A little upset at a friend who had a cookout today, I had an invite that I forgot about and mentally kicked myself. Especially since it was a good opportunity for me to play some Heroclix, relax and enjoy nerd stuff. So per usual(when this sort of thing happens) I put up, 'cool invite' under a picture he posted on FB.
His girlfriend raged out and I was left flabbergasted and agitated. Especially knowing he wasn't going to intervene. I said nothing, but I am certain that right now the conversation is being had and I'm being painted as some kind of douchebag that he can no longer have over.
After three years I dealt with being very polite around her and her 'Well I don't like the use of gender terms so just call me *insert stupid ass name* and don't use *insert terms/words that she finds sexist and disrespectful but are used every fucking damn day*. So at that, I made sure to keep my interactions with her very limited...but for whatever reason she was drawn to me whenever we all get together. She makes it a point to flop down and sit next to me, even tried that sitting on my lap bullshit once and I put a stop to that instantly.
Admittedly I was confused after that, if you're so gung-ho about being a strong independent non-gender identified person...why the fuck would you want to sit on my lap and giggle. GTFHO!
If she is banning me from her home and likely boyfriend, it won't be the first time she's done this to one of his buddies, or former buddies. He's married to her, so hopefully it lasts. But she's got some shit to work out in the long-term of her life.
Wedding planning sucks and I will never ever fucking ever be married ever again. First time will be my last time. If she tries to divorce me I'll just laugh at her and remind her of the hours I spent looking at colors that all look the same. Listening to songs. Making lists after lists. Oh she is stuck with me. For. Fucking. Ever. Even in death. if she's in heaven, if there is one, I will bust out of hell every other day to see her. Fuck weddings. I should have proposed to a chick who was more than okay going to the justice of the peace and getting that paper signed.
