Ooooo, that sounds so cool! 
I went on an educational tour of Ireland, Wales, England, and Scotland last summer, and while in Scotland we visited this amazing peat bog museum! I can't really remember a name, though. But it was so interesting!
There was this one museum nearer to where I live, still some states away, that had hundreds of animal skeletons on display. http://www.museumofosteology.org <--- It was really, really awesome, and I kind of wish I'd brought my sketchbook or at least taken more pictures.
