Huh, actually...

I think the Top Prize of winning DA should be custom-fit by the winner themselves and accepted by the mods to suit the particular character that won over anything else.

Say, if Shay joined, and then won (somehow,) he'd get the Apple of Eden, or just a piece of it, that would buff his moves specifically, like turning his sword into the Sword of Eden and giving him it's OP projectile lightning, or something of the sort.

For another example, if Erza joined and won, she'd get the ability to use Fairy Law without much consequence.

Again, something that fits their character, and something they actually want.

@Shay: I'm pretty they know that. They're just fantasizing.

A SMART SUGGESTION: Make your Artefact only fit YOUR powers. That way, if someone like Gilgamesh kills someone like me, and I had the Friction-Proof Boots, he will get something utterly useless, dismissing the point of killing me. Unless it's because of something else, like a grudge or something.

Ahh, I figured the second page was the first, so it IS something that they can come up with!

The problem still is balancing it out though... It's gotta be something rewarding, powerful, but not a get-out-of-jail free card...

Perhaps just take normal standards for moves/Artefacts and such and divide them by half, if that makes any sense whatsoever?

I Still think My Idea is perfect for me Winning. I was actually thinking of forming it into a scythe, like my old transformable one from Chuubs. It could take the form of the Reapers Scythe or turn into the long ranged, chained scythe that ninjas use.

Was thinking about the Triforce of Power idea and mulling it over. A few thoughts occured.

1) If it was an artifact, then it could be stolen. This would be a HUGE blow to GD's ego, worse even then simply being beaten. BUT it would give him a nice story-hook to roll with.

2) It'd be kinda lame for JUST to ToP to be an artifact when all three Triforce wielders are here.

So, I came up with a new idea.

Quote:Artifact: The Triforce

Unlike other Artifacts, this one is technically three Artifacts, each of which grants abilities based on its theme. It also grows in strength depending on how many of the pieces a person has.

ToP: Grants a passive boost to Atk, Def and Spd in the amounts of 2, 1 and 1. Also grants a -1 SP cost reduction for Power-Ups and Powered-Up Forms (per round for Tier 1, per post for higher Tiers)

ToC: Grants a passive +1 boost to all stats. Also grants -1 SP cost reduction for Super Moves.

ToW: Grants a passive boost to Tec, Def, and Spd in the amounts of 2, 1 and 1. Also grants a -1 SP cost reduction (per round for Tier 1 Assists, per post for higher Tiered ones) when using Assists.

Once all pieces are gathered, the holder can use a one-time ability to summon Omni himself from the Oververse. Once summoned, Omni will typically grant the holder a single request, ranging from as simple as an Omnilium reward, to as extravagant as a private Pocket Verse filled with marshmallow fluff. After the request is granted, the Triforce once against splits into three parts and these leave the possession of the owner, finding homes with three random Primes which embody their themes. A person can opt to wait to summon Omni, if they'd prefer to use the benefits these combined Artifacts grant.

To be honest, this seems a MITE over-powered, and may need some dumbing down before application, and it'd be up to Proto whether to allow the creation of an Artifact which is (more or less) three Artifacts, but I think it's a pretty neat idea. And I think it would certainly prompt some of our more power hungry members into actually hunting down Primes for their Artifacts.

Yeah. Fully expect me to shoot down 90% of ideas in the finale Tongue

I thought about the endless banishment one, it would suit Samus. Still not sure if it's too OP considering how much money you could make from it from bounties.
Curious about me and the characters I play? See the 'Staff' page! See also the rosters for my characters Samus Aran or Enel if you'd like to see examples of well-formatted rosters. Hope you enjoy the Omniverse!

Aside from a Dragon Egg that'd function similar to the Rathalos Egg Ganon has (This Jon's half Targaryen, it's only fitting he gets a fucking dragon), here's something I had in mind for Jon if he comes out on top.

Horn of Summers Bane: A typical looking medieval horn. When Jon blows on it, however, cold winds would begin to howl around, chilling anyone not naturally suited to the intense cold down to the bone. It would passively reduce an opponents DEF and SPD by -1 each.

Assuming that mine was the "endless banishment one", that was pretty much my line of thinking. On the other hand, you've first got to start hunting for people to banish (which can easily lose your artefact) which is why I thought a passive stat boost was needed, so you have a higher chance of banishing at least one person before you inevitably get destroyed. Also you'd eventually run out of bounties to hunt if you manage to kill them all, so the banishment part will mean a lot less after that. Unless your character has a lot of grudges/enemies/grudges against enemies.

My other idea has the endless banishment thing as a part of it and I'd bet you money that it wouldn't get approved, but y'know.

