Ebony watched him closely, though she did not make any hostile moves. She was of the opinion that unless he attacked, she would not fight, having to real true judge of how strong he was, or of his abilities. One of the first things she had learned, long long ago where she came from, was to never underestimate and opponent, nor overestimate yourself. Also, unless you were attacked, it was also best to not attack with no provocation, especially without knowing one's opponent, and in territory not ones one. She slowly moved away from him, doing something she had not done up until this point-keeping her back to her traveling companions, trusting them to keep her safe,and facing the new arrival, so not to be set upon while moving away.
