A world without He-man
#9
What for? Uh… For the first time Yeller had to consider the benefits offered by joining Camelot. As a secondary who had been summoned to populate one of the many villages of Camelot, it had never occurred to him that some people might not have a stake in the perpetual contest between the Empire and the Kingdom. Yeller paused before answering the green-haired prime, considering the options he was offering. Choosing a side in the conflict would definitely mean that the new prime would inevitably find themselves thrown into dangerous situations, but that was what primes went looking for any way, right?  It was undeniable that every new prime was immense help to the Kingdom, serving in all sorts of capacities to help them regain their ground in the effort against the Empire, but what did the prime get out of the exchange?

“Safety. Assistance. Protection. Power. Fame.” Yeller hadn’t realized he said the words out loud, until he noticed the look the prime gave him. “Uh… that’s why you should come with me! I belong to a powerful faction, and we are looking for recruits. You see, we are in frequent conflict with…” he broke off as the all too familiar whine of Imperial Speeders reached his ears. “Get down!” he said, and pulled the prime behind the fountain. Peering out, he saw several Imperial soldiers forming up around Thor and the other prime. It did not look like things would be going smoothly. “frequent conflict with them…” he said to the prime, and pointed at the Stormtroopers. Their white armor making them difficult to keep track of in the Nexus. The cunning warriors. They know how to use camouflage really well… Yeller thought as he watched the Stormtroopers and the primes shout back and forth. Yeller turned back to the green-haired prime. “I don’t think they saw us… we should be okay.” He looked back just as a pair of troopers came into view, sweeping around the edge of the fountain on foot. Yeller squeaked in a moment of panic, before ducking back behind the rim of the fountain.  “Not okay! We are very much not okay!”
