While I think you hit the hammer on the head with your self-advice, I'd say you'll probably be better off solo. While Vincent might play well with others, I don't know if a pair or small group will do you, ze writer, any good in surviving.

You have the writing quality and the character talent to tell a compelling story by yourself on the island, and with a little luck in terms of movement, you could probably wait out most of the competition. If that remains your plan, I'd just be cautious of not becoming stale after 5-10 roleplays. I love me some DP, but anything could become boring if it remains stagnant too long.

Much like your love life -- Keep things fresh.

Or go crazy and try murdering people. Unless you crash between now and DA, you could probably mess someone up on Day 1, Part 1, and the aftermath of a Face-to-Face always makes for fun story. I don't think your DA08 story with Aero would have been half as compelling if not for the intermittent fights and the drama that inspired.

Right. I guess how I'm gonna play DA depends largely on my weapon. I could do solo or small group.

You do, genuinely, have some advantages like knowing how to play the game, but on the other hand, I've read your old work in this situation (within the last four months -- back when I was doing backup work for chubbs). I know all your tricks so make sure you keep it fresh.

If you want to last long and have a chance to emerge from this with some 'street cred,' you'll need to make sure you can shine while working with Retane. That's not a tall task, but if you can manage that, you'll extend your life expectancy.

To be honest, I think Jack has the potential to be one of the better writers on this site.

Ganondorf's biggest issue is his inability to remain active. If he manages to remain active long enough to actually join this thing, he'll probably get wiped on day 1. If he can figure out a way to kick real life to the curb long enough to write reliably, he could be a strong contender.

Ganondorf's biggest issue is his inability to remain active. If he manages to remain active long enough to actually join this thing, he'll probably get wiped on day 1. If he can figure out a way to kick real life to the curb long enough to write reliably, he could be a strong contender.

I know it'd be hard for you, but if you managed to find the time to write and engage in the strategy of the contest, you could be a strong contender. I doubt you'd be axed on Day 1, Part 1, especially if you bring along your dragon.

You do very well in ensembles (or at least I think you have), and I think it'd bring out the best in you if you paired with someone around your level. With the proper pal and some decent weapons, you two could be a vicious and offensive tag-team.

I'm not saying that you couldn't also do this alone if you start off with an awesome weapon, but I also feel like you're someone who wouldn't suffer to be paired with someone either.
