Digimon Partnering Thread

I've shifted back and forth over switching from Matrix, but I'm currently in "keep him" mode. As much as I intend to be a major part of the Dataverse with him, I know zero and a half about Digimon. I'd love an informed opinion on how to handle that quest, but it'll be awhile before I get around to it. No rush.
