Zone A -- Lowlands
My plan was solely reliant on people doing what I would do. I was ready to take a few people down if I needed to. I'd lose as well. But my logic was that if I had that attitude, other people would probably notice I had it and thus become tentative to fight me. It's like some of the 'bluffs' I'd made in the past. I hadn't been bluffing, but because I wasn't bluffing it succeeded. If you can convince yourself of something, then you can convince others as well. That was the raw component of my plan. It made me and Cirno safe.

Which was funny. You'd think standing in a death zone was the exact opposite of a safe place. But the raw fact that anyone stuck here would die in just under three hours was what provided the safety net. People were in this to win it. Anyone after me or my items. Anyone scouting the edge of zone A. Those were people who entered this competition to win. And, luckily for me, coming into this area would lose them that. I could attack them and take them down with me. Hell, Cirno could attack them and stall for long enough, but I wasn't so much of a jerk that I'd force her to do that. I might be manipulative, but even if I was going to execute my actions purely based on logic, if I got out with Cirno staying behind, Clownpiece would almost definitely become an enemy. I did not want the crazy fire lunatic fairy as an enemy.

Team Dane™ did have more of a plan than just standing on the edge of the mountains baiting people. It was a great plan. A glorious plan. So good that I could scream it to the air and still get away with it. Of course, I didn't because that was just a recipe for it to fail.

My plan to outsmart Gildarts is in action. Are you ready boys and girls?
