It was meant to be sorta circumstantial.
Technically, it costs the same as using all those moves consecutively, +fusion. The benefit is that by using them "together", you increase the power. ie: 5 tier 1 Super Moves can be blocked by 5 tier 1 Super Moves. a 5 person Fused Move would count as a Tier 5 Super Move, requiring a Tier 5 Super Move to block it.
