It was all too much to process. Rin crouched behind the fountains edge, having roughly been dragged behind it before she had a chance to react. What was this new guy blabbering on about? Factions? Recruits? Her head swam with questions as the kid continued mumbling about conflict or whatever. Was this not the simple dueling arena she thought it was? This changed everything. If it wasn't an arena, then what could it possibly be? This place seemed to be an enigma. To be thrown into a place full of strange people in such a wide expanse. If the point really was entertainment, it all seemed needlessly complicated. Could there be another purpose to it all?
The shedwarf quickly glanced over the top of the fountain wall to see strange figures in what looked to be some cheap white metal, circling the fountain, strange looking crossbows in hand.
"Mahal! What manner of warriors are those?" Rin ducked down again looking to the kid for answers.
