tl;dr: If we have to attack other people, we'll break into three teams. Omega is the hitty ones, Iota is the hidey ones, and Sigma is the helpful ones.

By default, we are all defenders. At every assignment, our mission is to optimize the place we're protecting. While I expect this will be rarely true, that means that we may have to take the side of an invasive force. But while we're defending, we'll have a leader organize the team into various roles, depending on who we're fighting and who we have.

Like I mentioned, we may have to do a preemptive strike. First off, we will debate amongst ourselves until we decide it's a good idea. No willy nilly attacking. But if we deem a preemptive strike necessary, we will send appropriate numbers from each of three squads: Omega, Iota and Sigma. Each squad has two functions, depending on whether the situation is open combat or in-and-out. Obviously, some people will be able to be in all three squads, so just pick whichever squad you fit best.

Omega (for Offensive) either attack in an organized form or create diversions. The "Attack" function is for when the hostile entity in question can only be taken out by face-to-face conflict. The "Distraction" function is if we're trying to recon people of interest, and we need cover fire. In this case, a select few should be in Omega.

Iota (for Infiltration) will operate in terms of sabotage and espionage. Either way, Iota Avengers should be able to infiltrate and escape more or less undetected. Sabotage either disables a hostile entity in some way, so that Omega can push them back. Espionage retrieves information or smaller payloads. Either way, we won't need too many Iota Avengers at once. Larger numbers would be too conspicuous, ya dig?

Sigma (for Support) carry out, well, support. The jack-of-all-trades Avengers go here. They're the Back-up Avengers, who fill in for Omega or Iota if an Avenger is compromised. In a special operation, they're Recon, who rescue larger groups of people and make sure they are safe by the end of a conflict. They may also man the generic heist laptop to guide Iota through stealth operations. 

Keep in mind that this is just a suggestion. Also, the way we're designed right now, more likely than not we're all just gonna dive in fists flying. I just thought this was a neat little thing to do. This might even be purely for fun.

I'll be in Sigma, mainly operating the generic heist laptop or helping out Omega.
