in temperature and pressure. It also has pale cephalic tentacles running along each of its cheeks which are sensitive to touch, taste, and smell. Its tongue is tattered somewhat, almost like it has attempted to eat something clawed. Its ribbit is like the uncertain yet palpable dripping of water from a tap. You think that this frog might just have a thing or two to say about all those rambling thoughts in your head.

Ruthless Sith Warrior Frog

This frog is entirely black at its core, with branchial plumes of hard, armor-like casing running along its back. This casing is plated, almost akin to bone in its hardness, and has an intensely bright and contrasting reddish-orange pattern running along its curved, severe edges. As darkness is borne pretty heavily over this frogs battle-hardened skin, which oftentimes tapers off into sharp ends, there is not much by way of true, vibrant color to be discerned; However, if one were to hold it up to some light source, dozens of infinitesimal beads of fuchsia would shine through its skin like hundreds of phosphorescent glowworms along the dark ceiling of a cavern. In this semi-transparent and glassy state, this frogs organs are also visible as thick, bloated patches of bluish grey and whiskey-colored fluid. Its eyes are divided into nine, all of which are scattered across its face, fanning out from the middle in a symmetrical pattern with only one placed at the center of its forehead. They are purplish-pink and almost lense-like. The photoreceptors gleam like stars even in the darkness, some inner reflective light causing this effect. Its ribbit is like the ticking of a watch inside of a large jar filled with water, obscured and made in stuttering intervals. You do not like this frog very much, and you have a distinct feeling that it doesn’t like you very much, either.

(In other words, your frog is the sassiest. )
