Frog Gifting - Jade Harley - 12-10-2015 Jade's going to be passing out frogs to all of the people she even remotely likes, for safe-keeping and possibly a personal character arc later on. These frogs are nothing more than little baubles that are basically the Jade Harley Seal of Approval. They hold no sway in combat situations. Each frog is frozen solid, virtually indestructible, and will become even more frozen if Jade's relationship with a person goes sour. However, the frog will thaw the more she grows to like someone, but only if the friendship is reciprocated. Do you have suggestions for a frog specific to your character? Give me a name ( EX:// Frog of Frost, Quartz Frog, etc. ), a brief description of the frog, texture of the frog's skin, and a color palette. If you are unsure of what to make your frog look like, link a palette and I will write a description for you! Also, your frog may be obtained for your Prime character by your Secondaries, and your Secondaries may of course have their own frogs if you so desire. When our characters meet IC, I will find an occasion to give away a frog! :-) Re: Frog Gifting - Bandit With No Name - 12-10-2015 BANDIT IS SO IN. If you have no ideas off hand:
pallet
Re: Frog Gifting - Demetri Malius - 12-10-2015 RESERVING MY FROG FROG Thief frog
Re: Frog Gifting - King Axorn - 12-10-2015 YUS! Totally doing this. Palette Re: Frog Gifting - Jade Harley - 12-10-2015 Bandit With No Name Wrote:BANDIT IS SO IN. I'm thinking a spiky frog like a horned toad or something! :0 Re: Frog Gifting - Bandit With No Name - 12-10-2015 LETS DO IT Re: Frog Gifting - Moon - 12-10-2015 I suppose. Why not? Palette:

Re: Frog Gifting - Artoria Pendragon - 12-10-2015 Tooootally. Like said earlier, I absolutely love the idea. I'll leave the description for you, just because I love it to be something Jade has formed/designed/thought up ^^ Palette right here! Picture it's from:

Re: Frog Gifting - Albert Wesker - 12-10-2015 Adam needs a frog. It might just help him stop being such a jackass.
![]() I'm kind of more partial to the dull palette myself, but both are excellent. Frog of Chimes extremely small, scrawny little thing. the more pathetic it looks the better. also its croaking would suspiciously akin to the "tick tock" of a pendulum. keptic: texture of its skin would be something akin to....say very old, worn gears, if that makes sense? :psy:
Also I am highly amused by the thought of Colonel receiving a frog. But I don't even know how that would work out.
![]() This one on the other hand I am somewhat more partial to the vibrant palette. :froggonk: silent frog very stout, sturdy-looking thing. probably has some kind of digitized camouflage pattern across its body. texture would be akin to something like military fatigues.
Will come up with frog-related info at a later time when my brain is functioning at full capacity. things have been come up with now Re: Frog Gifting - Jade Harley - 12-10-2015 Edit in descriptions for the kind of frogs you want, unless you want me to write one up for you! In which case I will still need a color palette. :frogbon: Re: Frog Gifting - Tom Marvolo Riddle - 12-10-2015 Count Tom in. He'll grudgingly accept it. A Trophy is a trophy and it will be an interesting thing to study magically speaking *Tsundere even* Green and gold or maroon and silver might be good. Or all crystally. Not sure. Re: Frog Gifting - Jade Harley - 12-10-2015 Original post edited a teensy bit. I will post your frog descriptions within the next five or six hours, as I am still held up in school. I am having a lot of fun writing these up, oh my gosh! If you are wondering if you should request one or not, please do. It's super fun!

