The walk back to Camelot took much longer than when he first arrived to the Ashen Steeps to aide the God Mind. Red still felt it was a waste that Nealaphh decided to banish himself. After all of that hard work he had slaved over, what did it amount to? Sure he had achieved his goal with great costs but to kill oneself and not enjoy the rewards of one's hard labor seemed ridiculous to the the vigilante. Red couldn't help but compare him to the Batman. They both had noble causes but when it came down to it they can't do what is needed to be done. The self proclaimed false God should have known that losses would have been inevitable. But mostly Red felt deeply sad at the lost of another friend. Anger was an easier enotion , its raw power could be used to create beautiful destruction. Where as this sadness he felt just empty and alone.
Red picked his head up and stiffened his jaw. He didn't need anyone, he survived on his own before, he could do it again.
Red grew tired of the constant walking, with out much thought the orb spawned from his hand, egging him on to use it. He began focusing on a motorcycle Dick once rode. After a few moments the beautiful vehicle appeared in front of him. With one fluid motion Red swung his leg over the bike and turned the key, the engine roared to life as he sped off.
**********
Red brought the bike to a full stop as he neared the Camelot gate. He leaned against the handle bars as he watched the scene in front of him. A battle had erupted in front of the of the gate. A dozen or so stormtroopers sped towards the gate on some sort of high tech motorcycles. Another smaller group sat on horses, waiting for the incoming assault. Red was to far still to make out the warriors defending the Camelot gate, he knew of course he would have to join this fight. One of his obligations he had in joining the army of the Kingdom, which didn't bother him, Red still had a deep hatred for the empire anyways. With a smile he turned the key, the engine roaring to life once more.
As Red sped near towards the battle hoping to get into the action before it was over, a brilliant arc of lighting shot forth, striking one of the trooper's mounts. The explosion caused the trooper to be flung forward. He fell to the ground and slid for several feet before coming to a stop.
Red was filled with hope at the spontaneous materialization of such pure energy. He had only known of one man in this universe who could bring the power of the sky to his beckoning call. Could it be that Thor had some how survived? No, it was impossible, he had seen the charred remains of his friend. But his hammer was missing....
Red Hood shook the thought from his brain. He didn't have time to torture himself with the loss of his friend. There were stormtroopers to kill.
Finally he was in striking distance of the troopers. Red brought his feet up onto the seat and aimed the bike at a group of unsuspecting troopers before leaping from the bike. The now empty bike raced forward, a trooper looked to his left just in time to see it barrel into him, knocking him from his bike.
Red landed on his feet and immediately started sprinting towards the group of troopers. He let loose a volley of batarangs, a few only met their mark. He lined up with what he hoped was his allies, pilling his pistols free from their holsters and aiming at the still shocked troopers.
"Ha!! A worthy attack my friend!" A boisterous laugh and booming voice resounded from behind him. Red took a moment to turn and look at the man who had yelled the encouragement. To his great surprise his eyes met that of the pearly white smile and brilliant blue eyes of the mighty Asguardian.
"Thor!! You're alive!" Red shouted with glee, "How are you still kicking? I saw your corpse"
"Paaah, death has no keep on us here my friend. I shall explain at a later time. For now, we fight!" Thor yelled as he lifted his hammer above his head. Red nodded, but be neath his red helm a brilliant smile displayed across the vigilante's face at the sight of his once fallen friend.

You can't stop crime. That's what you never understood. I'm controlling it. You wanna rule them by fear, but what do you do with the ones who aren't afraid? I'm doing what you won't, I'm taking them out.
