Another idea, if you go for the Story idea, you could just straight up make it Pokemon battles. They'd pretty much be "incidental weapons" in regards to what they're used for.

Also, I wonder how the PLF will handle the news of a Pokemon League forming? I assume Wartortle will be planning some pretty public murders.

I was pretty much planning this at some point. I definitely think the idea of a fight club is cool though.

My idea was to have maybe the Coliseum used as the stadium and have a tournament much like the Pokemon League Championships at the end of the Pokemon anime season 1.
