Omniverse Venting Thread

I got into a little fenderbender about a week ago. Not serious at all, my foot slipped off the break at a red light (it had been raining) and I tapped the car in front of me. Barely a scratch on their car, and there wasn't one on mine. It was a young girl, maybe a year or two my younger, who got out and said she had to call her ma - because it was her mom's car. She said that if it was here, she wouldn't have even bothered but her mom was like nah report it. So police come up and check it out, they give both of us this look like "is there even any reason we're here" give us a case number and drive off, no citation for anyone. We go our separate ways after exchanging insurance information. The girl herself was pretty chill.

Now it's a week later, I'm on my way to another state and I get a call from my insurance guy. He says they filing for injury.

I explain very clearly what had happened, that I was not in anyway harmed and neither was she, and that there was no damage to my car and just a lil scratch or two on her bumper. It sounds like he believes me, and he says he'll get in touch with their people and get back to me.

Sooooo.....

I might be over reacting, but now I'm stressed about false insurance claims. I feel like the girls mom is just trying to squeeze money out of somebody that doesn't have any.
