A New Beginning

After bookmarking Eric's name in his mind, Jams took a quick glance at his phone before holding it up and making hand gestures similar to salesmen or people who are pretentious about their green screen "skills." "Oh, this? It's a touch flip phone. Has two touchscreens for my entertainment, but has the addictive 'snap' whenever I flip it open! Jams promptly closes his phone and flips it open as an example. "It's pretty neat, certainly something I wanted to try out. Anyway, it seems like you're a bit famished. Or, well, a lot famished. Maybe you should conjure up some food?"

While he gave Eric time to conjure up food or ask another question, Jams decides he aught to work on making himself a new broom. In his mind, he made up an entertaining system called "styles," which allowed him to improve upon using certain kinds of weapons as he used them more and leveled them up. He primarily focused on the "Broomstyle," although he wasn't sure why he chose a broom over a sword, or even a simple hammer. However, despite his Broomstyle being reset to Lvl. 1 and the possibility to start anew, Jams still felt compelled to stick to the Broomstyle. It's all he had ever known (or, well, USED to have known). He decided to ponder on what it would look like over time, since designing a brand new broom every ten seconds would be an infuriating waste of effort.
