Eda-chan's arrival at the Tangled Green - Eda - 08-22-2016
After a great amount of thought back in the nexus and no one seeming to tell her what went where , she had decided to do things her own way . Spinning on her tiptoes and pointing as she spun , her finger landing in the direction of the fourth gate in the nexus . It had taken her some time to even get that far , she felt herself arriving now . Her eyes taking in the greenery and nature surrounding her , this was decidedly far and away from the city she grew up in . This would absolutely take some getting used to , wondering what manners of creature she might run into .
Her footsteps were cautious ones as she made tracks from her new starting point , eyes carefully taking in the sights . Her ears taking in the sounds of animals and bugs all around her , her nose absorbing the smells . Some of them were quite pleasant , others not so much the case . Her gloved fingers touching one of the trees , she could feel the power in this place . The energies that resided in these forests were beautiful , she found herself feeling peaceful soon as she continued her travels .
It seemed like most of the wildlife thus far was quite friendly as well , little animals like deer and bunnies . She had yet to see signs of other people though , wondering what sort of people might come out this way . Her head held high as she continued , it would likely take weeks to get anywhere . Finding herself beginning to get so very hungry , thirsty too . Her mind focused hard on food of any kind , having no skill hunting . This would be her fist lesson into how to use her Omnilium , she found herself wanting food . It would appear in her hands as if by magic , her eyes wide as she quickly scarfed down the offering from the gods.
" This place just seems to keep getting more and more amazing , I keep finding myself wondering how much more I can do . Wow I really do have a chance here to be something special , don't I ? "

After a little while Eda had spotted a bear and it in turn had spotted her , her friendly and kind hearted nature having her approach the massive creature .
" Good morning mister bea... "
A swat of its massive paw from the beast reminded her that this was a bear , this was not a t.v show she could get away with being that stupid . After getting back up the creature rushed her , causing her to panic and raise her hands . Her instinctive reaction to blast it into oblivion with her most powerful spell , the fire sending the creature reeling .
'' Sorry mister bear I didn't mean to hur .. "
Swat again and this time hard enough that she went through a tree behind her , cracking and splitting it from the impact . Hitting a second tree , the wind knocked from her body . Her legs shook and she found it hard to stand , were her ribs broken ? . A quick press on them an a loud squeak of pain told answered her question.
" Yeep those are broken , decidedly broken . Have to survive , have to fight back though . Sorry mister bear but for me to live , you have to not live "
With that she awaited its approach now , mustering every last bit of power she could she waited till it reared up to finish her off . Firing her second fireball right at its face , this time it went down hard . It stayed down too , un moving from its position on the ground . Pain from the injury and guilt immediately sunk in , it had been her fault this happened . What kind of hero was she , her eyes tearing up as she slid down to sit and recover . She found herself mourning the poor thing , it had done nothing wrong in the slightest . She was the idiot who had approached it , had she simply walked away . It might still be alive , what kind of hero was that stupid . However it was all a learning experience for the girl , her teary eyes closing now . Needing to rest and try to recover from such a serious injury , and so soon after her fight with that drow woman .
As she dreamed of that fight , all the stupid mistakes she made were highlighted in her mind . She should not have even stood a chance , not against someone that much stronger and faster then her . She had gotten lucky , and she knew that would not happen again . For now her focus had to be on getting stronger , which could very well take a long time

Sounds shook Eda from her resting state , finding that she healed much faster then normal and something that should have killed her really . Only really forced her to take a couple hour nap , however she could hear voices . They were dangerously close to her , merely fifteen or so feet to the right .
" Lookzes what weza found boss , there is a fully cooked meal just laying about here . Someone roast up a bear and just left it here , maybe the orkzes got em then ? "
The one who responded was taller and broader then the rest , the horde of them jumping on the chance at a meal . Not even caring that it could be some kind of trap , much to his dismay his low voice responding
" Just be careful you nitwits , whoever did this could still be here . Do you want to get beat up again like the last time ? "
Eda slowly and carefully moved away from them , making enough room in case they spotted her and attacked . She knew these creatures from books , these were goblin kin . The one in the horned helmet that was bigger was likely their leader , there were ten of them and only one of her . She slowly tried to make her way far away from them , there was no way at her current level she could take on ten enemies at once . Her foot snapping a twig when it landed , the entire lot of them perking up and looking right at her now .
" Of course there was a twig for me to step on right as I was trying to get away , well now this is going to suck . I might actually die , I am not ok with that !!! "

