It wasn't the usual lab that Genjuro worked in. His was a secret after all and only a select few could know where it was or even that it existed. There were certain risks taken with some of those with that knowledge, but this certainly wasn't the time for it. He was called here for a run of the mill testing. The circumstances didn't matter, he had barely read the part of the briefing of how they were forcing the subject to cooperate. No, this Jak Mar was interesting because he was a prime from an apparently scientific background with almost magical abilities.
The room lit up as the subject was pushed into it, door closing behind him but the bright white lights staying on. It was a mostly gray room with panals covering all surfaces. There was also a window on one side showing a control room filled with computers and other technological marvels that no doubt would take hours to explain the functions of. However, Genjuro stood out here in the middle of the room waiting rather than the safety of the control room.
"I've been expecting you, please, this way. You've been selected as a test subject for the Empire and in return your words will hold a little more weight for their worth here. I don't know or care how you've been volunteered into this position. But you are here now, so let's do this shall we? I can promise that when I'm finished with you, you'll be about the same person you were before. Primes are very resilient in that way."
