Thor spun his Hammer atop his horse as he charged toward the white armored warriors. Blaster shots streamed past the God of Thunder as his spinning weapon deflected those that might have found their mark. He knew the necromancer would not be a helpful ally, but he did expect that he would refrain from aiding the enemy. So when Thor heard the attack on his comrades and saw Skeletor riding away on the horse the God of Thunder had given him Thor was rightfully enraged. His anger was fanned by the bolt that struck his own horse, causing him to crash to the ground. He stood up and tossed his Hammer, striking a trooper from its vehicle and sending the glorified hover-bike careening into another mounted trooper causing them to cash in a fiery blast. Thor caught his Hammer and raised his other hand at the horse that Skeletor was fleeing on. His horse. Then he saw that the green-haired dwarf girl was also fleeing with the necromancer. He gritted his teeth. The massive muscles in his outstretched arms tensed. The horses shuddered and looked back, frightened. A bolt of energy struck Thor. The two mounted primes yanked on their respective reins and the steeds continued to flee. Thor did not know how quickly or from how far away he could extract Omnilium. However, as he brought his might Maul crashing into another enemy helmet he was sure of one thing. He could not do anything with Omilium under fire. He saw Red dancing throw the battlefield switching between blades and guns with the occasional flash-bang thrown in to cover his tactical withdrawals from cluster fire. Thor noticed Red was making his way toward the God of Thunder, and before Thor knew it Red was fighting at his back.
“I saw the two runners. I can grab a speeder and chase them, but I think we might have a bigger problem.”
The speck in the distance had been growing with its speedy approach and now came to a screeching halt. The door flung open and a man covered in metal emerged looked at the battlefield shouted something that made the troopers back off, then blasted Red sending him flying. Thor raised his Hammer to deflect the blast, but the half-machine just turned the single shot into a continued stream and it was not long before the Thunder God to was forced back by the blast. The metal man’s voice boomed as he spoke as if he had a megaphone.
“Thor and Red-Hood, come quietly to face the Justice of the Empire or you will leave me with no choice but to bring you in by force.”
Thor looked at Red.
“Yes. That is a bigger problem, indeed.”
