Omniverse Venting Thread

My father drives me insane sometimes. Today, Easter Sunday, the whole family was resting and doing minor house chores. Suddenly he comes down the stairs (he'd been sleeping off a headache, don't know the cause) and starts making a fuss because we're sitting around doing mostly nothing. Keep in mind that its SUNDAY and we worked our asses off on Saturday. Gets mad because he can't find his belt, goes out to do some work and gets pissed because the weed-eater only had one string on it (I hadn't restrung it after the previous day's work) and that I was ruining a perfectly good piece of 300 dollar lawn equipment for running it for less than 5 minutes with one string (we've had it for 2+ years and it's worked fine all this time) and making a fuss about 'I'm the asshole for trying to do anything' when both me and my mother were already putting on our shoes to go help him. He's passive-aggressive about it all too.

Thankfully the situation has defused but it really, REALLY pisses me off that he thinks that being passive-aggressive and making us mad, which turns it into a fight, is the only way to get us to do anything
