So, anyone else play it? I've had it sitting around in my steam library for a long time now, but I only picked it back up a few months ago and I've honestly fallen back in love with the game all over again; I think I'd still be writing many stories on here if I never started playing this game again, dare I say it. :frog siren:
I've managed to weave quite a few fun political tales and stories with this one, some humorous, some dark and some just downright depressing. I'm quite interested to hear some of the experiences you guys have had with the game, though; I'll likely post a few of my own when more of them spring to mind.
Also, anyone here interested in possibly doing a multiplayer session sometime? I've yet to try a multiplayer game but, for as chaotic and difficult as it looks, it could be a LOT of fun. I've invested a lot of my time so far with the game into vanilla as well as the Game of Thrones conversion mod, but I know there's some other amazing total conversion mods out there that I really want to check out for myself some time. (Elder Kings, After the End, Warhammer, etc...)
For those of you reading this who has no idea what CK2 is, also; it's a grand-strategy game developed by Paradox which centres around the whole middle ages period and the feudal clusterfuck. It's a game all about getting to the top and gaining more power as well as making sure your dynasty and family name survives on with you throughout the ages. It's a hard game to grasp in the beginning, but if you enjoy strategy games, want something a little more difficult than usual and are a major history buff just like I am, I can guarantee that you'll really enjoy this game, and you should totally go and check it out for yourself.
