So in order to not have the forums be down for weeks, I'm now launching the forums. OM should work, multi-accounting is in, and basic permissions are in place. Everything else I'm working on.
I have the intention of restoring everything from the old forums (with a very few exceptions) but it will take me time. Things like displaying levels next to posts, character profile links, et cetera, all took a long time to integrate into the original forum so it's not going to be done tonight and there is no need to remind me right now. EVEN THE FEATURES I DIDN'T NAME BY NAME. However I would appreciate it if you let me know if you gain OM in an OOC forum, if you don't have permissions you shouldn't have, etcetera.
Setting up your hub account
Creating a hub account is not mandatory. If you wish to set up a hub account, this means you can register as any name so that people can recognise you regardless of which character you're on (and you will keep this name should you happen to switch characters). From a hub account, you can post as any of your linked characters simply by using the drop-down menu next to posts. However this functionality is also there for those who would prefer to be called by their characters names.
To link accounts, go into User CP ---> Account Switcher.
