I will say that never having to pay a dime is something of a misnomer; you do need platinum to unlock new warframe slots and weapon slots and once you've spent your initial fifty platinum you need to either buy more with real money or figure out what to trade on the open market. I recommend spending your initial platinum only on slots as they are the most important thing that can only be purchased with platinum.

Yeah, slots do cost money. Sorry, I forgot to mention that in my initial post. Some people just sell off weapons/frames when they're done with leveling them but if you want to keep a variety it will cost some platinum.

I've found that doing Orokin vault runs and selling unneeded prime parts is enough plat for most people to use on slots or other parts from the user market. Since I was playing with friends, we weren't in any shortage of keys.

Mhm. One or two spare prime parts will usually fetch enough platinum for a couple of slots. I don't usually run Voids because I'm too awkward to join a group in recruit, so I have 100ish keys that I'm just sitting on if anyone wants to do that.

I've been joining lots of recruitment groups but still have a fair few keys. Always down for bro runs. Good to know that's a good way to get plat, I can build those parts and sell em off now. What's a good price for say, a Nyx Prime helmet? Or any other random part.

That's pretty cool actually. If I remember correctly, everyone in the squad gets a key if the mission is completed successfully. That many keys can make you a decent amount of plat, if you're willing to go through the grind.

You can ask for the price of anything in the market tab itself. Check the offers of everyone though, if someone has it and wants to sell it to you, they'll probably skew the price in their favor. Check if you can trade for another part or a mod you want.

I don't do a lot of trading, but from what I understand this is also a good place to find fair ranges for trading.

Also, if you have an abundance of Prime parts, I'd recommend trading extras for ducats on the relays if you're interested in the higher tier stuff from the Void Trader.

I'd still say ask and see what the average price that different people respond with, that's the most up to date info you'll get.

Yup. There's a sparring room, labs to research weapons and frames, an obstacle course, etc. You can also get a clan emblem approved to rep your group. You need to be in one to trade with other players too.

You need forma to make each room, and so far I've only found one forma BLUEPRINT (takes more mats to make).