Primordial Chaos
Taking the form of whatever the wielder wants, the Primordial Chaos gives access to a certain pocket verse, where the user is powered up. (+3 to everything). It also acts as an infinite use banishment circle, though it instead transports the banished to said pocket verse. On the other hand, you get exactly nothing other than infinite banishments if you're not in the pocket verse, and Diablo still needs one more person for his Underverse Dance Party.

Managing to escape the Verse through a quest will cause the banished to dramatically rise out of the Primordial Scar (who knew) and they will have infinite access to that verse through a normally invisible gate from then on. The wielder also gets unlimited access through said gate even if they lose the Artefact. The wielder of the Artefact will be able to use the pocket verse to travel to any other verse while they're in said pocket verse (have I said pocket verse enough times yet?).

However, losing the Artefact will cause whoever it got stolen from to get slowly possessed by a Spirit of Vengeance that used to be inside the artefact. (Some say it's the spirit of the Tarrasque. It isn't) After possession by the spirit, the old wielder is overtaken by a desire to get the Artefact back, and will relentlessly hunt after who stole it from them. Assuming they die to the thief, the spirit will go possess somebody else, and the new host will eventually start hunting after the thief themselves. Whoever is possessed by the spirit gets a free Tier 1 or 2 (depends on level) Powered-Up Form (forced use against the thief) and can enter the pocket verse anytime anywhere, similar to who holds the Artefact.

I have an idea, one that could be lots of fun. This idea assumes that artefacts are meant to be unique items with potential story elements to them rather than simple stat boosters.

Dante's Skeleton Key
Taking the form of an ancient two-toothed key with a strange and unique handle, Dante's Skeleton Key is capable of opening any lock. In the hands of most, it can unlock any key lock, no matter how complex. In the hands of someone who has spent time with the Key, it is capable of unlocking even electronic or combination locks. Those who are attuned to the Key are capable of using it's greatest power, which is to open a portal to any Verse in thin air. Even verses that are normally disconnected from the rest of the Omniverse can be accessed this way, though the wielder cannot determine where in these verses they will arrive.

Becoming attuned to the key is difficult and dangerous, requiring many days of meditation and reflection to begin the process. Once 'primed' by meditation, the Key must be plunged into the heart of a dead prime and turned. Doing this absorbs nascent Omnillium into the Key, and awakens it's true nature. Once a awakened, the Key will whisper within the prime's mind, urging them to do reckless and irrational things in the name of dark powers beyond the comprehension of any being save perhaps Omni. Those who give in and do as the Key commands will be forever damned to hear it's voice and feel it's will pushing upon theirs, but will unlock the full power of the Key and become attuned. Those who resist can silence the key by throwing it into the Fountain of Infinity, causing it to appear in a random location somewhere in the Omniverse.

DA '15 collar(modified)- Once a tool for the game, the collar now functions outside the Danteverse. Once worn, all primes within a 10km radius, including its wearer, will find their moves suppressed like they did in Dante's Abyss 2015.

Warp Projector- allows one to generate a portal that leads to any of the 8 main verses. Exact location is pin-pointed and the projector can be used as a base extension. Standard rates apply for mass-transportation.

Blackened Denarius: A malevolent presence hides within this half-burned silver denarius; the Fallen Angel Lasciel. Simply touching the coin creates an imprint of the fallen angel within the user's head, while holding it allows the wielder to strike a deal with the Temptress, gaining power in exchange for a gradual loss of control. For 1 SP a post, the coin's holder can gain +3 to ATK and TEC, tapping into both Hellfire and the angel's millennia of experience. Every time the artifact is activated, however, the wielder rolls a 20-sided die. On a roll of 18-20, their consciousness is subsumed temporarily by the Fallen Angel, a condition that used to last forever but now only lasts a day or two at most due to Omni's interference. The power-up is constantly active for this time... but Lasciel is the one using it. The possessed will come to at the end of the possession with no recollection of what happened, and Lasciel will not be inclined to tell them.

Even upon death, the marks left by this artifact remain. Unless removed by an unknown trial, the imprint of the Fallen will persist in the mind of its former wielder, trying to press them into taking up the coin once more, no matter who stands in their way.

Just something shiny from the Dresdenverse. Probably not what Harry would make; he's quite glad to be quit of Lasciel.

For a long while I drew a blank on this, but, I realized that If there is any weapon Gildarts does carry, it would be faith based.

The Fairy Tail tattoo!

What this will do: I have no idea, but I'm sure I can make it awesome, provided i win.

I'd like to hear erza's thoughts because she is from the same universe. I could even make it assist based, as it is a symbol of the guild.
