A world without He-man
#6
Rin watched the Skeletor guy lean with exhaustion on his ram staff. Was he old? He didn't look like it much. Not her type anyway. But skullface seemed to be taking this whole imprisonment much worse than she was. Perhaps it was worse than Rin had first thought. Had skullface heard rumors about this place before? Was it some sort of inescapable prison or torture arena, disguised as a blank canvas? There were too many questions that didn't have answers. Rin grinned in excitement. That meant there was a puzzle to be solved. Either that or a death match. In the back of her mind, Rin had a feeling she was supposed to be fighting skullface. That was entertaining right? Like a gladiatorial arena. But she didn't want to fight skullface. He seemed fun.
"Anyone else you could speak to?" Rin looked around. "I don't see anyone. But you heard that chanting just a bit ago, didn't you? I don't know if that was Omni or not, but it sounded different to me." If that had been someone else she heard, then maybe it wasn't a gladiatorial arena after all. Rin felt relief at the thought. As a fanficition OC, she was designed by default to dislike violence. Of course, in her backstory she had years of training and self defense so that she could hold her own against swarms of lame orcs if she had to.
"But even if there is anyone else here, I don't know who they are. I just arrived myself, you see." Rin smiled helpfully. "I don't know where Omni is either. I imagine he's up there somewhere." She pointed to the blank canvas sky.