Sometimes discretion is indeed the better part of valor , Eda made the call when the spotted her to turn tail and run as far away from them as possible . The creatures of course did not hesitate for even a moment to make good on chasing her , hot now on her heels she continued to duck through the dense forests ahead of her . It was difficult , if not impossible to gain ground in such a place . Once she managed to reach some semblance of an open clearing , she noticed the goblins had skidded to a halt not but inches from her . They suddenly turned tail and ran the other way , much to her relief .
" Oh thank goodness I thought I was done for "
She then noticed the rather large shadow cast over her , an Orc literally towering over her . Her eyes going wide as it made a grab for her , she was forced to run once more . This time from a much faster , and decidedly stronger foe . One she was absolutely certain she had no way of besting , however she had to do something . She managed to get into a narrower space that would be harder for the monstrous creature to move too well in . Using the time she had bought to focus , her hands shaking a bit from her nerves . She was never in a lifetime of lifetimes going to get all of a spell this way , she continued to use the landscape and her smaller size to her advantage instead .
" I really should not have skipped all those fitness lessons , my body feels like its on fire . Come on I need to get away , I need to get somewhere not here . I am seriously not okay with becoming orc food , or worse the bearer of one of their kids . Eww just thinking about that gives me the creeps "
Her legs felt like they were on fire , her tiny arms felt just as bad . In short every fiber of her five foot five form was starting to feel her attempts to evade the creature . She found herself ducking its attempt to just clear out the brush with a weapon she could only describe as sharpened metal on a stick , the sword it was wielding was hardly pretty . However it was proving effective as it gained on her again , she found herself musing how this day could get any possibly worse .

After having traveled back through the Nexus and into the Tangled Green, Ebony headed in a direct line away from the gate, wondering just what might have become of Eda. Within a few hours, given the fact of her speed, she ended up hearing the roars and curses of the Orc, as well as the muttering of Eda. With a sigh, she dashed in that direction, drawing her sword as she ran.
As the Orc swung again, Ebony used her spell Lacerate, granted it would only serve as a distraction, but it should in theory be enough to get the Orc's attention. "Over here, big, dumb, and ugly", she called, hoping to attract its attention, then engaging it with her sword, giving Eda time to calm her nerves and get a spell ready, ,at least that was the hope and intent.........................

After being completely and utterly lost for a good three hours she had finally decided to just say Fuck you to Corosusant and got her ass the hell out of there. She went back through the gate she had come through aand she had watched Eda spin and go off in the directio nof the forth gate, it couldn't hurt to follow the naive human girl, she was bound to get herself into trouble and think that love and friendship would save her but in this world that wasn't how it worked in the real world she wasn't in her old world anymore. Of course she also wondered if the drow was still out in the other gate or perhaps she too had backtracked though soon enough she got her answer as she saw Ebony trying to lead an orc away from Eda. Andyra just sighed but when she went to transform to her lion form, she found that she didn't quite have the power so she would justt have to use her fists in human form, oh well she could easily aid in the fight as she went towards the orc with a smirk and waved towards Ebony.
"Good to see you both again, quite a hectic day it's been hasn't it?"

" Oh thank whatever god that sent the two of you , I almost got my head taken off . Alright with that said and done , lets see if I can do this proper . Now you are playing with fire "
Eda would toss not one , not two , but three back to back fireballs over the course of the next two minutes . She Felt each and every one though , less so then before . She could notice how much stronger she was already becoming , it clicked in her mind just then . The more she fought and the more powerful enemies she would best in combat , the more powerful she could become here . The trio of attacks all landing with some impressive effect , knocking the larger opponent over . She set her feet , her body wanting to quit . However she knew the day was not yet through .
" Well you two get your big girl britches on , Ocrs rarely if ever travel alone . There is a settlement or a tribe of them nearby , and you know they can probably smell one of their brothers cooking . Get ready for all hell to break loose , and then for even more hell because there is a roving band of goblins that is around too "