Personally if you can come up with something better and more fitting I'd be highly interested to see what you find. I'm sorta meh about the one I did. Re: Frog Gifting - Kakashi Hatake - 12-10-2015 OOOOH. Palette As for a description, I'll let you pick what you think is best. I was thinking Ninja Frog of Dogfrog. But I'm also not very creative sooo... Re: Frog Gifting - Trixie - 12-10-2015 Frog with the vibrant color pallete. It's pretty drab though, so don't hesitate to add some brighter reds or more intense grays in there. As for a name and description... I can't think of much. Armour Frog maybe? Re: Frog Gifting - Jade Harley - 12-10-2015 @ Bandit With No Name: Frog With No Name This frog is coarse and has ridged spikes that rise up along its spine and cease at the amphibian's bumpy, well-defined brows. It is well-built, with thick limbs and a proud, bulldog head. It would be difficult for any creature to sink it's teeth into this frog without being severely cut. It's eyes are a deep coal black with gold flecks distinguishing the iris. An old scar mars the already gritty skin across its sooty stomach, and a pale shadow of smeared white covers it's face in what appears to be paint; the shadow is in the shape of a frog skull. It is the color of the desert sand, with dark, crystalline speckles mixed in-between. When the light strikes its skin just right, all of the fiery colors of the sunset flicker to life along its body. Its ribbit sounds like a motor's growl. You sense that, once this frog thaws, it will make a fearsome companion and will yield to no one. @ King Axorn: Frog Born Of Flame This frog is scaly and red-tinged, with a white underbelly that glows with a burning inner light even through the sheen of frost covering it. Each scale is marbled with amber-yellow dust particles, as if someone has taken a handful of golden flakes and blown them across its back. Its eyes are a warm brown, like burnt coffee, and a hexagonal, criss-crossing pattern distinguished in white runs down its back. Two horns stick out from the top of this frog's head, brownish in color and slightly worn. Most impressively, it has two leathery wings arching off from its back, which are folded so that the frog is crouched similar to a gargoyle on the side of a tall building. Its ribbit sounds like a crackling blaze. You feel that this frog could be a real spitfire, if given the chance to break out of the ice encasing its inner flame. @ Dawson Guidio: Adamant Frog This frog is mostly pale in color, with a helm marking of pale blue covering much of its head down to the jawline. It only has three diamond-shaped toes on each foot. The frog's feet are coated in a more vibrant blue, like socks, and stripes of orange that taper off into streaks of zig-zagging markings that run along its legs and up between its shoulder blades. Its skin is smooth and its legs thin and limber; this frog could likely leap very high into the air. The calculating eyes of this frog are a deep orange with a pale film over them that makes the color dull, as if it is being glimpsed through tumultuous seawater; its toes are webbed for underwater travel. The frog's tongue is whitish in color, with a long mercurial grey stripe running down its center. Its ribbit sounds like an electrical whirr. You get the impression that this frog could move as fast as lightning, and that it would be quick on the draw when an unsuspecting fly whizzes by. @ Blake Belladonna: Sphinx Frog This frog has miraculously feline eyes, which are a rich golden yellow and have a dark line of black kohl tapering off from each watchful corner. Its feet have obsidian black claws, and they are not webbed and clearly meant for treading warm desert sands. Its body is well-muscled and strong, perfect for pouncing on crawling insects or wriggling grub worms. It is dark in color, almost blue or purple in places when the light glistens along its silky smooth skin just right, and black-furred tufts stick out along its cheeks and from the top of its head, in mimicry of whiskers and cat ears. Its pale purple tongue is coarse like sandpaper. You have a feeling that this frog could purr like a motor when pleased, and that it will be full of expendable energy once it thaws. @ Tom Marvolo Riddle: Frog of Serpents This frog is very unlike the others in that its film of ice is especially thick; It will likely take a very long time for it to thaw. It has an imperious tilt to its head and sits upon its haunches as if it is the froggiest frog to ever frog. Contrary to its amphibious nature, it has a long, black-tipped tongue which is forked like a snakes, as well as slitted, vertical pupils at the center of each narrow golden eye. Resplendent fins, like silver-lined flowers, fan out from either side of its face in a veiny, poisonous green cowl. A thick band of silver wraps around its neck with a pointed dip over the frog's breast, and interwoven, arrowy streams of green and silver run along the rest of its body. Spectral black lines cut into diamond shapes akin to scales cover its surprisingly smooth skin. Its ribbit sounds much like a throaty hiss. You get the impression that this frog has a secret to keep, and never to tell. @ Kakashi Hatake: Ninja Frog This frog has the loveliest markings of all, Jade thinks. A long shade of pale brown covers its breast area and front legs, while the throat is a beautiful robin's egg blue to match its eyes. A large tongue lolls out of its mouth, similar to a dog in the hot summer months, and it is also that same peculiar blue. A reddish brown hue, like neatly-shaven dust from a gnarled ginger root, smooths down the frog's back with a black stripe running along its spine. The frog also has two pale gray patches on either side of its belly that seem as if they have been painted there with a large brush, and an inky black spiral symbol located right over its heart. Its ribbit sounds almost like a short, abrupt bark. You think that this frog would be happiest when left to its own devices, but also suspect that it has a keen sense for the world around it. @ Trixie: Did you want a description? @ Tartar Sauce: Armored Frog This frog has an arrow marking running up from the base of its spine towards its snout that is dark brown in color, almost a swampy green. Its skin glimmers with splashes of copper when sunlight shines over it, giving off the appearance that it is wearing armor. In fact, a few spiny ridges rise up along where its torso and shoulders jut out the most, almost like a built-in, leathery tortoise shell. The frog has a few places that appear to be dented or scratched in this faux carapace, and it is dusted over with dark brown merle markings from head to foot. Speaking of feet, one of its front feet is mysteriously missing, and naught but a lonely stump remains. Its tongue is wide, pale brown, and flat. The frog has eyes that are a pale green, with elliptical pupils that are dulled with age. Its ribbit sounds like the steely hum before a battle, almost akin to a steady drumbeat. You think that this frog has seen many things. I hope these are acceptable!
