Takezo was roused rather easily, he seemed to be a very light sleeper. The man rolled his shoulders and sat upright, stretching bit by bit to erase sleep-tension from his muscles. As he hopped to his feet to continue his stretching, Dust readies everything and heads out of the safehouse.
Takezo followed, where Dust unveiled the purpose behind the kiss of death he gave to Bendy, and the reason this new Yuki seemed to be so cold. No pun intended, seeing as no such thing existed in Japan around his time.
Takezo carelessly shrugged at Dust's comment. Even as they head out into the flatlands, he did not seem to care too much. The response he gave felt obligatory, as if leaving anything unsaid might make Dust less effective in a fight.
"There is a tail about an old-lady Yokai. This grandmother becomes more powerful by stealing the favorite toys of children. The more toys she has, the greater her power becomes." He let the thought sink in. What an odd way to gain power, he'd hope Dust thinks. "They were thought to create horrid nightmares that lingered, because a child had lost their comfort item. These became fears that lingered into adulthood.
"In short, the source to one's power may not be as simple as a sword and training. If you gain your powers by a kiss like some incubus, than you and I share the common ground." Before Dust could comment, Takezo quickly corrected himself. "Demon-wise... We both fight like demons." The swordsman even chuckled.
"Another anecdote that doesn't involve fables... I met more than a few monks who've had more than a kiss with the young men of their order. It was not the most common, but it was not unheard of. However, there was an agreement there... and so there will be here. I will keep count, and for every kiss you lay on me I will find you after this game and punch you in the gut. It will not be lethal, but expect it to hurt." Takezo turned a smirk onto Dust and patted the man's shoulder.
They had been moving for a little while now, he could almost see the treeline in the distance. That means that the drop zone should be close - an assumption quickly approved by Yuki - or the new woman that Yuki turned into, at least. Erika was her name?
