As Abyss arrived near Chakravartin and opened the chest, all that she saw was a small part of some sort of weapon, and while it looked like it could be repaired if the other parts were found and reattached, Abyss had no idea where the other parts to the weapon could be. "Well Kong, this is a huge disappointment, but now's not the time to be discussing stuff like this. We need to get far away from here now that we have whatever this thing is, especially with those two demons on our tail. But first we should probably eat for a bit." While Abyss was sad that the food wasn't as good as the food at the Station, she was glad that she at least had food to eat that wasn't covered in insects, and as she bit into the ham sandwich, she felt like the bleeding from the fighting was finally over.
After finishing their rations, Abyss and Chakravartin checked their Maps to see which Area was closest to their location in Area A, which turned out to be the mountainous Area E. "Sigh, I was hoping the forest would be closer, but at the least it'll be harder for those demons to navigate those mountains." As the Golden Alliance continued to wander the hillsides to head torwards the mountain, they tried to make sure they were not being followed, and the Egg Boss even tried to cover her tracks using leaves from the trees they could find scattered around the hills.
Eventually, the two were able to reach the center of A12, where they could rest for a bit to regain their stamina. While Chakravartin was continuing to check for Item Drops on his Tablet, Abyss checked around to see if there was anything that she could hunt down so that they could have food for later. Luckily for her, she was able to see some cows nearby, as well as some of the pigs from earlier. After she told Chakravartin that she would be going to hunt for food for later, Abyss quickly created different Balled Waters and launched them at one of the cows and two of the pigs, burning them with water and distracting them enough for Abyss to finish hunting them with swift kicks at their heads.
"Hey Kong, I managed to get us some meat for later! We don't have any knives to cut them with, but hey, any food for later is better than no food at all!" As Abyss carried the meat from the cow and pigs to Chakravartin, she was glad that she was able to hunt off some meat from the animals from the island, but she wondered where the animals even came from, since she didn't see any farms during her travels. When she finally got to Chakravartin though, he surprised her by saying Oh sorry, I'm vegetarian Abyss. But don't worry about finding food for me, I think I can find something to eat as we continue on."
After cutting out some slabs of meat from the cow and pigs and putting it in the bag containing her gear, Abyss got back up and started to continue walking with Chakravartin torwards the mountains. After a few minutes of walking, the Golden Alliance could finally see the foothills of Area E in the horizon, and as they checked the map to see how much farther they would have to walk, Abyss looked back at the hills she was able to cross, and after checking a bit to see if the demons were following them, the squid once again looked at the horizon, before continuing her walk.