Amber watched as the trio seperated out. It was an odd encounter, the three of them. They didn't seem to be a team like Amber's. They were all new to this world too, and she was sure that if they weren't careful they would get into a brawl with someone like that Sabrina chick. Memories of her weren't so fresh in her mind, but they were there. She feared the worst, and decided to follow them.
Once they passed through the gates, Amber waited a moment then followed through. The Tangled Green once again. Albeit she could not remember the first time she made it here, this was where she boarded the mysterious plane. It led to that island where she had formerly died. Right now, she had important issues, and boarding weird planes was not one of them.
Even being the best tracker in Beacon though, she lost them not too far into the forest . She felt herself stupid for having lost the trail but would be easy to pick up again. Their scent was unavailable right now, or Amber's nose wasn't working up to fine tune. However her rars were working just fine. She sat still and listened carefully. Mostly birds and little critters of the forest, but a few seconds later, she heard the voices of the three women from The Nexus. They were in trouble. She took off as quickly as possible, which this sickness was preventing her from being at 100% functionality, but that would stop her from ripping heads.
The orcs decended upon the group of women. A huge horde, say 15 or so. They came with their clubs and makeshift axes. The three readied themselves for a brawl, when suddenly shots were fired from the tree line. Five of the orc dropped down as the bullets pierced their skin. "Let's even these odds!" She screamed jumping out to face the orcs. Razorback's gears hummed as is the blade whirred into position and with a mighty swing, another orc felled to Amber. It's body split in two as Razorback carved though him. Amber wiped the blood from her face and turned to her companions. "S'up?" She said with a smirk.

Ebony looked at the remaining nine orcs, secretly grateful that the Prime she had originally ran away from had followed them. Had she been what she had become before being brought here, nine orcs would be a morning exercise routine, but she knew already from her previous spar with Eda that she was nowhere near being able to do anything like that, and likely would not be for a long time. Even having the vast experience of thousands of years of living as a Drow warrior, defending herself and her people, her powers, won over millennia of combat, had, in effect, been reset to level one.
"Come on then, you ugly freaks", she said with a scowl, deciding that if that was how it was going to be here, she would do a bit differently than most of the ones she had met up until this point, who had blamed, threatened, screamed, ,at Omni. She would simply direct her anger at being screwed out of a throne for the second time into aggression at whatever had the misfortune of wanting to enter combat with her. "I'll take you all on at once", she said with a sneer, trying to draw their attention so that the rest of the party could have an easier time trying to pick them off.
She did take on two herself, though, ,using her greater speed to her advantage, daring around them when they swung, and even a few times making then hit one another with their clumsy swings. "Hell, ,I think these things are even less coordinated than you, Eda", she said teasingly as she danced around them, striking whenever they left her an opening.
Already, she was gauging what each member of the party was good at. It seemed that Amber was definitely the most Omniverse experienced, with the best items and equipment to prove it. She seemed to be the fastest, though not well equipped yet. Eda was obviously a magic user, though still needing experience, and Andyra, well she just seemed to be a member of the 'hit it till it dies' school of thought, using only her fists and massive strength to fight, all in all, seeming to be a rather well-balanced team, though not necessarily very experienced in how things went in the Omniverse, well, other than Amber of course.

Andyra would focus on the rest of the orcs left after all even if she didn't have her war lion form yet she could still pack one heck of a punch as she went dashing forward both fists out as she hit two orcs at once both right in the shin of the knee, which in turn caused them to stumble and fall, orcs weren't known to be very smart to say the least. Then she would come up again from behind and use her fists once more to knock them unconscious. She couldn't very well outright kill them but this would have to do for now as she immediately would look towards Eda since she had been here longer than the rest of them.
"So by the looks of things we are in some kind of forest, with creatures like orcs and goblins? It's probably best we make headwya for a town of some sort, aumsing there is one in a place like this." suggested Andyra.

She was already tired and now even more enemies were showing up , drawing her power to cast three more times in total . Three fireballs hitting three separate targets to bring them down , taking a knee once she set them off . Panting sweating her body starting to really feel each one of those . Slowly wobbling to her feet and rolling out of the way of a club swung at her head , that shook the ground and sent her into the air regardless . Letting out a squeak from floating for a second and backpedaling away from them .
" I don't have much left in the tank right now , I am still not used to using these powers . Lil help here "

Amber quickly responded to Eda's call for assistance. She was good at maneuvering with a team with her having been trained to work in a four man team. The orc that nearly turned her ally's head to pudding found a blade in his back, slowly lifting him in the air and bringing him back down and splitting his body. Two more moved to avenge their fallen, but only met similar destinies. Amber still wasn't at her peak but was still able to move nimbly around their clubs. Razorback met the ankles of one, cleaving his feet from his body. The other reach for a swing, and Amber replied in kind. Razorback smashed through his club and into his face, dropping him instantly. Amber smirked as she drove her blade into the fumbling green beast with no feet, putting him out of his misery.
"Who's next, hunh?!" She screamed out to the orcs with their kins blood dripping for the steel in her hand, "come on! You can do better than that! I'm holding back!" She charged into the horde recklessly, as always, with fury in her eyes and strength in her swing.

