"You have it about right, ultimately", Ebony said with a shrug at Eda. Everyone could see, though, that even as she was carrying Amber, her sword was still unsheathed and in her hand. She was apparently untrusting of anyone or anything in this new place, ,and seemed even to somewhat distrust even the ones whom she had fought the orcs with. She noticed the strange looks from the rest of the party and sighed, saying to them, "This is not the first time that I have been rifted to an area, it is actually my second. My first came as I was greeting a man I had come to like, and even confide some of my wishes and dreams to. As I was greeting him that day, he took me by surprise and while embracing me, stabbed me in the back, severing my spinal column. As I was dying, I was rifted, into the universe of a being named Lukas, though what happened there is a story for another time. This is why I am being cautious of all of you, though I truly mean no insult to any of you, ,I refuse to be caught off-guard by ones I think my friends again".