I have tremendous power and potential but it looks like my body is still really frail and fragile , three of those fireballs every hour seems like my limit right now . I know that is kind of pathetic compared to some of the others you have met "
She slowly rose to her feet again putting her hands out , knowing she was sore and tired . However knowing her new friends were counting on her , she would not let them down . Not here and not today , summoning her staff to her once more . Like last time with Ebony just above her head to bring it down like the hammer of justice on the remaining orcs . A massive thud ringing out when it made impact into the mob of them , the neigh comically large weapon hitting with such impact that half of the forest probably felt it .

Ebony shook her head, moving in as well, having changed her mental descriptions of each member of the party, seeing as Andyra had held back, and Amber had charged right in, making her the beserker of the group, almost like one she had heard of from the last place she had been rifted to, the Dog, as he was known, ,simply running in full bore, ,telling the enemies that they had not seen the full strength yet, and hitting the enemy until it either killed them or they killed it. She could already see who the one with the tactics would be here, though she was not sure anyone would actually pay any attention to her ideas.
With a sigh, she went over to the unconscious ors that had been knocked out by Andrea, as well as Eda's fallen victims, using her katana to kill them before they woke up. She then looked at Amber, who was currently working on finishing the last of the orcs off. "Want any help, or do you have this", she asked with a bored look on her face.

Amber pancaked one of the remaining few stragglers as Ebony's voice rose. "If you'd like to join in, feel more than happy to. Not many left though. I can handle it mys-"
THWACK!!
Amber's voice was cut off as a club smashed into her side and sent her flying. The orc responsible laughed triumphantly as the cat-girl's body flung around like a rag doll a good twenty feet away, only to be stopped by a tree. She coughed as the dirt around her foung up mixed with some of her blood.
"Fuck that hurt.." Amber whispered as she stood back up slowly, using her zweihander as a crutch. "Can't look weak after I boasted all that. She tried to stay standing but only met the dirt again, unable to stand.
"Shit.."

Eda let out a soft sound when her new friend was hurt , her hands glowing red and just blasting the last two that were standing with everything that was left in her tiny little body . The attacks pitiful due to how tired she was , they likely only drew the pair's attention to her . She buckled under the pressure and exhaustion of it . Trying to get up and draw more , only to fall back again .
" Damn it why am I so weak , if I was only a little bit stronger I could do something more then this . I don't want to die , I am seriously not ok with dying "

Andyra hadn't merely just been standing around watching the others, this was a forest, and likely a forest was bound to have things like vines and twigs. Quickly using her more tactical mind, she hurried to gather any materials she could find that would aid her in making a simple trap, grabbing some leaves on the ground. Once she had these things in hand, she would work quickly as fast as she was bodily able to, able to ttell that she didn't have nearly as much endurance as she used to have but just forcing herself to push through it. Then she turnt towards the two big ugly orcs that were left and shouted.
"Hey big and ugly come and get some." she yelled out as she even did a pose for the orcs to draw their attention. She knew that they were not smart enough to realize she was leading them right towards their doom. She just hoped that Eda would get out of the got damn way.

Ebony sighed, moving towards the orcs, which had paused a bit, as Amber was injured, Eda had attacked them, and Andyra had been yelling at them. Again using her speed, she used her katana to slice the legs out from under the one closest to her, ,finishing with a straight stab to its heart, then, as the other one went after Amber, hamstrung it as well, letting it lay there. though she went and helped Amber up, taking her over to the orc. "Your kill", she said with a grin. "THough next time, I recommend being more careful about simply charging something stronger than any of us except Andyra there. I am not the strongest one, so I play my race right, the distraction, as well as the one to finish them off when they are down, or simply back-stab them".

Amber smirked holding her stomach. She took Razorback overhead and slammed it down on the orc, sweet revenge. "Heh, simple miscalculation." She laughed taking a deep breath. "I've been hit by trucks before and they definitely hit harder than that." That was an exaggeration obviously. When that truck hit her, she was in the hospital for awhile, and it wasn't as funny as this situation. The last ones charged Andyra, onve they were done with them they should be finished here.

Andyra smirked when she saw them coming at her with intent to kill. She just merely would move out of the way at the very last second to get them into the trap she had set up. She would just chuckle as they fell right into it, of course she couldn't just leave them in the trap. She didn't have her claws or a sword like she was used to. And she was pretty damn sure she couldn't use the force or ligning magic yet so when all else failed. She merely used her own momentum of two powerful aimed swings right into their chest, packing a whallop of a pnch as they would fall over in the trap as dead as a doornail .Andyra just stood up and walked over towarrds Eda, obviously showing concern for the young magical girl.
"Hey there are you quite okay?" she asked in a polite yet calm and firm tone. "You think this is bad? You should justt be glad it's not worse."
